Doug Schoen: I am Reassessing my support for Hillary Clinton … I am Not Voting for Hillary Clinton

ONE HAS TO WONDER HOW MANY HONEST THINKING DEMOCRATS, MODERATES AND MIDDLE OF THE ROAD INDEPENDENTS ARE NOT SAYING THE SAME THING?

Yesterday we reported on this and we are again so today because of its importance in such a close presidential race. Longtime Democratic strategist and pollster Doug Schoen announced Sunday that he will no longer be able to support Hillary Clinton for president. Schoen did this because he is putting country ahead of party and a single candidate. I have longed disagreed with Doug Schoen; however, respected him. This is an example of why. I to believe, like Schoen, never should we elect an individual of any party who would simply through the country into chaos and a “constitutional” crisis. Sadly, the Democrat party did just that as they cooked a Democrat primary as seen by the Wikileaks emails as Team Clinton, the DNC and the MSM all colluded against Bernie Sanders. A vote for Hillary Clinton was always a risky vote as one never knew what scandal would blow up again, no matter how hard the Obama DOJ, FBI and Democrat media complex tried to cover for her.

In an op-ed in the Hill, Schoen said that he believed the United States could face a “constitutional crisis” if Clinton is elected president due to the looming FBI investigation into her private email server and the email practices of her aides.

“I say this because regardless of what Secretary Clinton did or didn’t do or what her aide, Huma Abedin, did or didn’t do or even what Anthony Weiner did or didn’t do, I am now convinced that we will be facing the very real possibility of a constitutional crisis with many dimensions and deleterious consequences should Secretary Clinton win the election,” Schoen wrote.

The question that remains is just how many Democrat voters are also having a change of conscience and feel this is just a scandal too far? How many Independents have just had enough? Will the polls reflect it or will the final poll be in the election vote count? With just one week to go, we shall see what the answer truly is.

The Hill:

I made one of the most difficult decisions of my life — not just political, but also personal — last night.

During my weekly show on the “Fox Report” hosted by Harris Faulkner with Pat Caddell and John LeBoutillier, I indicated that it will be very difficult, if not impossible, for me to vote for Hillary Clinton on November 8.

Why did I say this?

Not for any small reason.

FBI Director James Comey’s decision to make public the fact that more emails potentially pertinent to the Clinton probe had been found on Anthony Weiner’s computer changes the impact of this election on the future of the country.

I say this because regardless of what Secretary Clinton did or didn’t do or what her aide, Huma Abedin, did or didn’t do or even what Anthony Weiner did or didn’t do, I am now convinced that we will be facing the very real possibility of a constitutional crisis with many dimensions and deleterious consequences should Secretary Clinton win the election.

In the best case scenario, there will be at the very least a criminal investigation of President-elect Clinton. And there will be a criminal investigation of Huma Abedin, which is apparently ongoing. Furthermore, there will be potential investigations into the actions of the Justice Department and most of all the FBI and its director, James Comey.

Hillary Clinton’s Unfavorable Rating Hits New high in Poll

ISN’T AMAZING WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE TRUTH COMES OUT ABOUT HILLARY CLINTON … SHE’S FALLEN AND SHE CAN’T GET UP!!!

According to the polling data from the most recent ABC News/Washington Post poll, Hillary Clinton now has her highest unfavorable rating EVER!!! They are actually now higher than that of Donald Trump. Also, her once 12 point so-called margin is now down to 1 point. Could this news of new email discovered from Hillary Clinton’s private email scandal finally be it?

All Sunday talk shows had this story wall to wall, there are no other stories being discussed and that are all bad for Hillary.

Hillary Unfavorable

Sixty percent of voters view Hillary Clinton unfavorably, according to a ABC News/Washington Post poll released Monday morning, the highest level of unpopularity yet for the Democratic presidential nominee.

Her Republican opponent Donald Trump is seen unfavorably by essentially as many, 58%. Overall, the race for president is heading down to the wire, with the poll showing Clinton leading Trump among likely voters by just one point, 46% to 45%. The poll was taken Wednesday through Saturday.

Using the last two nights’ results, after FBI Director James Comey revealed a further Clinton-related email investigation, 47% of the Democratic nominee’s supporters said they were very enthusiastic about her, compared with 51% across the previous six nights

Former Clinton Pollster Doug Schoen Withdraws Support for Hillary Clinton Over Renewed FBI Investigation into Email/Server

A SCANDAL TOO FAR FOR FORMER CLINTON POLLSTER DOUG SCHOEN

Wow, former Clinton pollster Doug Schoen withdraws his support for Hillary Clinton after the latest revelations from the FBI on Friday, that more emails have been discovered on a laptop the belonged to Anthony Weiner and Clinton confidant Huma Abedin.

Schoen, a former adviser to former President Bill Clinton, said he has known the Clintons since 1994, but is pulling back from Hillary Clinton “because of the impact on the governance of the country and our international situation.”

FBI Director James Comey announced on Friday that the agency is looking into new potentially relevant emails connected to the investigation into Clinton’s private email server, but offered few other details. Officials reportedly obtained a warrant to examine tens-of-thousands of new emails on a laptop shared by top Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

Transcription from The Gateway Pundit:

Shoen, “”I’ve been a supporter of Secretary Clinton.”

Host Harris Faulkner, “We all know, yeah!”

Schoen, “You do know. But, and the but is a big deal, at least to me. Given that this investigation is gonna go on for many months after the election.”

Faulkner, “No matter who wins.”

Schoen, “No matter who wins. But if the secretary of State (Clinton) wins we will have a president under criminal investigation with Huma Abedin under investigation, the secretary of State–the president-elect–should she win under investigation. Harris, under these circumstances I am actively reassessing my support. I’m not a Trump…”

Faulkner, “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. You’re not gonna vote for Hillary Clinton?”

Schoen, “Harris, I’m deeply concerned that we will have a constitutional crisis if she’s elected. I want to learn more this week see what we see. But as of today I am not a supporter of the secretary of State for the next…”

Faulkner, speaks over Schoen, “How long have you known the Clintons, sir?”

Schoen, “I’ve known the Clintons since 1994.”

Faulkner, “Wow.”

Clinton Lead Shrinks From 12 to 4 Points Over Trump in Latest WAPO-ABC Tracking Poll

HMMM … COULD THE WIKILEAKS EMAILS, SCANDALS AND HILLARY CORRUPTION FINALLY BE TAKING HOLD WITH THE ELECTORATE?

According the the latest WAPO-ABC tracking poll, Hillary Clinton only leads Donald trump by 4 percentage points, 48% to 44%. Just 4 days ago, this poll had Clinton up by 12 as many scratched their heads as to how anything like that could be accurate. However, Trump is now within 4 points and trending upward. Could this be a last minute poll swing with less than two weeks to go before the election? Could the Wikileak emails showing the mountain of Democrat, Team Hilly corruption and the Clinton’s personal financial gain finally be taking hold?

Donald Trump thumbs up

Or could it be the horrific Obamacare news of insane premium increases that are moving the polls to Trump, especially with independents? National polls generally do not mean all that much, but they do provide trends to see who the electorate is gravitating to. The Obamacare news is truly damning as the highest rate increases occur in battle ground states, (Ohio: 13.12% increase, Florida: 17.40% increase, Pennsylvania: 32.5% increase, Nevada: 11.74% increase, Maine: 21.24% increase, New Hampshire: 12.44% increase, Virginia: 21.68% increase, North Carolina: 24.30% increase, Iowa: 20.46% increase, Michigan: 16.06% increase, Wisconsin: 20.39% increase). How will that move the needle in the final days?

Donald Trump has gained on Hillary Clinton during the past week, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News tracking poll, solidifying support among core Republican groups as well as political independents.

Roughly 6 in 10 still expect Clinton to prevail, while the poll finds shrinking concerns about the accuracy of the vote count and voter fraud in the election.

Clinton holds a slight 48-44 percent edge over Trump among likely voters, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 4 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein at 1 percent in the survey completed Sunday through Wednesday. Clinton held a six-point edge in the previous wave and a 12-point edge in the first wave of the tracking poll by ABC News Sunday (50 percent Clinton vs. 38 percent Trump). In a two-candidate contest, Clinton holds a five-point edge over Trump, 50 to 45 percent.

Trump’s growth in support from 38 percent to 44 percent is fueled by shored-up support among Republican-leaning voting groups as well as a significant boost among political independents. Trump has made up ground among whites, particularly those without college degrees and women. Trump now leads by a 30 percentage point margin among white voters without college degrees, up from 20 points from this weekend. White women now tilt toward Trump by 48 to 43 percent after leaning 49 to 43 percent in Clinton’s favor before.

Trump saw his biggest gains among political independents, favoring Trump by a 12-point margin in the latest tracking poll, 49 to 37 percent, after giving Clinton a narrow edge in late last week. Neither candidate has maintained a consistent lead among independent likely voters in Post-ABC polling this fall.

Support for Assault Weapons Ban at Record Low in United States

WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU VOTE FOR ANTI-SECOND AMENDMENT HILLARY CLINTON IF SUPPORT FOR ASSAULT-STYLE WEAPONS BAN IS AT ALL TIME LOW?

According to the latest Gallup poll, the support for a ban on semi-automatic, assault-style weapons is at an all time low in the United States. Only 36% of those polled are in favor of any such ban, marking the lowest of any such support since Gallup starting polling this issue in 1996. And down from 44%, just four years ago. As reported at The Federalist support across the board is down, not just with Republicans as “barely 50 percent of Democrats currently support the ban today, compared to 63 percent support from Democrats in 1996, just two years after the federal ban was signed into law. Less than a third of independents currently support a ban, while Republican support hovers at 25 percent.”

  • 36% favor a ban on assault rifles, down from 44% four years ago
  • Half of Democrats and a quarter of Republicans favor this ban
  • A majority of those in households without guns oppose such a ban

Gallup poll_weapons ban 102616

The fewest Americans in 20 years favor making it illegal to manufacture, sell or possess semi-automatic guns known as assault rifles. Thirty-six percent now want an assault weapons ban, down from 44% in 2012 and 57% when Gallup first asked the question in 1996.

Assault rifles have been a contentious issue in American life for decades. Two years after President Bill Clinton signed a federal assault weapons ban in 1994, Gallup found that a solid majority of Americans favored such a ban. By the time the 10-year ban expired in 2004, Americans were evenly divided. And by 2011, public opinion had tilted against the assault weapons ban, with 53% opposed and 43% in favor. In Gallup’s 2016 Crime poll, conducted Oct. 5-9, opposition now exceeds support by 25 percentage points, 61% to 36%.

What seems to be certain is that Americans do not want the government telling them how and with what they can protect themselves and to keep their grubby hands off the Second Amendment. Which begs the obvious question, why on earth would you vote for Hillary Clinton who is for the ban and is anti-Second Amendment?
