RUT-ROH, Who Do You Wish was in the White House, Ohio: Bush 50%, Obama 42%
The real Barack Hussein Obama, the Hope & Change that Americans never wanted …
So do you miss GWB yet? According to a recent poll it appears that the answer is a resounding YES. By a 50% to 42% margin, Ohio voters wished that GWB was in the White House rather than Barack Obama. Ouch, that’s going to leave a mark. Just how toxic has Barack Obama become to the Democrat party?
So what happened, Don Suber states it best … “the unknown became the known” and no one liked it or wanted it. America, do your research next time, sometimes a frog, is just a frog and not a fairy tale prince that the MSM would like you to believe.
From Tom Jensen at Public Policy Polling on Tuesday: “We’ll start rolling out our Ohio poll results tomorrow but there’s one finding on the poll that pretty much sums it up: by a 50-42 margin voters there say they’d rather have George W. Bush in the White House right now than Barack Obama.”

MSM Liberal Bias … Obama & Democrats Got 88% of 2008 Contributions from TV Execs, Writers & Reporters
Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democratic candidates and campaign committees in 2008, according to an analysis by The Examiner of data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics.
The Democratic total of $1,020,816 was given by 1,160 employees of the three major broadcast television networks, with an average contribution of $880.
By contrast, only 193 of the employees contributed to Republican candidates and campaign committees, for a total of $142,863. The average Republican contribution was $744.
Disclosure of the heavily Democratic contributions by influential employees of the three major broadcast networks follows on the heels of controversy last week when it was learned that media baron Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. contributed $1 million to the Republican Governors Association.
One would think that the MSM has one of the biggest conflicts of interest in history. Is it any wonder why they do not cover Obama as they did GWB? If the MSM actually fairly covered the Obama White House and protected We the People, Barack Obama’s approval ratings would be in the ’20′s.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Obama … Questions on Iraq, nah … “we are buying shrimp”
Talk about the Obama Presidency in a microcosm …
Obama to reporter, don’t bother me with important, critical world events … can’t you see I am on vacation buying shrimp. It turns out Obama cannot chew gum and walk at the same time.
So much for those working vacations that the MSM likes to say that President Obama does. When asked the other day while he was on his 6th vacation of the year and after his countless number rounds of golf, the press asked “The once Chosen One” a question regarding Iraq and the increase of violence there after he had declared “mission accomplished” and had the majority of US forces leave.
Obama’s response, “We’re buying shrimp guys.”
Were not we told that Barack Obama could “walk and chew gum at the same time?” It would seem that Obama cannot buy Shrimp and answer a reporters question at the same time. “We are buying shrimp” … words of wisdom from out “Golfer” in Chief. Just curious, did the shrimp come from the Gulf Coast?
Wonder if Obama got some shrimin’ tips from Bubba?
Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin’, shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that’s about it.

Let’s Make One Thing Perfectly Clear … Barack Hussein Obama is Not Ronald Reagan
Let’s just make one thing perfectly clear …. BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, YOU ARE NO RONALD WILSON REAGAN!
The MSM just will not stop making excuses, comparisons or carrying the water for Barack Hussein Obama. Their constant reference that Obama is Lincolnesque or comparable to Ronald Reagan is laughable. Obama is neither the “Great Communicator” nor is he the fantastic orator that the MSM makes him out to be. However, the WAPO once again feels the need to justify and make excuses for Barack Obama, ‘Reagan’s first term offers measuring stick for Obama’.
“Government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem”. (Ronald Reagan)
Obama’s presidency has looked like Reagan’s in some broad ways. Both men succeeded unpopular presidents of the opposite party. Both offered big and bold plans — Reagan with massive tax cuts, Obama with a massive stimulus package and national health care — that set the country in a new direction. Reagan’s goal was to shrink government. Obama’s efforts have enlarged government.
Both presidents were forced by events that preceded their elections to contend with economies in serious trouble. Both saw the unemployment rate rise sharply during their first two years in office — under Reagan, the rate hit 10.8 percent by November 1982 — and both saw their approval ratings decline as the numbers of jobless grew.
For much of this year, Obama and his team have taken some solace from the fact that Reagan’s approval ratings were even lower at comparable points in his presidency. That is no longer the case. In the past week, Obama has hit a new low in his approval rating, according to Gallup’s daily tracking. It now stands at 42 percent, virtually identical to Reagan’s in August 1982. (Both Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter dipped below 40 percent during their second year in office.)
Let’s get a couple thing straight that the MSM refuses to acknowledge. One, Reagan became President following Jimmy Carter with double digit, unemployment, inflation and interest rates. Two, gas prices were through the roof as odd-even rationing existed. Three, the Soviet Union was in Afghanistan and the hostages were just released from Iran. Four and most importantly, Democrats controlled the House of Representatives during Reagan’s first term in office. Also do not forget what happened when Reagan was sworn into office, the US hostages being held captive in Iran were formally released into United States custody the following day, just minutes after the new American president Ronald Reagan was sworn in.
However, here are the biggest differences between the two Presidents where Obama should never be referenced in the same sentence as Ronald Wilson Reagan. Just because a President is a disaster in the polls does not make them Reagan-like.
- Ronald Reagan was trusted by the American people, Barack Hussein Obama is not.
- Ronald Reagan spoke of promise and a brighter future and that America was a “shining city on the hill”. Obama does nothing but makes apologies for America.
- Reagan empowered people, Obama provides them record food stamps.
- Reagan did what he said and said what he did, Obama through a lack of promised transparency shoved unpopular policies and programs like the stimulus and Obamacare down the throats of Americans.
- Reagan spoke directly and connected with the American people, Obama lectures the American people.
- Reagan brought people together and created the coalition of the “Reagan Democrats”, Obama has become the most polarizing President in history.
- Reagan was a capitalist, Obama is a big government socialist.
How can you compare two President like Obama and Reagan when they are polar-opposites? Obama is in fact the anti-Reagan. Reagan believed in cutting taxes which lead to one of the greatest economic prosperous periods ever. Obama believe in government spending, raising taxes and being anti-business. We are comparing the two how again?
Also and most importantly, Ronald Regan believed that government was the problem, not the solution. Obama believes that “big government” and the nanny state is the answer to all of societies ills.
Make no mistake about it, Obama, you are no Ronald Reagan, you are not even close. Obama’s Presidency will go down as one of the worst in US history, rivaling Carter’s. We can only hope that we have a country left to fix and that we can undo the damage that Obama and his extremist Democrats have brought upon the USA.

Cheerleader VP Joe Biden States, “The Reports of the Death of the Democratic Party have been Greatly Exaggerated”
Hey Joe and the Democrats … It’s the ECONOMY stupid!
Vice President and head Democrat cheerleader Joe Biden said on Friday to his fellow Democrats at the Democratic National Committee gathering at Union Station in St. Louis, MO that, ” the death of the Democratic Party have been greatly exaggerated.” Biden claimed that the day after the 2010 midterm elections that Democrats would still control the US House and Senate. Biden also stated, “If it weren’t illegal, I’d make book on it.”
What do you expect me to say … “I don’t think he [Obama] is ready and the Presidency is something that lends itself to on the job training”.
Wanna bet Joe? But then again, what is Biden going to tell Democrats, the truth? Biden certainly is not going to ask Democrats to look at the Congressional Generic Ballot polls and tell them that they are a record 12 points behind Republicans. Hey Joe, have you taken a look at your old Senate seat in Delaware lately, Republican Mike Castle is up 49% to 37% over Democrat Chris Coons. I guess Democrats are also supposed to disregard all of the polls as well. The polls that are a reflection of the American voter.
Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. admonished Democrats on Friday to shake away their pessimism about the fall elections, arguing that the prospect of historic losses would be minimized because the Republican Party has been overtaken by extreme candidates and stale ideas.
Hmm, Biden claims Republicans have been taken over by extremists. Maybe Biden would like to take a good look at some real extremists? So is the American voting public extremists too who are against Obamacare, out fo control spending and the manner in how Obama and the Democrats controlled Congress have handled the economy?
“The reports of the death of the Democratic Party have been greatly exaggerated,”Mr. Biden said, paraphrasing Mark Twain as he addressed party leaders here. “The day after the election, there will be a Democratic majority in the House and a Democratic majority in the Senate. If it weren’t illegal, I’d make book on it.”
As the Democratic National Committee gathered for its summer meeting at Union Station in St. Louis, anxiety marked a stark change for a party that had reveled in back-to-back election cycles that produced control of Congress and the White House. Democrats acknowledged the difficult political climate, but they said that their candidates could benefit from Republican shortcomings.
As No Quarter reminds us, professional political predictor extraordinaire Charlie Cook has Democrats loosing at least 35 to 45 seats in the US House of Representatives. All signs point to a GOP take over of the House and Democrats are not just going to lose seats because that is what happens to the party in control in an off year election. This is historic as never has a Party in control of the Presidency, House and Senate so defied the will of the people. The only reason why Democrats might retain the US Senate is to win 10 seats is unheard of and EPIC. Look for Republicans to also gain a majority of the Governorships in 2010.
