Amigoe: Tracker dogs arrived in Aruba, Search for Natalee Holloway

After nearly three months since the “credible tip” came in to Aruban authorities, “a delegation of four Dutch police officers and two special trained tracker dogs” arrived in Aruba yesterday to search the sand dunes. The lack of urgency has made many question the credibility of the tip and the motives of the ALE as to why this was not acted upon sooner. Also, there is another team that has still not even reached Aruba yet. What the delay there is, is anyone’s guess.

Amigoe; March 29, 2006: Tracker dogs arrived in Aruba

ARUBA — A delegation of four Dutch police officers and two special trained tracker dogs together with field Public Prosecutor Karin Janssen arrived in Aruba yesterday afternoon. A second delegation is expected to arrive later. The dogs will be used to search a certain area in the sand hills. The suspicion is that Natalee Holloway is (re)buried in that area. Chief of Police Gerold Dompig prepared the investigation in the Netherlands a few weeks ago.

Dissecting the CBS 48 Hours/Gerold Dompig/Aruba Interview; Part I (Paulus Van der Sloot)

So what is Paulus Van der Sloot? Suspect? Person of interest? Victim? According to Chief Deputy Dompig, “he knows more”.

During the CBS, 48 Hours interview Gerold Dompig made some rather interesting comments based upon his theories as to what happened to cause the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. One of the more peculiar comments was Dompig’s reference that Paulus Van der Sloot was involved in the cover up and reburial of Natalee Holloway. Paulus Van der Sloot was arrested for three days this past summer and is presently suing the Aruba for false imprisonment.

Paulus van der Sloot was quickly released on judge’s orders, but the young men remained in custody.

Twitty says she is confident the three boys know what happened to Natalee.

Gerold Dompig has asserted that because of the special privileged nature of the conversations that Joran and his father had, coupled with the fact that Paulus was “a judge in training”, that advice was given and information passed between the two.

Dompig acknowledges Joran was afforded some special legal protections because he was 17 years old at the time of his arrest. Dompig says that did complicate matters. “Yes, that complicated matters seriously because he had more visiting rights with his father — his father being a judge in training was a problem for us because he could give his son certain advice.”

Then Dompig comes out with a bit of a shocker as compared to any of the negative comments that he makes towards the family. Instead this comment is directed towards Paulus Van der Sloot. Dompig accuses the elder Van der Sloot of being knowing more and being involved.

Amigoe: Preliminary investigation Holloway-case almost wound up (Van der Sloots claim 531.000 florins in Damages)

That’s correct Aruba, 531.000 florins in damages. This is what the Van der Sloot family is claiming that they are owed by the government, which in turn is your tax dollars or florins as the case may be. In a case where so many have claimed that the Holloway’s and Twitty’s were some how in it for the money as they have a daughter missing; the Van der Sloots look to cash in for 531.000 florins or approximately 296,648.06 US Dollars.

The family indicated that the compensation for emotional damages as the result of the criminal preliminary investigation on Joran as well as on his father Paul van der Sloot is 350.000 florins and the material damages 144.000, an additional 25.000 florins due to means of coercion, and 11.935 florins in legal costs.

An entire law suit predicated upon a lie. Whether any one believes Joran Van der Sloot’s latest version of the truth or not; the damages that the Van der Sloot family is claiming was brought on them by one of their own family members. Joran Van der Sloot has admitted that he lied to investigators from the outset. Of course many believe he and the Kalpoe brothers continue to lie; however, the initial lies by these suspects created the environment in Aruba whereas Joran and Paulas Van der Sloot were arrested. One would hope that Dutch law has the concept known as mitigation of damages.”

The people of Aruba really need to take a good look at what is happening here and where their tax dollars are about to be spent. Who created the swarm of controversy and the legal problem that Joran Van der Sloot presently finds himself in as he is still a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway? Also, who created the environment that in turn implicated Paulas Van der Sloot in to the disappearance as well?

HINT: IT WAS JORAN’s LIES.

Bon Dia: Court doesn’t want to hand down verdict yet in the case of Mr. Paul van der Sloot vs. the Government

This Court needs to explain to the world how someone who is still a suspect in a potential rape and murder case of Natalee Holloway can actually receive a damage for anything? Just a couple of weeks ago Joran Van der Sloot was denied by a judge to be officially taken off the suspect list. Why should he be able to claim and damages, it has not been determined yet whether he is guilty of alleged crimes. We do know that a judge thought enough to still consider him a suspect.

There is on on going sexual assault/murder investigation case that the Prosecutors are putting together and some how sharing documents in this case is more important.

Wants to obtain documents of penal investigation against Joran
Court doesn’t want to hand down verdict yet in the case of Mr. Paul van der Sloot vs. the Government

ORANJESTAD — The Court from Curaà §ao wishes to obtain more information on the case, especially that of Joran van der Sloot, before making a decision in the case of damages for prejudice brought forward by the van der Sloot family against the Government.

In an exclusive interview with Bon Dia Aruba, attorney Swaen, who is Paul van der Sloot’s lawyer, made it known that the judge from Curaà §ao, who represents the Court, made an interim decision in the case.

Mr. A. Swaen, who represents the five members of the van der Sloot family in the case, explains that after he convinced the judge from Curaà §ao, who represents the Court, that not only Mr. van der Sloot but also the whole family could file for damages for prejudice, on the 13 and 30 of January of 2006 the case was dealt with in Court. The final word was that this month would yield a decision, however it now turns out that there is an interim decision.
