No You Can’t Keep Your Insurance or Your Doctor If You Like Them … Another Obamacare Loser, Stage-4 Gallbladder Cancer Victim Edie Littlefield Sunby (WH Turns to Twitter Smear Campaign)

Add  Edie Littlefield Sunby to the list of losers of Obamacare … Barack Obama knowingly lied and people will die.

Over and over and over, Barack Obama made the following  promise to the American people to get Obamacare passed: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period! If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. period!  No one will take it away, no matter what.”

Really, you might want to read the tragic and heart-breaking story of Edie Littlefield Sunby, a state-4 gallbladder cancer patient who has become a victim of Obamacare and the lies that were spewed to pass the failed law. As reported in the Wall Street Journal, thanks to Obamacare Edie Littlefield Sunby will lose her healthcare insurance and her doctors. Lies have consequences, especially when Obama and Democrats knew that millions would lose their insurance because of Obamacare. Thanks Democrats as you own this one 100% as the not-so affordable care act was passed with not one GOP vote.

Everyone now is clamoring about Affordable Care Act winners and losers. I am one of the losers.

My grievance is not political; all my energies are directed to enjoying life and staying alive, and I have no time for politics. For almost seven years I have fought and survived stage-4 gallbladder cancer, with a five-year survival rate of less than 2% after diagnosis. I am a determined fighter and extremely lucky. But this luck may have just run out: My affordable, lifesaving medical insurance policy has been canceled effective Dec. 31.

My choice is to get coverage through the government health exchange and lose access to my cancer doctors, or pay much more for insurance outside the exchange (the quotes average 40% to 50% more) for the privilege of starting over with an unfamiliar insurance company and impaired benefits.

Countless hours searching for non-exchange plans have uncovered nothing that compares well with my existing coverage. But the greatest source of frustration is Covered California, the state’s Affordable Care Act health-insurance exchange and, by some reports, one of the best such exchanges in the country. After four weeks of researching plans on the website, talking directly to government exchange counselors, insurance companies and medical providers, my insurance broker and I are as confused as ever. Time is running out and we still don’t have a clue how to best proceed.

What happened to the president’s promise, “You can keep your health plan”? Or to the promise that “You can keep your doctor”? Thanks to the law, I have been forced to give up a world-class health plan. The exchange would force me to give up a world-class physician.

For a cancer patient, medical coverage is a matter of life and death. Take away people’s ability to control their medical-coverage choices and they may die. I guess that’s a highly effective way to control medical costs. Perhaps that’s the point.

Yup, no death panels here, eh? WAKE UP AMERICA … Obamacare has never been about healthcare, it is about controlling your lives from birth to death.

Hmm, I guess Obama was correct when he told his peeps that he was “really good at killing people.”

Virginia Democrat Calling For Forcing Doctors To Accept Medicare And Medicaid Patients

Virginia Democrats are calling the forcing of all doctors to accept Medicare and Medicaid. Unbelievable, but this is what we get these days from a ‘Gestapo-like’ government that believes in forcing people into doing things when it comes to healthcare. Remember when “We the People” thought it was unheard of to think that the Obama regime could force Americans to buy insurance? Currently physicians have the option of accepting Medicare and/or Medicaid patients. Many physicians do not because of the low reimbursement rate, especially with Medicaid. Imagine being paid $12 for an office visit? It is actually for profitable to see a Medicaid patient for free. However, Democrats now want to force doctors to accept government healthcare. What has happened to this country? These people will not be happy until they destroy the healthcare system in this country and force a single payer system upon us.

Kathleen Murphy, Democrat running for the House of Delegates against Barbara Comstock, telling a forum in Great Falls that she believes it should law to force doctors to accept Medicare and Medicaid patients.  Forced by government decree, mind you.  A birdie sent me this:

FYI last night at the Great Falls Grange debate, Democrat delegate candidate Kathleen Murphy said that since many doctors are not accepting medicaid and medicare patients, she advocates making it a legal requirement for those people to be accepted.

She did not recognize that the payments are inadequate to cover the doctors’ costs.  She also did not recognize there is a shortage of over 45,000 physicians now and that it is forecast to be 90,000 in a few years.

Democrats appear to want to make physicians slaves of the state, but Democrats don’t admit they would just drive more doctors out of practice into retirement and other occupations.  The Obamacare law and regulations are causing millions of people to lose their health insurance, drop many doctors and hospitals. The HHS internal forecast is 93 million Americans would lose their health insurance due to the Obamacare law and rules about adequacy of insurance. (more)

As discussed at Legal Insurrection, one of the consequences of Obamacare is the millions of individuals going to be enroll in Medicaid. So now there will be an even greater percentage of the healthcare pool where healthcare reimbursements do not cover costs.

The great Obamacare reform is turning into the great thrust of tens of millions of people onto Medicaid.

The problem is, fewer and fewer doctors are willing to take Medicaid patients because the reimbursements are so low.

I have met numerous doctors who tell me they either refuse Medicaid patients or restrict them because the reimbursements do not cover their costs.  They also double and triple book, because so many Medicaid patients who make appointments don’t show up.  As to Medicare the payments currently are bearable, but only because private insurance payments for other patients make up the shortfall.

Increasingly, doctors are abandoning the government payment train wreck, and going all cash or some hybrid.  This all was foreseeable and was foreseen.

Pew Research Poll, The Failure of Barack Obama to Black America: Only 26% Say the Situation of Black People in US is Better Now Than It was 5 Years Ago

Barack Obama – The Phony President: Wasn’t Barack Obama supposed to be the answer for Blacks Americans … not even close, he is not the one they were waiting for.

Wasn’t everything supposed to change for blacks in America when Barack Obama was elected in 2008? Obama was supposed to part the seas, “The One” was supposed to help blacks because they helped him get elected. They were no loner going to have to worry about paying for their “gas and  mortgage” (VIDEO) because their Savior, the Obamamessiah was President. So after having elected the first black president, how is it that only 26% of black America think that their situation is better today than it was five years ago before “The One” was elected? That is correct, according to a PEW Research poll, only 26% of blacks say that their situation is better today than before Obama was elected. That is down from 39% in 2009 when they fell for the “Hope & Change” nonsense, hook, line and sinker.

Just the other day it was reported that under Obama, only the top 5% have benefited. The remaining 95% have not and are still feeling the effects of a recession. Where do you think a majority of minorities fall in the 5%-95% range?

The sense of progress black Americans felt in 2009, on the heels of Barack Obama’s historic election as president, seems to have reversed itself. Today, only about one-in-four (26%) say the situation of black people in this country is better now than it was five years ago, down sharply from 39% who said this in 2009. Nearly as many (21%) say the situation of black people is worse today, and 51% say it’s about the same.

The positive feelings registered in 2009 among blacks represented one of the peaks in this long-term trend. Even in the face of the Great Recession, blacks seemed buoyed by the promise of an Obama presidency. This poll does not provide evidence as to what caused the downward shift in opinions about black progress. However, the fading glow of Obama’s first term and the lingering effects of the recession are likely to have been important factors. [...]

In the most recent Pew Research survey, the share of both whites and blacks who see short-term progress for black Americans is down significantly from the 2009 levels. For whites, the current share (35%) saying the situation of African Americans is better than it was five years ago is similar to what it was in 2007 and lower than it had been in the mid-1980s and 1990s. For blacks, the share saying blacks are better off today (26%) has returned to roughly where it was prior to Obama’s election.

Barack Obama was not the one they had been waiting for, far from it. Obama has made promises and delivered on nothing except maybe make minorities even more dependent on government. If a white president was in office under these circumstances there would be marches in the streets and cries of discrimination. Seriously folks, how did Obama get reelected and why? If blacks think they are worse off than they were before his election in 2008, why would blacks  have voted for Obama at a rate of +90%?

What is truly amazing is that under a black president just how bad the perception is among blacks that their situation is terrible. Let’s face it Obama has been a total failure for blacks in America. Black unemployment is high, teen blacks unemployment is through the roof, and food stamps are given out like candy. Black unemployment under Obama is now once again double that of whites. Blacks have not made strides under Obama, they have regressed. Obama has done nothing economically for them, because he has done nothing for America.

Black adults are much more likely than whites to say the average black person is worse off financially than the average white person (59% vs. 39%). Whites, meanwhile, are more likely than blacks to say the average black person is about as well off as the average white person (43% vs. 27%).

Enter beach bum Jason Greenslate and his bilking of the food stamp program so that he can eat sushi and lobster. This individual is just one of the many that are abusing the system at the expense of hard working Americans.

“Wake up, go down to the beach, hang out with my friends, hit on some chicks, start drinking,” Greenslate told John Roberts of Fox News for “The Great Food Stamp Binge” special Friday.

With food stamp participation having increased at an annual rate of roughly 13 percent since 2008—costing taxpayers nearly $80 million last year, Red Alert Politics said—the likes of Greenslate aren’t anomalies.

Who knew that this dues actual hero was Sean Penn Jeff Spiccoli of Fast Times at Ridgemont High fame? When asked, why don’t you get a job Spicoli, his response was, what for? Judge Reinhold responded, “you need money”. Then comes the money line, Spicoli says, “All I need is some tasty waves, cool buzz and I’m fine”. I think Jason Greenslate said the exact same thing. The only thing we can hope for is that individuals like Greenslate are too wasted to vote.

Ann Coulter Says, “If the GOP is this Stupid [on Illegal Immigration], It Deserves to Die”

Ann has a point, I would probably tear up my card …

Ann Coulter pens in an article on Ann Coulter.com, ”If  the GOP is this Stupid, It Deserves to Die.” Her comments are in reference to the Republicans ridiculous stance on Hispanics, illegal immigration and amnesty. The targets the GOP Ship of Fools of Four, Sens. Kelly Ayotte, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio. Amnesty for illegals will destroy the Republican party, an Democrats are wetting themselves with joy that they have created this canard. As Ann states, even if Mitt Romney had won 70% of the Hispanic vote in 2012, he still would have lost. No Republican presidential candidate in at least 50 years has won even half of the Hispanic vote. So how do Republicans think this is a political winner for them? In essence what the “Ship of fools of 4″ is proposing is to piss off the Republican base and allow amnesty first, never protect the border and just allow an influx of low skilled illegals and their families into a country that already in in debt, has record number of Americans on unemployment, on Food Stamps and disability. Good grief, this is a recipe to make the United States, Mexico. How on earth can Republicans thing that providing amnesty to people where a large majority will become dependent on government is good for them, or better yet and more important, good for America?

I have to admit, if the GOP goes for this amnesty first, protect the border whenever and allow 11-30,000,000 illegals and their extended this families into the US, not only will the GOP die, so will America. That many low income, low skilled individuals can do nothing for the United States except destroy it. Rubio talks about the extra tax revenue. Is this man on crack? What tax revenue, 47% of Americans already do not pay taxes and many in this category actually get money back from the federal government in the formed of “earned income tax credits”. Where do you think the majority of low skilled illegals will fall in the tax payer structure of the US? Has everyone forgot the rule of law in all of this? Hell, if we are going to just reward illegals, why don’t we provide amnesty to every one else in the United States who has broken the law? Seriously, amnesty for all individuals who have broke any law of the United States, forgive them of their crimes whether it be assault, robbery, drugs, rape, child molesters, white collar crime, etc. Sound insane? Then, why are politicians playing favorites as to what crimes they want to enforce and other that they do not?

Democrats terrify Hispanics into thinking they’ll be lynched if they vote for Republicans, and then turn around and taunt Republicans for not winning a majority of the Hispanic vote.

This line of attack has real resonance with our stupidest Republicans. (Proposed Republican primary targets: Sens. Kelly Ayotte, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio.) Which explains why Republicans are devoting all their energy to slightly increasing their share of the Hispanic vote while alienating everyone else in America.

It must be fun for liberals to manipulate Republicans into focusing on hopeless causes. Why don’t Democrats waste their time trying to win the votes of gun owners?

As journalist Steve Sailer recently pointed out, the Hispanic vote terrifying Republicans isn’t that big. It actually declined in 2012. The Census Bureau finally released the real voter turnout numbers from the last election, and the Hispanic vote came in at only 8.4 percent of the electorate — not the 10 percent claimed by the pro-amnesty crowd.

The sleeping giant of the last election wasn’t Hispanics; it was elderly black women, terrified of media claims that Republicans were trying to suppress the black vote and determined to keep the first African-American president in the White House.

Contrary to everyone’s expectations, 10 percent more blacks voted in 2012 compared to 2008, even beating white voters, the usual turnout champions. Eligible black voters turned out at rate of 66.2 percent, compared to 64.1 percent of eligible white voters. Only 48 percent of all eligible Hispanic voters went to the polls. It is mind boggling that it has come to this. The stupidity of allowing illegals amnesty first will be the death of anything that we used to recognize as an America we once knew. Guess who would be paying for their Obamacare? Guess who would be a drain on the entitlement programs of the US? Guess who would not be paying any income taxes?

Folks, immigration is not set up to benefit those individuals wanting to come to America, immigration law is made to benefit the country and who should be allowed in to provide the skill and knowledge to make the country better. The United States cannot be a welfare state to the world, as it is, we cannot even afford to be a welfare state to our own citizens.
