WOW, Trouble in Liberal Land … David Letterman ‘Upset’ and ‘Discouraged’ Barack Obama Lied About Romney Wanting Detroit To Go Bankrupt
When Liberals lose faith in their Obamamessiah … Are liberals finally learning that Obama is a liar?
Uber-lib late night talk show host David Letterman is one of President Barack Obama’s biggest supporters and Kool-aid drinkers. However, Letterman, said on Tuesday’s Late Show that he was “upset” and “discouraged” that President Obama during Monday’s debate lied about Mitt Romney wanting to let Detroit go bankrupt. OUCH!!!
Even David Letterman sees Obama is the Lying King. It appears that Letterman is upset and discouraged that Obama was caught lying. Really Dave? Like this is the first time Obama has lied? If Letterman wants a president who does not lie, he can always vote for Romney.
Transcript at NewsBusters:
DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST: Here’s what upset me last night, this playing fast and loose with facts. And the President Obama cites the op-ed piece that Romney wrote about Detroit, “Let them go bankrupt, let them go bankrupt,” and last night he brings it up again. “Oh, no, Governor, you said let them go bankrupt, blah blah blah, let them go bankrupt.” And Mitt said, “No, no, check the thing, check the thing, check the thing.”
Now, I don’t care whether you’re Republican or Democrat, you want your president to be telling the truth; you want the contender to be lying. And so what we found out today or soon thereafter that, in fact, the President Obama was not telling the truth about what was excerpted from that op-ed piece. I felt discouraged.
RACHEL MADDOW: Because the “Let Detroit go bankrupt” headline you feel like was inappropriate?
LETTERMAN: Well, the fact the President is invoking it and swearing that he was right and that Romney was wrong and I thought, well, he’s the president of course he’s right. Well, it turned out no, he was taking liberties with that. (more)
So, if you ever wondered just how bad Obama presently has it, look no further than Letterman having an issue with Obama. How with just two weeks from the election can Obama have an issue with his base? This is just a microcosm of the problem that Obama will have with turn out.
But what did MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow do on the Letterman show when Dave was discouraged ny Obama lying … lie some more. These folks on the far LEFT are just pathetic. They have nothing left but lies.
What a shock that Obama lies. Question here is why didn’t Letterman ready the oped piece in the NY Times, ‘Let Detroit Go Bankrupt’,
for himself and determine what Romney had stated.Romney never wanted Detroit to go bankrupt in the sense of liquidation, he wanted them to go through and organized bankruptcy protection, reorg and have the time and new circumstances to come out better and thrive.
The American auto industry is vital to our national interest as an employer and as a hub for manufacturing. A managed bankruptcy may be the only path to the fundamental restructuring the industry needs. It would permit the companies to shed excess labor, pension and real estate costs. The federal government should provide guarantees for post-bankruptcy financing and assure car buyers that their warranties are not at risk.
In a managed bankruptcy, the federal government would propel newly competitive and viable automakers, rather than seal their fate with a bailout check.

Did You Miss This … Rush Limbaugh Discusses the Drive By MSM Shocked by Focus Group Voter Reaction to Debate between Romney & Obama
More MSM bias … they just were stunned that voters reacted positive to Mitt Romney, Just Stunned!!!
If the liberal MSM was shocked by the reaction of focus group voters following the third and final presidential debate, they are in for a doozy election eve. The CBS focus group of undecided voters in Ohio gave the debate win to Mitt Romney. OUCH, that was not what the liberal media wanted to hear.
Rush Limbaugh discusses the shock of the MSM as only he can.
To the audio sound bites! This morning on CBS This Morning, I have a portion here of National Correspondent Dean Reynolds’ report on a panel of undecided Ohio voters who watched last night’s debate and what they got from it.
Now, you can’t see it, obviously. This is radio. But Norah O’Donnell’s face in this sound bite is priceless. These people cannot believe what they are hearing. What we have here is an undecided Ohio voter on this panel, Norah O’Donnell and the cohost Charlie Rose. And they start off here with Dean Reynolds, who is a CBS correspondent in Ohio.
REYNOLDS: When it was all over, they were asked who won. The president got two votes. Governor Romney got six. All had made up their minds, at least for now.

Lifetime Democrat & Former Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca Endorses Republican Mitt Romney for President … GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”
Romney receives ringing endorsement from life time Democracy Lee Iacocca …
Add another Democrat to the list of individuals who is endorsing Mitt Romney for President. This is rather interesting, the auto industry titan Iacocca is endorsing Romney, even though Romney was against Obama’s auto bail out? Former Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca is endorsing Republican candidate Mitt Romney for president stating “dozens of years of experiences in the public and private sectors” and because the GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”
After a lifetime of voting for and supporting Democrats — and even declining appointment to the U.S. Senate from a Democratic governor — Lee Iacocca Thursday endorsed Republican Mitt Romney for president.
The blessings of the onetime Chrysler chairman are expected to help Romney in two highly competitive states: Pennsylvania, where the 88-year-old Iacocca was born and raised and is still widely respected, and in Michigan, where Iacocca rose to become a major figure in the auto industry and won international praise for cobbling together the government-backed loans that saved Chrysler in 1980.
In his endorsement message, Iacocca complained that “America is in deep trouble,” facing high debts and still suffering “anemic” economic growth. He said “hope and speeches won’t get our people back to work.”
Iacocca, who now lives in California, issued a statement saying he backed Romney because of his “dozens of years of experiences in the public and private sectors” and because the GOP nominee has a plan that “will enable a stronger America.”
Don’t fret Barack, you did get the Honey Boo Boo endorsement.

Liberal Newspapers Abandoning Obama … Orlando Sentinel Endorses Mitt Romney … Add The Tennessean as Well
WOW, Hell Just Froze Over … Liberal Newspaper have buyer’s remorse. The Orlando Sentinel and Tennessean endorse Mitt Romney …
What a difference four years makes. How bad is it for President Barack Obama … liberal newspaper, The Orlando Sentinel endorses GOP Presidential challenger Mitt Romney In an amazing reversal of fortune, the the Orlando Sentinel kicks Barack Obama to the curb and endorses Romney and laid out their rational for their decision. Their main point and the main issue for millions of Americans, the economy. Barack Obama has failed America as unemployment remains high, millions of Americans are unemployed or under-employed, as economic growth is “anemic” and the federal debt is through the roof over $16 trillion.
But the core of Romney’s campaign platform, his five-point plan, at least shows he understands that reviving the economy and repairing the government’s balance sheet are imperative — now, not four years in the future.
Romney has a strong record of leadership to run on. He built a successful business. He rescued the 2002 Winter Olympics from scandal and mismanagement. As governor of Massachusetts, he worked with a Democrat-dominated legislature to close a $3billion budget deficit without borrowing or raising taxes, and pass the health plan that became a national model.
This is Romney’s time to lead, again. If he doesn’t produce results — even with a hostile Senate — we’ll be ready in 2016 to get behind someone else who will.
But wait, Team Reelect Obama thought that was bad … Hell just froze over, The Tennessean also just endorsed Romney. Granted, the state of Tennessee is dark red and not in play for the 2012 Presidential election; however, the Tennessean is as liberal a rag as their is in the US. It is the newspaper that gave Al Gore his start in journalism. Nuff said. This is a newspaper that has endorsed every Presidential Democrat candidate, not this time. Who knew, pigs can fly.
The Tennessean decision to endorse Romney also pointed to Obama’s failures with the economy and Obama’s failures. He promised America “Hope & Change” and as the Tennessean, maybe only such change can come from Mitt Romney.
Should President Obama, as some suggested, have devoted his early political capital to jobs and debt reduction and pursuing Wall Street criminals, instead of health reform? Time will tell. But it’s clear whatever shaky bridges were burned in the push for health reform only emboldened Republicans to oppose his subsequent economic proposals. That has rendered much of his presidency ineffective.
Barack Obama was elected in 2008 with a call for hope and change. Perhaps the change he spoke of could only come with the help of Mitt Romney.
OUCH! Can you say the rats are abandoning the sinking S.S. Obama? Even liberal print media is starting to understand that Obama is not the answer, even if they believe in his ideology. Just how bad and an epic failure must Barack Obama be to lose the endorsements of some of the most uber-lib print media in the United States? But don’t worry Barack, you got the Honey Boo Boo endorsement.
Mitt Romney Steals the Show at Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner … “president’s remarks tonight are brought to you but the letter ‘O’ and the number $16 trillion”
Last night we witnessed the lighter side of politics as Mitt Romney and Barack Obama appeared at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner … in the end, Romney NAILED IT!!! Guess what America, Romney is not a stiff, wooden robot. He is actually funny and real.
America witnessed yet another Romney myth go by the wayside. Romney stiff, not funny, can’t relate to Americans or make fun of himself? HARDLY. Watch the VIDEO below as Romney owned the room and actually beat Obama at his own game … telling jokes and yucking it up. Romney was on his game and Obama, well, many of Barack’s lines and jokes fell flat.
Mitt Romney … Guess what America, Mitt’s funny!
As the Washington Examiner writes … Romney was surprisingly hilarious. Surprisingly? No, not really … maybe only surprisingly because the MSM and Obama attack ads have tried to pain Romney something he is not. By night’s end and when American voters see the clips of the Alfred E. Smith dinner, voters will realize that Mitt just might be more likable than they were told.
Check out some of the more funny jokes from Mitt Romney as he did a tremendous job and showed American voters he is hardly stiff.
[Mitt able to make fun of himself and his wife Anne] Now Al, you were right, a campaign can require a lot of wardrobe changes. We — blue jeans in the morning perhaps, suits for a lunch fundraiser, sport coat for dinner, but it’s nice to finally relax and to wear what Ann and I wear around the house.
(LAUGHTER)Let’s just say that some in the media have a certain way of — of looking at things. When suddenly I — I pulled ahead in some of the major polls, what was the headline? “Polls Show Obama Leading from Behind.”
…as President Obama surveys the Waldorf banquet room with everyone in white tie and refinery, you have to wonder what he’s thinking. So little time, so much to redistribute.
(LAUGHTER)Second, find the biggest available straw man and then just mercilessly attack it.
Big Bird didn’t even see it coming.
And by the way in — in the spirit of Sesame Street, the president’s remarks tonight are brought to you but the letter ‘O’ and the number $16 trillion.
(LAUGHTER)…now I never suggest that the — that the press is biased. I recognize that they have their job to do, and I have my job to do. My job is to lay out a positive vision for the future of the country, and their job is to make sure no one else finds out about it.
(LAUGHTER)
Barack Obama had some good lines but many fell flat and his timing and delivery was off. Maybe in the back of his mind he was thinking about that Gallup poll that had him trailing Romney by 7? However, as Newsbusters opines, one of his funnier moments was his making fun of Chris Matthews … “Four years ago, I gave him a thrill up his leg. This time around I gave him a stroke.”
