Rascal Flatts Sings a Tribute to Caylee … Caylee Anthony Song … Goin Places
I have always been a huge Rascal Flatts fan and now I know why. The Country super stars have put out a tribute to Caylee Anthony, the little two year old girl who was murdered, her mouth duct taped, double bagged and thrown in a swamp like trash. The individual responsible was some how found “not guilty” by 12 jurors who have to be the most out to lunch group of people ever assembled in one deliberation room.
However, Caylee Anthony is loved by all and she’s America’s little girl. It must be difficult for the narcissist Casey Anthony that it is her daughter who still gets all the attention and is loved by a nation. Take a listen to Rascal Flatts tribute to Little Caylee, “Going Places” … its a tear jerker.
“Just a baby barely two-years-old. A story that shouldn’t have to be told. See that little girl with big brown eyes. Stole our hearts and touched our lives,” and then addresses her hopes and dreams with: “She wanted to learn to play guitar. Be a ballerina or movie star. She could have gone so far.”
“See that little girl with big brown eyes, stole our hearts and touched our lives. Now we cry because we cant understand”.
It is too bad that the jury of 12, or the Ship of Fools as many refer to them as could npt have kept the perspective of what this case was about … the murder of a two year old who was too young in life for her life to be taken.
God Bless Caylee and Thank you Rascal Flatts, Cledus T Judd and Jimmy Yeary… you guys are top notch.
In light of the controversial acquittal of Casey Anthony, who was accused of killing her adorable 2-year-old daughter Caylee, Rascal Flatts‘ lead singer, Gary LeVox, co-penned a tribute song called ‘She’s Going Places’ to the little girl.
Country parody singer Cledus T Judd got serious, along with Jimmy Yeary, to co-write this piano-driven ballad. A Nashville demo singer also contributes vocals to the song. Country station KICKS 105 alerted us to the song, which the artists hope will spread virally.

Who Knew … John Lennon was a Closet Republican & a Ronald Reagan Fan … Imagine That
Imagine John Lennon was a Republican …
Formal Beatles John Lennon … a closet Republican, wow, who knew? So says the last personal assistant prior to John Lennon’s sad and untimely death. Fred Seaman went on to say, “He was a very different person back in 1979 and 80 than he’d been when he wrote Imagine. By 1979 he looked back on that guy and was embarrassed by that guy’s naivete.”
John Lennon was a closet Republican, who felt a little embarrassed by his former radicalism, at the time of his death – according to the tragic Beatles star’s last personal assistant.
Fred Seaman worked alongside the music legend from 1979 to Lennon’s death at the end of 1980 and he reveals the star was a Ronald Reagan fan who enjoyed arguing with left-wing radicals who reminded him of his former self.
In new documentary Beatles Stories, Seaman tells filmmaker Seth Swirsky Lennon wasn’t the peace-loving militant fans thought he was while he was his assistant.
He says, “John, basically, made it very clear that if he were an American he would vote for Reagan because he was really sour on (Democrat) Jimmy Carter.
Imagine what libs must be thinking today? How is that possible, can’t be … all those baby-boomers just took a double dose of xanax today. As stated at Weasel Zippers, when walking be a liberals home, make sure you look up to dodge the jumpers.
Let’s not forget the lyrics to Revolution, But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao.It would appear as suggested by Big Hollywood that Lennon appears to have grown up over the years and realized the errors of his ways in his younger years.
You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you knowWe all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow
Clarence Clemons, Legendary Rock Saxophonist of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band Dies at the Age of 69
REST IN PEACE BIG MAN …
There is sad news today in the music world, Clarence Clemons, the big man on the sax of the E Street band has passed away at the age of 69 due to complications from a stroke. The saxophone player fell ill at his Florida home last Sunday and later underwent two brain surgeries. According to accounts, his situation appeared to be looking up Monday; however, sadly last week his situation took a turn for the worse. Clemons played with the Boss, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since 1971. The unmistakable sax sound was a staple on such songs as Jungleland, Born to Run, Rosalita (VIDEO) and so many, many more. Clemons also played with other music legends the Grateful Dead, Ringo Star, Jackson Browne, Aretha Franklin and Ray Orbison.
Clarence Clemons discusses life with the E Street Band
I have long been a fan of the music of Springsteen and the E Street Band, especially their music of the 1970′s and 80′s. I spent many a summer and weekend down at the Jersey Shore, Asbury Park and the Stone Pony in my day. Today I lost a piece of my childhood, but I fondly remember some great moment from the past. Tonight the Stone Pony has free admission “Remembering the Big Man”.For those who grew up and went to school in the Jersey area you know exactly what I am referring to, Springsteen, Clemons and the E Street Band pretty much provided anthems for life.
According to Jersey shore music legend, Clemons was playing a gig at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park in September of 1971 when he decided between sets to go to the nearby Student Prince (VIDEO), where Bruce Springsteen was performing. Clemons was the sax player for the E Street Band from its inception until his passing. The Big Man was bigger than life, a friend to everyone who knew him, and we miss him so very much.
Jungleland – the fantastic sax sounds of Clarence Clemons
A statement from Bruce Springsteen:
“Clarence lived a wonderful life. He carried within him a love of people that made them love him. He created a wondrous and extended family. He loved the saxophone, loved our fans and gave everything he had every night he stepped on stage.”
“He was my great friend, my partner and with Clarence at my side, my band and I were able to tell a story far deeper than those simply contained in our music. His life, his memory, and his love will live on in that story and in our band.”

Clarence on the Sax … Cuz Big Man, You were Born to Run and play the Sax … Rest in Peace
More from the LA Times and a fond remembrance. The folks at Powerline also have a great remembrance of the Big Man as well.
“Every time we get together, it’s all brand-new,” Clemons told the Associated Press last year. “Every time, Bruce comes back with something new and something different. I keep wondering: How high can he take it? … How many times can he be reborn? I just want to keep on living so I can keep seeing the change.”
Clarence Clemons was born Jan. 11, 1942, in Norfolk, Va., the son of a fish merchant who bought him an alto saxophone for Christmas one year, instead of the electric train he’d asked for.
