Gallup: President Barack Obama More Polarizing in Year 2 Than Year 1 … No Kidding! Really?

Obama Year 2 hardly a sign of “Hope & Change”.

So you thought that President Barack Hussein Obama was the most polarizing president in a first year for a president.  Well, you ain’t seen nothing yet as a recent Gallup poll shows. According to Gallup Barack Obama was more polarizing in his second year of office than he was his first. Obama had a 68% party gap between GOP and Democrat approval ratings.

President Barack Obama’s job approval ratings were even more polarized during his second year in office than during his first, when he registered the most polarized ratings for a first-year president. An average of 81% of Democrats and 13% of Republicans approved of the job Obama was doing as president during his second year. That 68-point gap in party ratings is up from 65 points in his first year and is easily the most polarized second year for a president since Dwight Eisenhower.

Year Two of Obamanation: Barack Obama’s Approval Rating = GWB’s in Year 5 of Presidency. Once again the Politico shows just how Left-wing that they have become. Their title to Obama’s polarization, “Poll reveals striking divide on Obama”. STRIKING? What’s so striking? To most common sense people, the results are nothing more than would be expected. As much as the LEFT and MSM want to suddenly compare Obama to Ronald Reagan, an individual who the LEFT hated might I add, Obama is no Reagan. Obama’s signature piece of legislation, Obamacare, which has consumed the first two years of his presidency rather than jobs and the economy, is now realing as the courts have ruled it unconstitutional. There has never been a more leftist, liberal President ever. Is it any wonder why he is so polarizing.

As per the Gallup poll, GWB’s year 4, 5 and 6 were the only presidential years with a higher polarizing gap. However, we have yet to reach Obama’s 4th year to see what the number will be and if America is presented with a year 5 and 6 under Obama … God help us all.

According to Gallup … US Unemployment Up Slightly in January to 9.8%

According to the most recent Gallup poll, US unemployment is up to 9.8% while underemployment rose to 18.9% in January 2011. It is just another indicator that our job situation is far from getting better in the US under President Obama.

Unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, increased to 9.8% at the end of January — up from 9.6% at the end of December, but down from 10.9% a year ago.

Underemployment — the combination of part-time workers wanting full-time work and Gallup’s U.S. unemployment rate — was 18.9% in January, essentially the same as the 19.0% of December. Underemployment now stands one percentage point below the 19.9% of a year ago.

As stated by Blue Crab Boulevard, what happened to the JOBS … JOBS … JOBS that Obama promised.

Obama Offer Spending Freeze as CBO Says this Year’s Budget Deficit to hit $1.5 TRILLION!!!

$1.5 TRILLION!!!

The CBO,  Congressional Budget Office, has predicted that this years federal budget defict will be 1.5 trillion, with a “T”.  This is the forecast and all President Obama offered in last night’s SOTU speech was to “freeze” discretionary spending for the next five years. That’s it, a freeze? Sorry, much more is going to have to be done than a freeze. Let’s see if Obama provides any leadership to do the tough work or is he just worried about reelection.

A new estimate predicts the federal budget deficit will hit almost $1.5 trillion this year, a stunning new record.

The latest figures from the Congressional Budget Office are up from previous estimates because Congress and President Barack Obama teamed up in December on bipartisan legislation to extend Bush-era tax cuts that were due to expire. The new estimates will only add fuel to a raging debate over cutting spending and looming legislation that’s required to allow the government to borrow more money.

As reported at The Hill, the increase in the deficit would bring it to 9.8 percent of gross domestic product. The CBO’s projections assume that current laws remain unchanged.

The CBO’s projections assume that current laws remain unchanged. If the nation continues on its current path, the CBO said, the total national debt will rise from 40 percent of GDP in 2008 to 70 percent by the end of 2011, reaching 77 percent of GDP by 2021.

Other bleak news from our economy after Obama stated that “the state of the nation” was good.

The Commerce Department says sales for all of 2010 totaled 321,000, a drop of 14.4 percent from the 375,000 homes sold in 2009. It was the fifth consecutive year that sales have declined after hitting record highs for the five previous years when the housing market was booming.

Economists say it could be years before sales hit a healthy rate of 600,000 units a year.

Overwhelming Majority of American Voters Say FCC Hand Off Our Internet (54% Oppose – 21% Approve)

Now they want your Internet …

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, an overwhelming majority of Americans are against federal regulation of the Internet and believe that government regulation would be used for a political agenda. Ya think! The only folks that are for the regulation of the Internet are Liberals. Of course these people want to regulate your hopes and dreams as well. Only 21% want the Internet regulated while 54% appose. So much for free speech.

American voters believe free market competition will protect Internet users more than government regulation and fear that regulation will be used to push a political agenda.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 21% of Likely U.S. Voters want the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to regulate the Internet as it does radio and television. Fifty-four percent (54%) are opposed to such regulation, and 25% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey was conducted shortly after the FCC decided on a party line vote to impose so-called “net neutrality” regulations on the Internet world. Republicans and unaffiliated voters overwhelmingly oppose FCC regulation of the Internet, while Democrats are more evenly divided. Those who use the Internet most are most opposed to FCC regulations.

Liberals want to regulate what you eat, what you earn, what you pass on to heirs, what you think, what you listen to and now your web-surfing habits. … basically they want to regulate you from birth to death. So much for your free speech, Big Brother will be watching. Good point made by Wake Up America, its always the 21% that are against everything and as coincidence would have it, 21% = Liberals.

Let’s see how this issue plays in 2012 with so many against net neutrality.

State Run LEFT Media Talking Points … Obama-Pelosi Regime, “Congress the Most Productive Since Great Society”

The LEFTist state run media just cannot help them self doing the bidding for the Obama – Democrat regime …

The MSM find themselves  in a game of political Texas Hold’em and are pot committed with Obama-Pelosi-Reid. While “We the People” say that the 111th Congress is the worst ever with a job approval at 13%; however, the liberal state run media usual suspects have been given their “marching orders” stating that the 111th “Congress the Most Productive Since Great Society”.

Listen to the liberal MSM talking points … hmm, I sense a pattern

Wait until you hear Obama’s whopper of a line that ends this VIDEO … “and it comes on the heals of the most productive two years that we have had in generations.” Most productive, hardly. Most expensive, YES! The state run medias most productive Congress has set a record, as stated at the Gateway Pundit, the 111th Congress added more debt than the first 100 Congresses combined …  $10,429 Per Person!:

More at CNS News

The federal government has accumulated more new debt–$3.22 trillion ($3,220,103,625,307.29)—during the tenure of the 111th Congress than it did during the first 100 Congresses combined, according to official debt figures published by the U.S. Treasury.

That equals $10,429.64 in new debt for each and every one of the 308,745,538 people counted in the United States by the 2010 Census.

Is it any wonder why the American people have given this Congress the lowest job approval ever and booted the Democrats out of power in the 2010 midterm elections in record numbers with a GOP +63 gain.
