You Knew This was Coming … Global Warming Extremists Blame Climate Change for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami

The Climate change folks could not even wait a day …

It was only a matter of time before the Global warming, now turned climate change extremists blamed “climate change” for the Japan 8.9 earthquake and tsunami. In the midst of the horror, death, missing persons and need for help from the world community, we are presented with stories like the following, ‘Today’s tsunami: This is what climate change looks like.’ Or worse yet, the political posturing from those on the Lefts brought to light by The Other McCain. There might be a time and place for such conversation if one is of this persuasion, this happens not to be one of them.

So far, today’s tsunami has mainly affected Japan — there are reports of up to 300 dead in the coastal city of Sendai — but future tsunamis could strike the U.S. and virtually any other coastal area of the world with equal or greater force, say scientists. In a little-heeded warning issued at a 2009 conference on the subject, experts outlined a range of mechanisms by which climate change could already be causing more earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic activity. . . .

Scientists have known for some time that climate change affects not just the atmosphere and the oceans but the earth’s crust, but these effects are not widely understood by the public.

“In the political community people are almost completely unaware of any geological aspects to climate change,” said McGuire.

As Weasel Zippers states, because earthquakes are such a recent phenomenon. The 8.9 Japan earthquake was among one of the most powerful in history; however, they key word here is history. Records go back to the 1900′s, so was cliamte change responsible for those as well? From the American Spectator comes the lunacy of such a statement of tsunamis and climate change.

So…weather’s not climate.
Unless it’s warm weather.
And one year doesn’t mean anything.
Unless it’s a warm year.
Or a dry one. Or wet . Snowy. I guess cold, too.
Then it means a lot. Oooooh baby does it. Mmm hmm.
But tsunamis, well, they don’t mean climate of course. Saying that would make the greens look really nuts. (chuckle)

Maybe the climate change alarmists might want to read, Tsunamis: Facts About Killer Waves. Tsunamis date back to the 1500′s, see where we are going?

Tragedy strikes Arkansas when flash floods hit the Caddo and Little Missouri rivers that rose by 20 feet overnight. The result was the hikers and campers who were spending the night in tents along the rivers in the isolated Ouachita Mountains were unsuspectingly swept away.

It was reported that 16 people had died in flash floods and dozens are missing in Arkansas after flood waters swept through a camp ground. Sadly, many of the the  dead reported are children and there are still as many as 20 people still missing after the flash flood.

About 60 campers were rescued by emergency workers, another two dozen hospitalized, the Associated Press reported, citing authorities. Dozens more are still missing and feared dead.

“About one-thirty, two in the morning, we started hearing children and women screaming and crying,” said Crystel Hofer, who was asleep in her cabin when the water came raging through. “So we went to the door and opened the door and they were trying to come up the hill to where our cabin was to escape the rising water.”

Rescue crews took to kayaks, horseback and ATVs on Saturday to resume the desperate search for about two dozen campers still missing after flash floods swept through a popular campground, killing at least 17 people.

So Barack Obama, Who is the Government of “Unconscionable Ineptitude” … BP Oil Spill Meets Hurricane Katrina

When it comes to the BP oil spill, Barack Hussein Obama is on it … or so he says.  What lessons did he learn from the Hurricane Katrina response as he stated in the video below? It would appear none.

Barack Obama brings “Unconscionable Ineptitude” to new heights.

Hear what candidate Barack Hussein Obama had to say about the Bush Administration when the situation was Hurricane Katrina. Obama claimed he would rebuild the levies to withstand a 100 year storm by 2011. Hell Barack, you could not even prevent the 500 year storm and flood that hit Nashville, TN that caused nearly $2 billion worth of damage. As a matter of fact, you never even visited, but you did find time to play golf.

Video via Breitbart TV

Take a good listen to Obama’s words and his criticisms and compare then to his own action or inaction with the BP oil spill disaster and the pending ecological catastrophe off the Louisiana Gulf Coast. The oil now spreads closer and closer to the Florida white sanding beaches, bur wait President Barack Obama is on it … he is attending a tribute to Paul McCartney.

Welcome to the Obama BP oil spill hostage crisis, Day 44 … the leak may last until Christmas. I bet that will do wonders for the Democrats in the November midterm elections.
