Rasmussen Poll: Donald Trump 44%, Hillary Clinton 37%

HMM …

A recent Rasmussen poll has The Donald ahead of Hillary by 7 percentage points. However, over all the RCP rolling average of polling has Clinton +3.1%. The gap is definitely tightening between the two candidates. My opinion is that the real polling will come more into line when Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have their first presidential debate.

Donald Trump thumbs up

Just days before the Republican National Convention is expected to formally nominate him to run for president, Donald Trump has taken his largest lead yet over Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports weekly White House Watch survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 44% support to Clinton’s 37%. Thirteen percent (13%) favor some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This is the third week in a row that Trump has held the lead, although last week he was ahead by a statistically insignificant 42% to 40%. This week’s findings represent Trump’s highest level of support in surveys since last October and show Clinton continuing to lose ground.

Polls Following Email Scandal is Weighing on Hillary Clinton, Now Tied With Donald Trump & In Trouble in Battle Ground States

MAYBE IT WAS A GOOD THING HILLARY WAS NOT INDICTED, SHE IS FEELING THE WRATH OF THE VOTERS

In the aftermath of the non-Hillary Clinton email indictment, many polls find the race tightening between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. The most recent New York Times/CBS News poll shows that it is a toe at 40% between Trump and Hillary.  Mrs. Clinton’s 6 percentage point lead over Trump from last month’s CBS News poll has all but evaporated. Another major problem for Clinton, as she prepares to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination at the convention in Philadelphia this month, is she that 67% of voters say she is not honest and trustworthy. Can you say #Lying, Crooked Hillary.

Trump also has picked up some momentum in battleground state polls.

Hillary Clinton has emerged from the F.B.I. investigation into her email practices as secretary of state a wounded candidate with a large and growing majority of voters saying she cannot be trusted, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

As Mrs. Clinton prepares to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination at the convention in Philadelphia this month, she will confront an electorate in which 67 percent of voters say she is not honest and trustworthy. That number is up five percentage points from a CBS News poll conducted last month, before the F.B.I. released its findings.

Mrs. Clinton’s six-percentage-point lead over the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald J. Trump, in a CBS News poll last month has evaporated. The two candidates are now tied in a general election matchup, the new poll indicates, with each receiving the support of 40 percent of voters.

ABC News/WAPO Poll: Majority Disapprove of Obama DOJ/FBI Decision Not to Charge Hillary Clinton on Emails

AMERICA KNOWS HILLARY IS A LAIR AND DEMOCRATS DON’T CARE

A recent ABC News/WAPO poll shows that an overwhelming majority of Americas disapprove of Obama’s Department of Justice, FBI decision not to charge Hillary Clinton with a crime regarding to her emails and the use of a private server while serving as Secretary of State. An amazing 58% disagreed with the decision, while only 38 approve. What might be even more damning to the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee is that a majority of Americans also believe that her inappropriate handling of emails and circumventing record acts make them worry as to how she would act as president. Really? You mean you think she would be “Lying” Hillary, if president? Even Democrats are a bit hesitant when it comes to the honesty challenged Hillary Clinton.

However, the MSM tries to find comfort in the polling numbers by claiming that 58% state the email crimes make no difference to how they would vote. What a shock. We are a divided country where probably 90% of the 50% of Dems could care less if Hillary Clinton killed someone, they would still vote for her. What isn’t considered in the 58% is the fact that there are many on the right that were never going to vote for her either, thus the email lies did not change anything for them either. No matter what the poll numbers say, America knows Hillary Clinton is a liar. Now its up to them to look themselves in the mirror and live with the choice.

A majority of Americans disapprove of the FBI’s recommendation not to charge Hillary Clinton with a crime over her handling of email while secretary of state, and a similar number in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say the issue leaves them worried about how she would handle her responsibilities as president if elected.

Most also say the email controversy won’t affect their vote in the presidential election. But 28 percent say it leaves them less likely to support her, versus 10 percent who say it makes them more likely to do so.

Overall, 56 percent disapprove of FBI Director James Comey’s recommendation not to charge Clinton, while just 35 percent approve. Similarly, 57 percent say the incident makes them worried about how Clinton might act as president if she is elected, with most very worried about it. Just 39 percent feel the issue isn’t related to how she would perform as president.

Quinnipiac University Poll: Hillary Clinton 42% and Donald Trump 40%

Q POLL HAS PRESIDENTIAL RACE NEARLY DEAD EVEN

This is a rather ominous sign for Hillary Clinton as the most recent Quinnipiac University National Poll has Democrat Hillary Clinton has 42% while Republican Donald Trump is at 40%. Obviously, this poll is within the margin of error and a long ways away from the November 2016 presidential election; however, Trump has barely begun to campaign. And Hillary, who has been on the political landscape for decades is a known commodity. As the MSM likes to say about Trump, maybe it is Hillary who has hit her voting ceiling?

What might be most comical about the poll is that both candidates have high negative ratings and a majority of those polled believe both Clinton and Trump will not make good presidents. Of course that begs the question, then why did people vote for them in the primaries?

Democrat Hillary Clinton has 42 percent to Republican Donald Trump’s 40 percent – too close to call – as American voters say neither candidate would be a good president and that the campaign has increased hatred and prejudice in the nation, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today.

This compares to results of a June 1 national poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN- uh-pe-ack) University, showing Clinton edging Trump 45 – 41 percent.

When third party candidates are added to today’s survey, Clinton gets 39 percent with Trump at 37 percent. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson gets 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 4 percent.

“The 2016 election has increased the level of hatred and prejudice in the U.S.,” 61 percent of American voters say. Another 34 percent say it has had no impact. Of that 61 percent, 67 percent blame the Trump campaign and 16 percent blame the Clinton campaign.

“It would be difficult to imagine a less flattering from-the-gut reaction to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

“This is where we are. Voters find themselves in the middle of a mean-spirited, scorched earth campaign between two candidates they don’t like. And they don’t think either candidate would be a good president.”
