Van Der Sloot’s Yard Being Searched By Dutch Authorities

Breaking, as we get more information we will get it to you. Joran poolside

The Aruban prosecutors’ office said Dutch police who traveled to Aruba to investigate the disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway searched the yard of a one-time suspect on Friday.
Using thin metal rods and shovels, police and forensic
investigators churned up the earth outside the home of Joran van
der Sloot, the last person known to have seen Holloway alive before
she vanished in May 2005 during a school vacation on the Dutch
Caribbean island.
Vivian van der Biezen, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s
office, told reporters gathered outside the home that the
investigation has never stopped, and Dutch authorities are
reviewing the case for new clues.
She said roughly 20 investigators arrived from Holland on June
16th, but that she could not say why they were searching the
property. She did not know how long they planned to stay.
The prosecutors’ office said in a statement that, “the team has
indications that justify a more thorough search.” It did not
provide further details. via MyFox Birmingham

UPDATE I: Buskeda na cas di Joran v/d Sloot, VIDEO

UPDATE II: Comments from Jossy Mansur

Now we know that they are there for a thorough search of the house and surroundings. They have set up tents, which means they will be there for quite a while. They also have dogs and technical equipment. It seems they mean business. This is a combined effort by a batallion of Dutch and Aruban investigators. (Jossy Mansur)

UPDATE III: Dutch Police Dig for Clues in Natalee Holloway Case at Suspect Joran van der Sloot’s Home

“The investigation has never stopped and the Dutch authorities are completely reviewing the case for new indications,” Vivian van der Biezen, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office, told reporters gathered outside the home. (FOX)

Joran Van der Sloot … Still a Suspect in Disappearance of Natalee Holloway … Investigation Continues

Joran Van der Sloot … Not so fast …

If Joran Van der Sloot thought that things would change upon the two year anniversary of Natalee Holloway 2Natalee Holloway going missing in Aruba, he thought wrong. According to Dutch authorities, the investigation will continue and Joran Van der Sloot is the main suspect.

Many have been wondering what the status was of the Natalee Holloway investigation and whether anything was being done at all. Sources have told us that there has been action in the case and much is being done behind the scenes out of the media’s eye. The fact that Joran Van der Sloot picked this moment in time to release his “tale or lies” may prove to be his undoing. According to all accounts the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway will be prolonged to an indefinite date, Dutch investigators have found new leads and Joran Van der Sloot remains the main suspect. We had an opportunity to talk to Jossy Mansur who stated the following:

Yes. The case is to remain open and Joran’s two years as a suspect has been prolonged to an indefinite date.

I haven’t heard of more details, only that the Dutch have found new leads or clues that warrant the case to remain an active one.

There are many Dutch investigators now on the island for the case of Holloway and also the bribery case.

The Dutch team has come and is working in secrecy. You don’t hear a sound from them. We have been very busy with the bribery case, but are now back full speed on the Holloway case.

I remember that the Dutch team stated at one point they will work only with the anti-narcotics officers in Aruba, because they are more secretive.

Aruba 3 suspects

If Joran Van der Sloot thought that he was out of the fire, he thought wrong, very wrong. As we always state, just because the media does not report on a story does not mean its news nor does it mean that there is no activity. The MSM will predictable make their rounds covering the case when the two year anniversary roles around of Natalee’s disappearance; however, the case and investigation go forward … Justice for Natalee.

Aruba’s Continued Nightmare Courtesy of Joran Van der Sloot … Joran Prospers with Book While Arubans Struggles

You  will be able to find Joran Van der Sloot’s book, ‘The Case of Natalee JVDS_BookHolloway,’  in the fiction section of your local book store. Nearly two years later and the lies still come.  While Arubans and the Aruban economy has struggled and declined since Natalee’s disappearance, Joran Van der Sloot looks to make money at the expense of a missing and presumed dead American, Alabama teen. With the two year anniversary of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance coming up, Joran Van der Sloot looks to once again make this story front page material for media consumption. Who benefits Aruba and who sufferers?

Joran Van der Sloot continues to spread his less than credible version of events and even shows his sick, disturbed and hate for an individual that he is accused of being responsible for her disappearance. This is the mark of a socio-path, always having to spew hatred toward another.

He admits that he didn’t even know her name and had preferred making love to her friend Ruth, who was much prettier.

Natalee Holloway disappears, Joran Van der Sloot was the last known person with her, he lied through his teeth during interrogations and now almost two years later he makes a swipe  like this at Natalee and her family. What a disturbed individual. Aruba, you had and have a choice. Joran Van der Sloot is the face of Aruba. No amount of marketing is going to change this, only Justice for Natalee will.

Aruba, this is what you chose to support. You protest “chollers” but not the people who are most responsible for giving Aruba a black eye. When will you make a stand and say enough is enough?

Amigoe, The answer on what had happened must be somewhere

ORANJESTAD/AMSTERDAM – In the book ‘The Case of Natalee Holloway’ that was published today in the Netherlands , Joran van der Sloot admits that he has probably committed the biggest mistake of his life by leaving the American girl on the beach by herself.

He has also lied about that night on the beach to the police and realizes that due to his falsehood, he has lost his credibility.   He knows that he is still the main suspect in the case and understood that the OM in Aruba will soon, maybe next month already decide whether they will proceed to prosecution.   Neither the Dutch- and Aruban police, nor the FBI has found a clue on the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.   There is still an active team of Dutch police on the island.     The book has 351 pages and is written by and for journalist Zvezdana Vukojevic, who works for Nieuwe Revu.   She has spent some time in Aruba with Joran van der Sloot to visit all the locations that are of importance.   Joran van der Sloot told her about his life before he met Natalee, his time in prison and the police interrogations.

Aruba: Protest against the Choller Problem again … Why no Protests Ever for Natalee Holloway?

The Aruban protests against the Choller problem on their island continues. In all the Aruban travel brochures, web sites and ATA information we have yet to hear them talk about the “choller” problem and inform  the unsuspecting tourist. If the “choller” problem warrants people protesting in the street one would think that the traveling tourist would need to know of the potential risk.

(What the protest should have looked like)

The protesters are not sure whether this protest will help, because the problem with the chollers is too big …

What is more problematic to Aruba is that these protests show that Arubans are willing to go out and protest against certain issues they deem important. Some how the issue of “chollers” is important enough to protest, yet the manner in how the Natalee Holloway disappearance was handled and its negative effects on Aruba’s image and economy  and in turn Arubans was not. Chollers are an inconvenience? As compared to what, an economy that had declined in the past two years vs the rest  of the Caribbean that saw increases? All resulting following Natalee’s disappearance and the manner in how the investigation was handled. An image by many that still exists today.

… this second one focused more on the inconvenience of the chollers.   The protesters want the government to tackle this problem as soon as possible, by moving the relief center Dak riba Cabez elsewhere, away from the center of town.

The protesters are not sure whether this protest will help, because the problem with the chollers is too big, and it won’t go away by itself.   But if nothing happens, the protesters will hit the street again.

Aruba’s May Want to Rethink their Promotion … Aruba, Island of Clowns

Aruba … Island of Clowns, who does their PR?

Sometimes stories just write themselves. There are also some promotions that maybe their organizers might want to rethink as to how one may be perceived on the whole. Aruba’s attempted promotion to get into The Guinness Book of World Records for Clowns might just be one of those … maybe we should rethink this moments.

One would think that maybe they would devote their time to more serious things like trying to solve the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Instead its all about “Clowning” around.

Does Aruba really need this promotion to be perceived by many as an island of Clowns? The way that they have handled themselves in dealing with and investigating the disappearance of Natalee Holloway has all but done that. One would think that they would have no problem lining up enough people to break the “Clown” record.
