The Hill Poll: 56% of Likely Voters Believe Obama Has Changed America for the Worse During His First Term as President

Overwhelming majority think that Barack Obama has changed America for the worse … ya think? Hey America, how’s that “hopey, changey” stuff working out for ya?

More bad polling data for President Barack Obama. A new poll from The Hill conducted by the Pulse Opinion Research stated that 56% of likely voters believe that President Barack Obama has changed America for the worse during his first term in office as opposed to only 35% who think he has changed it for the better. 91% of Republicans polled think that Obama’s changes are bad for America, while an interesting low number of 71% of Democrats think Obama’s changes have been good and a striking 20% of Democrats polled say that Obama has changed America in a negative way.

Full polling results can be seen HERE with cross-tabs.

Two-thirds of likely voters say President Obama has kept his 2008 campaign promise to change America — but it’s changed for the worse, according to a sizable majority.

A new poll for The Hill found 56 percent of likely voters believe Obama’s first term has transformed the nation in a negative way, compared to 35 percent who believe the country has changed for the better under his leadership.

The results signal broad voter unease with the direction the nation has taken under Obama’s leadership and present a major challenge for the incumbent Democrat as he seeks reelection this fall.

This also follows the Rasmussen poll where a substantial percentage of Americans believe Obama’s policies are more extreme than Romney’s.

Who would have thought with an escalating national debt, 40+ weeks with an unemployment rate over 8%, record number of Americans on food stamps and continued poor job creation that Americans would think that Obama shift of America to socialism was a bad thing? But as stated at Jammie Wearing Fool, normally news like this would be a political death blow to an incumbent President, but not with an in the tank, suck up, bias and corrupt liberal media complex. A note to Team Elect Romney … WAKE THE HELL UP AND START TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THIS TERRIBLE POLLING.

Nice analysis at Q and O with a similar thought process that we have been stating for months. How can there be so much negative polling on specific issues and yet Obama be in the lead in the polls? At some point closer to election day, things are going to break one way or the other.

Rasmussen: 47% of Likely Voters Consider Barack Obama’s Political Views Extreme, Only 31% Say Mitt Romney’s Are the Same

President Barack Obama, his political minions and the MSM have tried to to paint GOP presumptive Presidential nominee Mitt Romney as extreme; however, the voters are not buying it. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 47% likely voters consider the political views of President Obama as extreme, as opposed to only 31% who say the same about Romney. By converse, 51% of likely voters consider Romney in the political mainstream.

A bare majority of voters still considers Mitt Romney in the political mainstream, while the number who think President Obama’s views are extreme has edged up for the second month in a row.  A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters describe the political views of the presumptive Republican presidential candidate as mainstream. Thirty-one percent (31%) consider his views extreme. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure.

Who is the more radical, extremist politician … voters say Barack Obama. The people also say that Barack Obama is one of the most polarizing Presidents in modern history.

OUT OF TOUCH, a Disaster for the US Economy … Barack Obama Says 80,000 Jobs is a “Step in the Right Direction” … Romney Says “Its a Kick in the Gut”, You Make the Call America

If this is a step in the right direction for the American economy … Obama needs to keep stepping right out the door of the White House in 2012 election.

WAKE UP AMERICA … Either President Barack Obama is the most out of touch with the people President ever, or he is just a bold face liar who thinks the American people are stupid. Following yesterday’s disastrous jobs report that say a meager 80,000 jobs created in the month of June and unemployment remained at 8.2%, President Barack Obama actually had the audacity to say that this was “a step in the right direction. HUH? From what the even more pathetic and anemic jobs numbers from April and May 2012 where April was revised from +77,000 to +68,000, and the change for May was revised from +69,000 to +77,000? In the last three months under the  Obama administration, the economy has created a paltry 225K jobs or an average of 75K per month.

This is what another 4 years of Obama looks like … 80,000 jobs nearly 4 years in Office is a step in the right direction

Make no mistake about it America, the job growth situation is getting worse not better. Did I miss something, Obama says in the VIDEO above in commenting about the poor jobs numbers that 84,000 were created. He cannot even seem to tell the truth about that as he did not use the total number created which was 80K (businesses created 84,000 while government lost 4,000). A note to the smartest President ever, 84,000 – 4,000 = 80,000.  Even if you are to take Obama at his spin and cherry pick the numbers, he states that 4.4 million jobs have been created over the past 28 months. Hmm … that averages to about 157,000 a month much below the last three months of jobs growth that are at best 50% of the average, April 68,000, May 77,000, and June 80,000. How could anything in job growth be a step in the right direction when the numbers just do not show it. At this rate we should be out of the recession just before the Rapture.

The private sector, which was expected to have created as many as 110,000 jobs, generated a mere 84,000, less than half the 176,000 forecast just yesterday by an ADP report. Only some of the most aggressive hiring by local governments in months — presumably for summer work — helped keep the overall jobs numbers from falling further. Local governments added 18,100 new workers.

June capped the worst quarter in two years for hiring, and was way off the average of 226,000 monthly new jobs in the first quarter. From April through June the U.S. economy averaged 75,000 new jobs a month, a mere 3,000 ahead of 2010 and far behind last year’s average of 130,000.

Mitt Romney Calls today’s 80,000 jobs created reports a “kick in the gut”

Obama is so quick to say that Romney’s plan for the economy is going back to the Bush years. I would dare ask, and so should the American people and the MSM, what is Obama’s plan … 4 more years of this nonsense?

There is a reason why in the latest Rasmussen poll that only 31% of Americans give Barack Obama positive marks on handling the economy. A delusional 12% true believers who must be socialist-anarchists or the most ignorant individuals in America that want to see America implode actually said Obama was doing an excellent jobs. Then again, maybe these are the folks that received “green” energy stimulus and grants at the tax payers expense? Inn another Rasmussen poll, 50% trust Romney with the economy more vs. only 42% for Obama.

The economy has been the most important issue to voters for years, but ratings for the president’s performance in that area are at their lowest level since last November.  A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows just 31% of Likely Voters believe President Obama is doing a good or excellent job handling economic issues, including 12% who say he is doing an excellent job. Forty-eight percent (48%) believe Obama is doing a poor job in this area. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

At what point is America going to punish Barack Obama in the polls for his disastrous handling of the number one issue for Americans, the economy? It is obvious that Obama’s policies are not working. Also, when is anyone going to question why Obama focused so much on Obamacare during the first two years of his Presidency than the economy and jobs? Instead, President Barack Obama continues his class warfare  bus tour message to folks that just drink the Kool-aid and brush off a a second quarter that saw only 224,000 jobs created … an amount that we should be seeing created in a month.

“Mr. Romney and his allies in Congress, they’ve got a particular view,” Obama said in Parma. “They believe if we cut taxes, especially for the wealthiest Americans [at the expense of education, Medicare and other programs] that somehow all this is going to benefit you.”

“I’ve got a different theory,” Obama continued. “I think they’re wrong.”

And hence the Betting on America theme. Obama presented himself as a president who has invested in working Americans, citing his support of the federal loans to Chrysler and General Motors.

One thing is for certain, Mitt Romney must come out with an economic plan of how he differs from Obama and what he will do when he becomes President to turn the US economy around. It can’t just be he will repeal Obamacare. It does not have to have all details, but Romney must create a bullet point presentation to the American people that will show what he will change and the effective job growth. Barack Obama is there for the taking because no President should ever be reelected with a continued over 8% unemployment rate and no plan for the future.

Anne Romney Says Woman Being Eyed for Mitt’s Vice President Pick … Could they be Ayotte, Haley and Martinez?

I guess this will be called more of the GOP’s war on woman.

Anne Romney, the wife of presumptive GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney, stated that women are being eyed and vetted for Mitt’s pick as who will be on the 2012 Republican ticket.Wouldn’t that be something if the very party who has been continuously accused by Obama as having a war on women actually had a women on the ticket? Last time I checked, Joe Biden was an old, white dude.

Mitt Romney’s wife says her husband is thinking about picking a woman to be on his ticket this fall.

Ann Romney says in an interview, “We’ve been looking at that and I love that option as well.”

She tells CBS News she thinks the person selected for the No. 2 spot should be “someone that obviously can do the job but will be able to carry through with some of the other responsibilities.”

US Senator Kelly Ayotte (New Hampshire)

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley

New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez

Who could Mitt Romney being eying as his VP? The obvious three choices that come to mind are New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte,  South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez. Ayotte probably does not bring enough to the table being a new Senator and from a fellow New England state. Nikki Haley is from a safe “red” GOP state of South Carolina.  If it were my pick I would go with Martinez and I might actually chose Susana Martinez over everyone’s choice Marco Rubio. Hard for Democrats to play the women and Mexican card when Susana Martinez is the successful governor of NM, female and Hispanic.

Mitt Romney Calls Health Care Mandate What the SCOTUS Ruled it As … a ‘Tax’

More MSM bias and the health care Obamacare tax around the President’s neck …

Just curious, how come when Obama has a change of opinion on a topic it is called an evolution of change by the MSM. How come when Obama’s top adviser has a misspeak on TV from the view point of the President, it is just ignored? How about when VP Joe Biden says something not in line with Obama, it is no big “F’n” deal?   But when a Republican has one that goes against what another has said, it is a contradiction? Try as Obama, Democrats and the in the tank MSM will, you cannot run from the fact that Obamacare is a tax.

There is nothing worse than holding an individual’s own words against them. Welcome to the 2012 Obama’s version of  read my lips, no new taxes fr the middle class.Mitt Romney stated over the weekend that he thought that Obamacare was a tax because that was whet the US Supreme Court ruled it as.  Mitt Romney also sat down with CBS News and further stated that Obamacare was a tax. Romney went on to say that the American people know it is a tax and know that Barack Obama broke a campaign promise. Did the Romney adviser make a gaffe and get tongue tied when he was trying to discuss whether Obamacare was a tax or a penalty, of course he did. However, I think I will go by what the candidate actually says, rather than a surrogate. That is how the MSM treats Obama.

Mitt Romney said the federal health care reform mandate constitutes a “tax” Wednesday, contradicting the way a senior adviser to his campaign characterized his position earlier this week.

But the similar individual mandate and fee he signed into law when governor of Massachusetts is not a tax, he said in a separate interview, citing the Supreme Court’s decision last Thursday.

Of the federal law, Romney told CNN’s Dana Bash and Shawna Shepherd, “Supreme Court is the final word, right? The highest court in the land? They said it’s a tax didn’t they?”

“So it’s a tax, of course, if that’s what they say it is,” he continued.

Romney’s comments from CBS News:

“The Supreme Court has spoken, and while I agreed with the dissent, that’s taken over by the fact that the majority of the court said it’s a tax, and therefore it is a tax. They have spoken. There’s no way around that,” the presumptive GOP presidential nominee told Crawford in an exclusive interview, referring to the court’s 5-4 ruling that largely upheld the president’s signature health care law, with the individual mandate as a tax.

“I said that I agreed with the dissent, and the dissent made it very clear that they felt it was unconstitutional,” Romney continued. “But the dissent lost – it’s in the minority.”

“You can try and say you wish [the court] had decided a different way, but they didn’t,” Romney said. “They concluded it was a tax; that’s what it is. And the American people know that President Obama has broken the pledge he made. He said he wouldn’t raise taxes on middle-income Americans, and not only did he raise the $500 billion that was already in the bill, it’s now clear that his mandate, as described by the Supreme Court, is a tax.”

Not a tax Mr President?
