CNN Poll: Reversal of Fortune … Republicans Lead Democrats in Generic Ballot 49% to 44%, a 13 Point Swing Since October, 2013
Houston Democrats, you have a problem … Obamacare and Barack Obama are toxic.
In a recent CNN poll, the GOP has captured the lead over Democrats in the Generic ballot by a 49% to 44% margin. This is a 13 point swing from poll results just two months ago in October where Dems had a 50% to 42% lead. My how the mighty have fallen and the Obamacare house of cards and lies have fallen. The remarkable turnaround is a direct result of the Obamacare roll-out and the American people learning that all the promises made bt President Obama and Democrats that you could keep your healthcare if you liked it, that you could keep your doctor and healthcare costs would be reduced, were all lies. Worse yet and infuriating We the People, Obama and Democrats knew it in advance. Making matters worse for Democrats if possible, only 22% polled are enthusiastic about the 2014 midterm elections. A low turnout by an exhausted and disappointed Democrat electorate is hardly good news for their chances to win back the House and possibly losing the Senate.
Democrats have lost their advantage and Republicans now have a slight edge in the battle for control of Congress, according to a new national poll.
A CNN/ORC International survey released Thursday also indicates that President Barack Obama may be dragging down Democratic congressional candidates, and that the 2014 midterm elections are shaping up to be a low-turnout event, with only three in 10 registered voters extremely or very enthusiastic about voting next year.
Two months ago, Democrats held a 50%-42% advantage among registered voters in a generic ballot, which asked respondents to choose between a Democrat or Republican in their congressional district without identifying the candidates. That result came after congressional Republicans appeared to overplay their hand in the bitter fight over the federal government shutdown and the debt ceiling.
But the Democratic lead evaporated, and a CNN poll a month ago indicated the GOP holding a 49%-47% lead. The new survey, conducted in mid-December, indicates Republicans with a 49%-44% edge over the Democrats.
According to Powerline, upon learning of the news of the devastating poll what was the first thing that Democrats did … “Within a few hours after the CNN poll came out, the Democrats’ “Rapid Response” team was emailing the party’s faithful, asking for money.” Because it is never about Democrats taking responsibility for poor policy and a rejection of the American people. It is always about smearing the GOP, blaming the GOP and begging for money. Get ready for a nasty, smear-fest from Democrats because they have nothing left to run on.

Subject: some tough news:
We woke up to some tough news this morning:
Washington (CNN) — Democrats have lost their advantage and Republicans now have a slight edge in the battle for control of Congress, according to a new national poll.
John — The latest Republican assault on Obamacare has proven to be dangerously effective. If we don’t respond to Republican smears with the facts right now, the damage to the Affordable Care Act AND our chances in 2014 could be irreversible.
If this trend remains the same heading into the 2014 midterms … it will be utter carnage for Democrats.
National Security Advisor Susan Rice Does ’60 Minutes’ Interview and Calls Blaming Benghazi on the Mohammed Video a ‘False Controversy’ … What Difference Does it Make, Eh?
Susan Rice just did Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton no favors with her ’60 Minutes’ interview … “FALSE CONTROVERSY”!!!
National Security Adviser Susan Rice appeared on ’60 Minutes’ to do an interview with Leslie Stahl and I have no idea why. Rice did nothing but continue the stonewalling on Benghazi. She continued the Hillary Clinton talking points of “what difference does it make” when she said during last nights interview, “I don’t have time to think about a false controversy.” Doesn’t this pretty much sum up the Obama presidency … get caught in a scandal and instead of coming clean, double down and continue to deny it. Then there was that hard hitting piece of the interview where we found out Susan Rice was a mother. Really CBS, really? But then again it is not like ’60 Minutes’ has clean hands.
The American Spectator reminds us that ’60 Minutes’ mislead the public about the cover-up effort on Benghazi-gate and the effort by the Obama administration to blame the attack on anti-Muslim tapes.
Hmm, Susan Rice says Hillary Clinton didn’t do 5 Sunday morning talk shows because she was to busy lying to the families of those killed at the Benghazi consulate. Just the kind of person that we need president, isn’t it?
Susan Rice: I don’t have time to think about a false controversy. In the midst of all of the swirl about things like talking points, the administration’s been working very, very hard across the globe to review our security of our embassies and our facilities. That’s what we ought to be focused on.
Lesley Stahl: But the questions keep coming. When someone heard that I was going to be talking to you they said, “You have to ask her why Hillary Clinton didn’t do the interview that morning.” Did she, did she smell trouble?
Susan Rice: She had just gone through an incredibly painful and stressful week. Secretary Clinton, as our chief diplomat, had to reach out to the families, had to greet the bodies upon their arrival at Andrews Air Force Base. If I were her, the last thing I would have wanted to do is five Sunday morning talk shows. So I think it’s perfectly understandable–
Lesley Stahl: So when they asked you –
Susan Rice: So when the White House asked me, I agreed to do it.
Lesley Stahl: Do you ever think, “Gee, I wish I hadn’t done that.” You know, if you hadn’t done that, I’d be calling you Madam Secretary of State maybe.
Benghazi-gate will doom Hillary Clinton. She has much explaining to do and it does make a difference Hillary!!!

Gallup Poll: 72% Say Big Goverment is Greatest Threat to America Than Big Business or Big Labor … Total Rejection of Obama, Nanny State Liberalism
Looks like America might just know tyranny when they see it …
According to the latest Gallup poll, an astonishing 72% of Americans now say that “BIG” government is the greatest threat to America as compared with big business and big labor. WOW!!!
The PJ Tatler makes an astute observation that has a lot of merit, see the chart below and notice when the noticeable upward trend began in 2009. Hmm, what happened then? Of course this boost in Americans fear of big government has everything to do with the so-called “Hope & Change” that they voted for in electing Barack Obama. It would appear that the folks at Hot Air noticed the remarkable trajectory as well. He promised transparency and delivered something quite different. What’s the matter America, you have a problem with the IRS enforcing Obamacare? Personally, I think they need to start including the MSM in these polls as well.
America, wake the hell up and make a stand against “BIG GOVERNMENT” liberalism or it will be here to stay. Elections matter, get out and vote against it if you feel strongly against it!!!
Seventy-two percent of Americans say big government is a greater threat to the U.S. in the future than is big business or big labor, a record high in the nearly 50-year history of this question. The prior high for big government was 65% in 1999 and 2000. Big government has always topped big business and big labor, including in the initial asking in 1965, but just 35% named it at that time.
The latest update comes from a Dec. 5-8 poll. Gallup has documented a steady increase in concern about big government since 2009, rising from 55% in March 2009 to 64% in November 2011 and 72% today. This suggests that government policies specific to the period, such as the Affordable Care Act — perhaps coupled with recent revelations of government spying tactics by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden — may be factors.
I would also add this upswing has in part to do with a bunch of gutless, establishment RINO’s who think that it is more important to sell ouch their Republican principles and protecting “We the People” as opposed to retain their power.
Mavericky RINO Senator John McCain Says Republicans Voting Against Budget Deal Lack ‘Intellectual Integrity’ … Um, President Ronald Reagan Would Disagree
So this is what the Republican party has become in 2013, and this sorry, mavericky RINO was nominated the GOP’s presidential candidate in 2008, ever wonder why you lost?
RINO John McCain (R-AZ) called out Republicans who would dare oppose a bad budget deal that does nothing to reduce the out of control spending and the +$17 trillion debt. McCain said that Republicans who vote against the budget deal lack “intellectual integrity”. Really sir, you may want to look up that definition as you are exactly what is wrong with the GOP and the lack of any integrity to stand for the American people, the catastrophic escalating debt and our hero soldiers. So this is about some gutless GOP Senators worried about a government shutdown, rather than the collapse of the USA with unsustainable spending? A bunch of establishment RINO’s are more concerned on how a shut down will effect them, rather than being statesmen and doing the right thing for the American people? UNREAL … sadly we have become a government of, by and for the American People establishment government class.
Spending is increased; however, the budget comes at the expense of our heroes, injured veterans who have given of their body and mind to the defense of this nation to have their benefits reduced. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Civilian workers do not face the same benefit cuts, it is on the backs of our wounded warriors. You should all be ashamed of yourself. So this is what bi-partisanship looks like, agreeing on crap? And a note to the GOP … I am sick of your excuse that you only control the House, these gutless RINO’s would have done the same if they controlled the Senate.
Senate Democrats actually block an amendment to restore veteran benefits by closing illegal immigrant welfare loophole and still these treasonous 12 Republican Senators voted for this rotten bill. So illegal immigrants were just treated better than the men and women who have givens arms, legs, mind body and soul to defend America. That my GOP turncoats would be the definition of a lack of “Intellectual Integrity”. As stated at The Right Wing News, we all know that the Dems prefer illegals to our military vets, but my issue is with the GOP traitors. I expect this kind of crap from the LEFT, I do not expect it from Republicans. And we wonder why establishment Republicans are being primary challenged.
Senate Republicans were unable to stop military pension cuts when Senate Democrats blocked a vote on an amendment to prevent the cuts by closing a welfare loophole for illegal immigrants Tuesday evening.
The two-year budget deal brokered by Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray and House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, would cut military pensions by $6 billion over ten years, leaving some Senate Republicans scrambling to stop the cuts.
The US Senate voted 67-33 with
RONALD REGAN WOULD DISAGREE WITH MC RINO. For all of those who have said that Reagan would not agree with the Tea Party, you have no clue. Reagan left the Democrat party, stating, I did not leave the Democrat party, the party left me. Sadly, the Dutch would probably say the same thing today and leave the GOP.
I want you to listen to what Ronald Reagan said during a 1975 interview with Johnny Carson on ‘The Tonight Show” and his brilliance of what he spoke of then, that is even more applicable today. Reagan had it right, government was not the solution, it was the problem. The US, its people, business and the economy would work gang-busters if the government got out of the way. The VIDEO below is a must watch.
“If government would shut the doors and sneak away for about three weeks, we would never miss them” – Ronald Reagan (1975)
Remember when Ronald Reagan responded to Johnny Carson in 1975 on how do you balance the budget? Reagan said, “balance the budget is like protecting your virtue, you just have to learn to say no.” I guess we now know where Nancy Reagan got her idea against drugs to “Just Say No”.
Robert Reich Says on ABC’s ‘This Week’ … People will “Stop Complaining” About Obamacare Once Enrollment Numbers Increase … Doubt It!!!
The Obama minions continue to spread the Obamacare BS, Defending the indefensible …
Former Clinton Secretary of Labor Robert Reich appeared on ABC’s ‘This Week’ over the weekend and said that the American people will “stop complaining” about Obamacare once the enrollment numbers increase. Really, wanna bet? So that’s what Democrats think that American’s are doing is just complaining? The American people have been lied to, have lost their insurance plans that they liked, have lost their doctors and hospitals, have been forced to buy a product in Obamacare that they do not like, have no idea whether they have coverage even if they did sign up, have higher premiums and higher deductibles and Reich thinks that the complaints will stop.
Huh, I really don’t it. Personally, I believe that it has just begun. Reich calls Obama’s LIE that Obama made that “if you like your healthcare plan you can keep tour healthcare plan, period” just a mistake. Sorry, this was not a mistake, it was an intention fraud of the American people by Obama and Democrats.
Who knew Cokie Roberts would be the voice of reason and rebut Reich’s comment with, “Unless a year from now, people start seeing their employers dropping their health insurance. And then the — you’ll start to have a whole another wave of reaction against it.” Yup, and that will make the 5+ million people who lost their insurance, where Barack Obama promised they could keep it look like child’s play.

ROBERT REICH: Well, justified, not justified. What the president wanted to talk about this week was the fact that there are 350,000, 360,000 enrollees in November, new enrollees in November at the — on the — the healthcare.com.
And, in fact, he can’t talk about that.
I mean the attacks on ObamaCare, on the Affordable Care Act, have been absolutely relentless. It was a terrible mistake for him to say what he did.
But, you know, after a while, you’ve got to look at the fact that we have one of the most important reforms of the health care system of the United States ever enacted.
KARL: Is it going to be seen that way a year from now?
REICH: I think it is, because at the present rate of enrollment, we’re going to have over a million people enrolled by January and people are going to stop complaining.
COKIE ROBERTS: Unless a year from now, people start seeing their employers dropping their health insurance. And then the — you’ll start to have a whole another wave of reaction against it.
Reich may want to read the following AP-GfK Poll.
Americans who already have health insurance are blaming President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul for their rising premiums and deductibles, and overall 3 in 4 say the rollout of coverage for the uninsured has gone poorly.
An Associated Press-GfK poll finds that health care remains politically charged going into next year’s congressional elections. Keeping the refurbished HealthCare.gov website running smoothly is just one of Obama’s challenges, maybe not the biggest.
The poll found a striking level of unease about the law among people who have health insurance and aren’t looking for any more government help. Those are the 85 percent of Americans who the White House says don’t have to be worried about the president’s historic push to expand coverage for the uninsured.
In the survey, nearly half of those with job-based or other private coverage say their policies will be changing next year — mostly for the worse. Nearly 4 in 5 (77 percent) blame the changes on the Affordable Care Act, even though the trend toward leaner coverage predates the law’s passage.
Sixty-nine percent say their premiums will be going up, while 59 percent say annual deductibles or copayments are increasing.
