Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, “We Have to Pass Our Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It”

SHE SAID WHAT!!!

After a year of Obama lecturing America on his health care bill, after failed deadline after deadline by Obama to Congress to pass his government take over of the health care bill and it’s 2700 pages and counting bill … Nancy Pelosi said the following during her speech to the 2010 legislative conference of the National Association of Counties.

Is it any wonder why no one trusts Obamacare? Would you buy a used car from a person who said something comparable? Hardly, so then why would anyone want such sweeping overhaul of the insurance industry and 1/6th of the US economy.

Democrats are turning out to be the gift that keeps on giving.

Is it any wonder why so many are opposed to Obama care and why the American people want Congress to scrap the present bill and start over from scratch.  You mean to tell us that the Democrats cannot properly tell us what is in the bill prior to it being passed?

Pelosi wants us to trust here? That that is comical, who knew the Speaker had such a sense of humor. No one presently trust Congress; however, those that do trust Republicans on more of the issues than Dems.

SNL Rips Reid, Pelosi, Obama & Unpopular Obamacare Bill … “really, really unpopular, angry mob unpopular”

Saturday Night Live once again rips President Obama and the Democrats as their health care reform skit last night went after the Obamasessiah, Pelosi and Reid regarding the failed and disastrous piece of legislation known as Obamacare.

When Democrats and Obama have to worry about skits from SNL making fun of their policies, they are in deep trouble.

Obama: Polls may show that the health care reform bill currently before Congress to be surprisingly unpopular.
Pelosi: They really don’t like it.
Reid: I thought it would be much more popular
Pelosi: I was stunned

The skit would later go on top have Barack Obama state the following:

“It’s a good bill that we perhaps have properly failed to explain. Speaker Pelosi and Majority leader  Reid have assured me that unpopular as the bill may be, in the days ahead this bill will be passed by the House and the Senate and will be sent to my desk for signature.

What is the key to sarcasm … the truth:

Finally after decades of effort we will have real health care reform, even though as I have said it may not be popular, or viewed favorably by Americans, or what the people wanted us to do.

Health care is “angry mob” unpopular in Nevada…

Obama: “Now Senator Reid I’ll admit is in a different situation, he’s up for re-election this fall where health care is especially unpopular. I’m not sure why but it is, really, really unpopular, angry mob unpopular. Lets be frank, Harry Reid could lose this November but let me make something clear, I don’t think he will or at least it won’t be because this unpopular bill.

Health care could poll at 100% and Harry Reid would still have problems, I think even Harry would agree he is not the most intelligenic or charismatic guy around. Plus he has been hurt by some of the sleazy deals he cut with other Senators in order to get health care passed, I mean you have to acknowledge they were sleazy, I mean the cornhusker kickback, it just smelled bad”

Harry Reid has not had time to campaign back in Nevada as he has been tied up in Washington, DC with this unpopular health care bill. But as the skit ends, Obama states that he is not running in 2010. He wishes he were, because unlike the unpopular health care bill … he is popular. Yep, real popular as seen by the most recent Rasmussen Daily Presidential tracking poll of -17.

US Representative Eric Massa (NY-D) to Resign from Office in Wake of Sexual Harassment Scandal

From not seeking reelection to resignation in just days.  Democrats are scrambling to rid themselves of the scandal, which seems to lately be a theme with the Dems and Pelosi’s most ethical House ever.

Looks like Nancy Pelosi needs to drain her own swamp before she points the finger at others.

Democrat US House Representative Eric Massa will resign from office.  According to reports, Massa has been pressured by Democrats to set aside in amid an ethics controversy regarding the sexual harassment of a male staffer that caused him to announce earlier this week that he would not run for a second term in 2010.

In a statement released Friday, Massa directly addressed the ethics issue for the first time, acknowledging that he used language that might have made staffers uncomfortable. But he did not specifically address any specific sexual harassment allegations.

“I own this reality. There is no doubt in my mind that I did in fact, use language in the privacy of my own home and in my inner office that, after 24 years in the Navy, might make a Chief Petty Officer feel uncomfortable,” Massa said. “In fact, there is no doubt that this Ethics issue is my fault and mine alone. But in the incredibly toxic atmosphere that is Washington D.C., with the destruction of our elected leaders having become a blood sport, especially in talk radio and on the internet, there is also no doubt that an Ethics investigation would tear my family and my staff apart.”

Massa admits, he is guilty …

“I can’t subject my family and staff to a full investigation,” Massa said. “It would tear us apart … It’s not that I can fight or beat these allegations, I’m guilty.”

US Rep (NY-D) Charlie Rangel Steps Aside from House Ways and Means Committee Amid Ethics Probe

From Speaker NancyPelosi’s most ethical US House of Representatives ever …

New York Democrat US House Representative Charlie Rangel, the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee has announced that he has stepped aside amidst an ethics probe. The scandal of the Harlem lawmaker lounging in the Dominican amid the back drop of tax evasion was even more than long time Representative Rangel could endure.

Rangel, temporary steps down. Temporary, HARDLY!!!

“The ethics committee has found that Mr. Rangel violated the rules of the House and he’s been admonished,” said Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio. “As a long-time member of the House he does not deserve to be a member of the Democrat leadership nor as chairman of this committee.”

Political consultant Hank Sheinkopf said the image of Rangel by his villa in the Caribbean, which the ethics committee is investigating for possible income tax violation, will be sent to every close race in America by the Republicans.

The Democrats go from bad to worse as they replace Rangel. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has picked liberal Rep. Pete Stark to replace ousted Chairman Charles Rangel on the tax-writing committee.This will do even more wonders for Obama’s bi-partisan government.

In Stark, Pelosi is picking a fellow Californian to head one of the House’s most powerful committees. Stark becomes the sixth House Democratic chairman from the Golden State.

Stark is next in line for the post in seniority, but his maverick personality had led some to question whether he would get the gavel even on a temporary basis.

One has to wonder what the mindset is of Democrats these days. Are they trying to lose the House and Senate in biblical proportions this November? As Red State asks, is Nancy Pelosi trying to lose the House?

Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi claims she will get the votes necessary to pass Obamacare, yet she also stated on the Sunday Talks Shows that Democrats should walk the plank and sacrifice their political careers for the all high and mighty Barack Hussein Obama and Obamacare. As it is presently, the 2010 midterm elections look to be utter carnage for Democrats, according to our accounts Dems look to lose 9 seats in the Senate. Passage of Obamacare will cause Donkeys to lose the House as well.

Lawmakers sometimes must enact policies that, even if unpopular at the moment, will help the public, Pelosi said in an interview being broadcast Sunday the ABC News program “This Week.” “We’re not here just to self-perpetuate our service in Congress,” she said. “We’re here to do the job for the American people.”
