Barack Obama Speech … Washington Took Its Eye Off Economy With “Distractions” and “Phony Scandals”

NO HE DIDN’T … BARACK OBAMA REFERRED TO DISTRACTIONS IN WASHINGTON AS PHONY SCANDALS!!!

Is Obama done speaking yet … Good grief this might have been one of the worst, rambling speeches I have ever heard. President Barack Obama’s speech on the economy was touted as being an important speech to help the economy and job growth. Instead, all we got from the “community agitator” was the same old tired economic agenda from Obama, blame Republicans and a new smear … calling the scandals that have plagued the Obama White House, “phoney scandals”. Even the WAPO had to print that Barack Obama’s new economic plan was the same as his old plan. One that has failed, provided more debt to the United States and has given us the worst economic post recession job growth period in history. What was the point of this speech? It certainly could not have been to bring Republicans and Democrats together to solve the problems of a floundering US economy. Phony scandals? Seriously, Barack Obama thinks the death of border agent Brina Terry as a result of Fast & Furious is a phony scandal? Obama thinks that the death of four Americans in Benghazi, including Ambassador Chris Stevens a phony scandal when it was the Obama WH that put forth a false and phony narrative that the terror attack was a result of a video? Who scrubbed the Benghazi talking points Mr. President? And the targeting of Conservative and Tea Party organizations by the IRS that was said to be only a couple of rogue agents and has now spread to many offices, Washington, DC and the White House counsel, that is a phony scandal as well? Wasn’t it President Obama who called this outrageous behavior? Now it is a phony scandal as it gets closer and closer to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. What about the going after of AP reports and James Rosen of Fox News, those were phony scandals as well?

What Obama is counting on: Hey America, you bough my BS for 5 years and 2 elections … what’s another 1200 days?

You could be forgiven if you thought you had heard President Obama’s speech on the economy today before. Because you have.  For most of the 2012 campaign. (Don’t trust us, read Obama’s 2012 acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.)

Things are getting better in areas like private sector job creation, home construction, energy independence and health care. But, the country isn’t all the way back yet. Republicans are looking out for the wealthiest Americans at the expense of the middle class. Times need to change.

“With an endless parade of distraction, political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball,” Obama told a crowd at Knox College in Illinois this afternoon. “And I am here to say this needs to stop.” Later in the speech, Obama vowed: “I will not allow gridlock, inaction or willful indifferences to get in our way.”

That’s a nice rhetorical flourish and there are, without doubt, some things that Obama can make happen in regards the economy via executive order. But, to make any major progress — a grand bargain on debt and spending for example — President Obama needs Congress, including the House that remained in GOP hands in 2012 despite his stronger-than-expected victory on the same day.

Speaker of the House John Boehner ripped the president for his speech, Obama speech ‘an Easter Egg with no candy’. Personally I thing my comparison would have been a bit more harsh than providing the illusions of a fluffy bunny. Americans are suffering and all people should be sick and tired of a class warfare president who is more intent on making political points than helping “We the People”. Obama’s agenda has failed and if we give this failure any more lip service, the USA will look like Detroit.

CBS News Poll: More Americans Than ever want Obamacare Repealed … Obama’s Answer, Spend $700 Million on “Affordable” Healthcare Marketing

Nancy Pelosi said, they had to pass the bill, in order to find out what is in it. However, as Americans are finding out  what is in Obamacare, the more they want the law completely repealed.

A new CBS poll finds that more Americans than ever want Obamacare repealed. Thirty-nine percent of Americans want the so-called “affordable” healthcare law repealed as Obamacare is crumbling before our very eyes. Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation is an unmitigated disaster. Not only does the law not do what it was promised, allow you to keep your own doctors and insurance if you want, it is also coming in much more costly than originally claimed. Just how bad is Obamacare? Even Barack Obama has asked for the employer mandate to be delayed until 2015 because it is not ready to be implemented, as well has Obama does not want to pain of Obamacare to affect Democrats in the 2014 midterm elections. Also, Obamacare is a fiasco and it has not yet been fully implemented, imagine what happens when it is?

So what is Obama’s reaction to his disastrous healthcare plan where more and more people want it repealed, why wasting the tax payers money and spending $700 million on a marketing campaign for Obamacare.  That is correct, the “Affordable” healthcare law is in need of $700 million for telling Americans who want to kill this law, that it’s really a good thing. You just can’t make this stuff up. Talk about the money pit. There has never been a law that has been more marketed than Obamacare and yet Barack Obama feels the need to tell people about how great his joke of a healthcare plan really is? It is bad enough that Democrats rammed this law down the throats of Americans, but not they want to add insult to injury and waste more of the tax payers money are marketing this  boondoggle!

A new CBS News poll finds more Americans than ever want the Affordable Care Act repealed.

According to the poll, 36 percent of Americans want Congress to expand or keep the health care law while 39 percent want Congress to repeal it – the highest percentage seen in CBS News polls. The poll also found a majority of Americans – 54 percent – disapprove of the health care law, 36 percent of Americans approve of it and 10 percent said they don’t know about it.

The health care law is a chronic issue for the White House, CBS News political director John Dickerson said on “CBS This Morning.” “There’s an operational part to this, which is that the White House has got to get people to sign up for these health exchanges, particularly younger, healthier Americans, and so they are tactically running a campaign much like the presidential campaign, reaching out, using the techniques of that campaign to get younger people to sign up for these health exchanges.”

Disapproval has not cracked 50 percent in other public polling. A Washington Post/ABC News poll released Tuesday found a closer divide — 49 percent disapproval, compared with 42 percent approval.

The White House is hoping public attitudes will turn around as the law’s major provisions take effect early next year.

Successful implementation, though, will depend largely on how many people — especially young, healthy people — enroll in the law’s new coverage options. And sagging approval ratings could make the enrollment push more difficult.

REALLY, OBAMA IS STILL TRYING TO SELL OBAMACARE AS A GOOD THING?

Good grief, a desperate Barack Obama now enlists celebrities to pitch the nightmare called Obamacare. The NFL have previously sacked Obama and HHS Secretary Sebelius telling them to take a hike when it came to pitching the boondoggle Obamacare by its athletes. Democrat politicians, Obama and his minions have failed miserably to get the public to view the health car plan favorably. Over time, Obama’s signature piece of legislation has become more and more unpopular as ‘We the People” come to understand what is in the plan. Barack Obama refuses to understand the obvious. All the marketing in the world is not going to change the fact that Obamacare is an unpopular, job killing, insurance premium raising, unmitigated nightmare. But that does not stop this president from thinking that if a celeb like Bon Jovi shills Obamacare, that will change people’s minds. Talk about healthcare on a prayer.

President Barack Obama, hoping to pitch his signature health care law to younger Americans, will get some help from a cadre of Hollywood stars who have volunteered to help promote Obamacare’s insurance exchanges that open on October 1.

At a meeting at the White House Monday, a group that included singer Jennifer Hudson and actors Kal Penn and Amy Poehler heard Obama extol the benefits his health care law offers young people, whose participation in the exchanges is seen as essential for their long-term viability.

“The President stopped by the meeting to engage artists who expressed an interest in helping to educate the public about the benefits of the health law,” a White House official said. “The reach of these national stars spreads beyond the beltway to fans of their television shows, movies, and music – and the power of these artists to speak through social media is especially critical.”

Obamacare can only exists if millions of healthy young people get insurance and basically pay for the health care of the more sick and elderly. So Obama’s plan is to con this demographic into thinking that Obamacare is cool and will market to them by using celebs. I do not know which is worse. the plan or that the youth would be so foolish to fall for such a ruse. More on the the full court marketing blitz on the youth from Hot Air. Might we remind everyone, these are the very people who bought Obama’s message hook, line and sinker and now find themselves unemployed and living in their parents basement.

Yes, by all means, super-cool TV stars and musicians, tell the many young people still living at home on their parents’ couches, and/or struggling to begin their careers or to find more than merely part time work, why they should pay thousands more dollars for a health care plan they neither want nor need. Sounds awesome.

It is absolutely not a secret that ObamaCare needs millions of young, healthy people with relatively few and inexpensive health care needs to pay for the program’s ballooning costs and subsidize others’ insurance, and it sounds like the administration is looking to get their groove back with some help from his famous pop-culture allies. Even Unions are Now Against Obamacare … Due to Its ‘Destructive Consequences’

Just how bad is Obamacare, even the unions are turning against it as they realize the “destructive consequences” of Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation as president. Unions are learning that  Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is not only not that affordable, it basically does not insure individuals. This is what happens when you blindly follow some one and their agenda without having a clue as to what is written into the law, or the law of unintended or intended circumstance.

The laborers union has added to organized labor’s drumbeat of dissatisfaction with the Affordable Care Act.

In a letter sent to President Barack  Obama on Thursday, Laborers International Union of North America President Terry O’Sullivan wrote that the law has “destructive consequences” for the types of health plans that cover millions of unionized construction workers and their family members.

The letter follows a separate one written last week by the heads of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the United Food and Commercial Workers and Unite Here, expressing similar concerns to Congress’s top Democrats, Sen. Harry Reid and Rep. Nancy Pelosi. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers took out print ads raising alarms about the law last week as well.

Mr. O’Sullivan concluded: “Approximately 3 million laborers, retirees, and their families now face the very real prospect of losing their health benefits. This, I must remind you, was something that you promised would not happen.”

Obamacare is literally unraveling before our very eyes and it could not happen to a worse law. Just a week ago, Barack Obama stated that the employer mandate would be delayed until 2015, even though he did not have the Constitutional authority to do so. The House then voted this week to delay the employee and individual mandate for a year.   Just recently, HHS came out and stated that Obamacare does not guarantee that you can keep your doctor, even though President Barack Obama made a promise to the America people that you could when he was promoting the boondoggle.

The more and more the “We the People” learn was its in Obamacare and is damaging affects, the more the polls go negative. In a recent FOX poll, 66% of Americans are worried about their healthcare under Obamacare. Another poll finds that Obamacare is already a job killer.

HHS Admits You Might Not Be Able to Keep Your Doctor Under Obamacare … But Obama Promised We Could, Guess What, He Lied!

Barack Obama, the Liar in Chief: Remember when President Barack Obama made the promise to the American people that under Obamacare they could keep their own doctors? Guess what, here is a shock, HE LIED!

Remember when Barack Obama made the following promises to the American people when it came to Obamacare: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor PERIOD! If you like your health care plan you will be able to keep your healthcare plan PERIOD! No one will take it away, no matter what!” Not so fast. This is the lie that Obama and his Democrat minions pushed to “We the People” and then passed the Obamacare law without one single Republican vote in the Senate or House. They knew they could not guarantee this promise at the time and said it anyhow to humor an apathetic public. Obamacare is a complete nightmare and is falling apart in front of our very eyes as it implodes upon the lies that it was built on.

As Obamacare was being pushed through Congress in 2010, the Obama administration and its allies were unequivocal in two claims: If you like your doctor and you like your current health care plan, you can keep them both.  HHS Secretary Kathleen Sibelius and then-House speaker Nancy Pelosi backed the president fully in this regard. The White House even went so far as to post a “Health Insurance Reform Reality Check” on its website, where “Linda Douglass of the White House Office of Health Reform debunks the myth that reform will force you out of your current insurance plan or force you to change doctors.”  President Obama upped the ante, putting the promise in the form of a “guarantee”:

THE PRESIDENT: Here is a guarantee that I’ve made. If you have insurance that you like, then you will be able to keep that insurance. If you’ve got a doctor that you like, you will be able to keep your doctor. Nobody is trying to change what works in the system. We are trying to change what doesn’t work in the system.

While there has been sniping back and forth between the administration and its detractors about the real-world application and implementation of Obamacare, the new Healthcare.gov website has taken some of the mystery out of the controversy.  And President Obama and his administration do not fare well in this latest “reality check.”  Among the questions that HHS recently added to the website: “Can I keep my own doctor?“:

“Depending on the plan you choose in the Marketplace, you may be able to keep your current doctor.”  The bottom line is that Obamacare guarantees neither. Doctors may be only available through certain networks, just as in the current system.  And only plans that existed in their current form on March 23, 2010, are even eligible to be “kept.” The vast majority of plans will be new, subject to a raft of new regulations, requirements, and restrictions.

So what happened to Obama’s promise that we could keep our doctor and healthcare if we wanted to? Remember this Obama lie as well when he stated that your insurance premiums would go down by 3000% and your employer would be able to give you a raise? Down? If Obama’s lips are moving, you know he is lying. Insurance premiums have skyrocketed because of Obamacare.
