Executive Director of Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Says Opposition to Barack Obama is Racism

When you can’t run on Obama’s record … Use the Race Card.

The Executive Director of the (CBC), Congressional Black Caucus, states that opposition to President Barack Obama is racism. How pathetic that the CBC would play the race card and use that as an excuse for the failed polices of Barack Obama. Angela Rye even went so far as to claim that Conservatives using the term “cool” is racist. Good grief.

Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued that President Obama has struggled during his first term due to racially-motivated opposition from conservatives who dislike having a black president.

“This is probably the toughest presidential term in my lifetime,” Rye said during CSPAN’s Q&A yesterday. “I think that a lot of what the president has experienced is because he’s black. You know, whether it’s questioning his intellect or whether or not he’s Ivy League. It’s always either he’s not educated enough or he’s too educated; or he’s too black or he’s not black enough; he’s too Christian or not Christian enough. There are all these things where he has to walk this very fine line to even be successful.”

She said that “a lot” of conservative opposition is racially-charged, citing the use of the word “cool” in an attack ad launched by Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS superPAC.

Really, questioning Obama’s intellect and education is racism? Because George W. Bush was never called stupid by the Left. When one becomes President, they becomes a target of political opposition. That has been the case with every President, Obama is nothing special. The only difference is that He and his supportive minions cannot take the heat and resort to using the race card.

The CBC has done a great disservice to actual racism. Does racism exist, of course. However, one might say there is just as much reverse racism as there is racism in the traditional sense. One thing is for certain, Americans are not opposed to Obama because of racism, they are against his policies because they are a disaster for families and for America. Oh no, but these lazy thinking individuals would rather use the race card than explain how under Barack Obama there is a record number of people on food stamps, a continued +8% of Americans are unemployed, 18% underemployed, a failed $787 billion stimulus plan, an unwanted Obamacare law, a failed green energy government subsided plan and an out of control $15.7 trillion national debt.

This is not racism, its every Americans right of freedom and liberty to express opposition as afforded by the US Constitution. What is racism … as stated at Sister Toldja, “the real racialist here is the one who sees race behind every tree and bush.”

The Obama ‘Hope & Change’ Years: Median Net Worth of Families Fall 39% from 2007 to 2010

More great economic news for American’s from Barack Obama’s ‘Hope and Change’. According to the Federal Reserve, the median net worth of US families have plunged 39% in the past three years under Barack Obama. But of course we all know who Obama will blame for this. This is yet more proof that the private sector is doing fine. Let’s wait for Obama’s next presser when he says the American family is #DoingJustFine.

The recent recession wiped out nearly two decades of Americans’ wealth, according to government data released Monday, with ­middle-class families bearing the brunt of the decline.

The Federal Reserve said the median net worth of families plunged by 39 percent in just three years, from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010. That puts Americans roughly on par with where they were in 1992.

The data represent one of the most detailed looks at how the economic downturn altered the landscape of family finance. Over a span of three years, Americans watched progress that took almost a generation to accumulate evaporate. The promise of retirement built on the inevitable rise of the stock market proved illusory for most. Homeownership, once heralded as a pathway to wealth, became an albatross.

Wasn’t it Obama in 2008 who stated these are not ‘red” states, these are not “blue” states, this is the United States? The 2008 Obama election team were lauded for their efforts, the 2012 version is nothing more than the ‘Gang who could not shoot straight.’

President Obama’s campaign is calling on supporters to grade its performance amid a difficult early June for his reelection bid against presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney.

“This campaign is ramping up, and the decisions we make right now will shape our path to victory in November,” said campaign manager Jim Messina in an email to supporters sent Saturday night.

“That’s why I want your input, because you are the ones building this campaign on the ground in your community. We want to know from you what’s working, what we could be doing better, what you care about, and what you’re hearing about the President and this campaign,” said Messina.

Hmm, notice you do not see any option to choose about job creation, recovering from the recession, lowering the budget, lowering gas prices or the success of all those jobs from the $787 billion stimulus?

The US Economy & Jobs in the Dumper … Obama Runs Off to Party and Fund Raise with 1960′s Radical Leader Marilyn Katz Who Advocated Attacking Police

MISLEADER: Barack Obama has no idea about jobs or about leadership.

What does President Barack Obama do when a pathetic jobs report is released for may where a paltry 69,000 jobs were created and the unemployment rate ticks up to 8.2% … why go to yet another fund raiser of course. On the foot heels of the disastrous May jobs report, Barack Obama jetted off to Chicago to raise $5 million at fundraisers in Chicago, including one co-hosted by Marilyn Katz. This was just one of the six fund raisers he had scheduled instead of actually acting as President and showing some type of leadership in the wake of a poor jobs report.

So who is Marilyn Katz? According to the New York Times, she’s the person who gave Obama “entry into another activist network: the foot soldiers of the white student and black power movements that helped define Chicago in the 1960s. As a leader of Students for a Democratic Society then, Ms. Katz organized Vietnam War protests, throwing nails in the street to thwart the police.”

The Chicago Tribute also noted that Katz, “once advocated throwing studded nails in front of police cars, back in the SDS days when the group was alleged to have thrown cellophane bags full of human excrement at cops and cans of urine and golf balls impaled with nails.”

Also worth noting is that Katz, of course, is also a friend of unrepentant domestic terrorist — and Obama pal – Bill Ayers. (Apparently, donating money to Obama’s campaign is the best way for terrorists to stay off his “kill list”?)

When you begin to see who Obama hung around with and who he considered his peers, does it really surprise anyone what disarray that the United States is presently in? After reading Katz’ above I tend to agree with the PJ Tatler, she is a perfect candidate for Obama’s next Medal of Freedom recipient. Obama is no leader, what he brought to the office of the Presidency was being a community agitator and that is exactly what he has done.

The Lonely Conservative provides us with a nice factoid of Ronald Regan, a President who was a true leader.

Oh, and here’s a fun fact: On this date in 1984 when President Reagan was running for reelection, he wasn’t attending fundraisers. He was in Western Europe promoting peace during the Cold War. What a difference.

Obamanomics: Disastrous May Jobs Report … Unemployment Goes Up to 8.2%, Only a Meager 69,000 Jobs Created

EPIC OBMAMANOMICS FAILURE: Let’s see President Barack Obama and his reelection minions spin their way out of these disastrous May 2012 jobs numbers. How much longer is any American going to believe that Obama has a clue about fixing the economy? Face it, Obama has no idea how to fix it and his far left/socialist ideology is only harming it.

The Unemployment number for May 2012 is up to 8.2%.  The Obama economy is week and getting weaker. Only 69,000 jobs were crated in May, far less than what was expected. Economist estimated that 158,000 new positions would be created in May, missed it by that much. Making matters worse, previous months were revised … employers added 49,000 fewer jobs than previously estimated in March and April. April’s number of 115,000 new jobs added was revised down to 77,000. Stocks plunge on the terrible jobs news of the Obama job recovery, or lack thereof.

U.S. employers created 69,000 jobs in May, the fewest in a year, and the unemployment rate ticked up. The dismal jobs figures could fan fears that the economy is sputtering.

The Labor Department also says the economy created far fewer jobs in the previous two months than first thought. It revised those figures down to show 49,000 fewer jobs created. The unemployment rate rose to 8.2 percent from 8.1 percent in April, the first increase in 11 months.

The unemployment rate that counts discouraged workers rose as well, swelling to 14.8 percent form 14.5 percent in April.
