Rascal Flatts Sings a Tribute to Caylee … Caylee Anthony Song … Goin Places

I have always been a huge Rascal Flatts fan and now I know why. The Country super stars have put out a tribute to Caylee Anthony, the little two year old girl who was murdered, her mouth duct taped, double bagged and thrown in a swamp like trash. The individual responsible was some how found “not guilty” by 12 jurors who have to be the most out to lunch group of people ever assembled in one deliberation room.

However, Caylee Anthony is loved by all and she’s America’s little girl. It must be difficult for the narcissist Casey Anthony that it is her daughter who still gets all the attention and is loved by a nation. Take a listen to Rascal Flatts tribute to Little Caylee, “Going Places” … its a tear jerker.

“Just a baby barely two-years-old.  A story that shouldn’t have to be told.  See that little girl with big brown eyes.  Stole our hearts and touched our lives,” and then addresses her hopes and dreams with: “She wanted to learn to play guitar.  Be a ballerina or movie star.  She could have gone so far.”

“See that little girl with big brown eyes, stole our hearts and touched our lives. Now we cry because we cant understand”.

It is too bad that the jury of 12, or the Ship of Fools as many refer to them as could npt have kept the perspective of what this case was about … the murder of a two year old who was too young in life for her life to be taken.

God Bless Caylee  and Thank you Rascal Flatts, Cledus T Judd and Jimmy Yeary… you guys are top notch.

In light of the controversial acquittal of Casey Anthony, who was accused of killing her adorable 2-year-old daughter Caylee, Rascal Flatts‘ lead singer, Gary LeVox, co-penned a tribute song called ‘She’s Going Places’ to the little girl.

Country parody singer Cledus T Judd got serious, along with Jimmy Yeary, to co-write this piano-driven ballad. A Nashville demo singer also contributes vocals to the song. Country station KICKS 105 alerted us to the song, which the artists hope will spread virally.

To Gary of Rascal Flatts, your song for Caylee, “She’s Going Places” is truely a touching tribute to a child who’s life was all too short. I am greatfull to you for your compassion towards Caylee. I hope you will include this on your next album/CD, even my 79 yr. old mom wants a copy of it. You have touched us and we are thankfull to you. Again thank you, wish you well, and hope to be able to get your song soon. Always a fan, from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Carole

I disagree with your put down of the jury. While we may not agree with their decision, they were working with what they had. The unfortunate lack of forensic evidence made it difficult for them to convict Casey of murder.
These jurors did not go out seeking for this job. It was a tough duty. They were away from their work, family and friends for weeks. They lost vacation time and leisure time…all to sit day after day and hear this case in its entirety. I don’t think any of them took the responsibility lightly. To call them names and demonize them is unfair.
I normally love this site…and other crime sites that stick up for the victims. But I found this particular rant against the jurors, who are everyday people fulfilling a duty we’ve called them to do on our behalf, very offensive.
      _________________
SM: Sorry, I disagree. It was just not them that played a part in this terrible decision, but the fact that they were sequestered for weeks. Honestly, they just wanted to go home. They did not take many notes during this complex case as well as i just do dot think they are capable of connecting dots.

What this jury just told all future killers, is that if you hide the body long enough, don’t say anything, lie to people, go partying for 31 days as you victim rots in a swamp and you do nothing to help police …knowing damn well where the body was as evidence decays.

Sorry, but these jurors could have found Casey guilty of lesser charges, it was not like the choices were death or not guilty. This jury provided no JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE.

I have heard the couple of jurors that have come forward and its easy to say by their comments … not only does it seem like they did not understand, nor follow the judges instruction … they could not comprehend the evidence and believed the BS of thje defense that in many cases lied thru their teeth.

The result, a murderer walks free and a beautiful child is provided no justice.

    9. Karen on July 9th, 2011 9:51 am

Rules of Deliberation in the Jury Instructions were not followed. Probably because these 12 people just didn’t understand them.

Then they spend less time “thinking” than most people spend to choose a prom dress. No, they did not take their job seriously.

To say it wasn’t their job to “connect the dots”, I ask you, “Who’s job was it?” The prosecution spelled it all out for you. Did you expect a video of Casey doing the deed?

God bless Caylee, child of Jesus now…

    10. Sandra on July 9th, 2011 11:13 am

God Bless Rascal Flatts for this beautiful song. Caylee was a beautiful little girl that could have been given to her grandparents to raise, but instead, her selfish, jealous mother(if you want to call her that) threw her in the swamp to rot. I truly hope she rots in HELL. God Bless you Caylee Marie Anthony. You are loved by so many that you didn’t even know.

    11. Nana on July 9th, 2011 12:45 pm

thanks – powerful song – as a Mom and Nana, I appreciate the song you’ve created to pay tribute to this special little girl – and in my mind, all God’s children who are abused, alone or killed.

    12. jackie bradshaw on July 9th, 2011 1:21 pm

This is a beautiful song as all of Rascal Flatts songs, as for the mom only God knows the truth and if she did it he will give her what she deserves, and that special litttle girl is wih Jesus.

I think the Jury system is on the verge of being revamped here in the USA….Maybe a 3 panel of judges or something along that line will replace the panel of 12, who at one time tried to do their duty without planning to make money off the case and making TV appearances. All things come to an end and it is just about time here.

    14. Jerone Thompson on July 9th, 2011 6:51 pm

What a beautiful song for a precious beautiful little girl. I will never comprehend how a jury of l2 people set this sick evil woman free.

    20. Linda Daniels on July 10th, 2011 9:26 am

God Bless you Caylee. Rest in peace my little angel. America loves you.

    21. jgore on July 10th, 2011 9:31 am

why are you so surprised? Thousands of babies are partially pulled from their mothers wombs and murdered every day . where is their justice? Our country is going to hell and everyone just sits and lets it happen. While this is terrible there are many more children murdered and abused every day. The fight is coming, where sane people are going to have to stand up and change things. Casey will never be free.Every where she goes hopefully people will remind her of what she did. Just like O.J.

    22. amanda on July 10th, 2011 11:30 am

what a beautiful tribute to such a beautiful little girl. caylee has touched lives all across the world, including my own. yes children go missing everyday. let caylee be a reminder as to take an extra step in making our children safe. any responsibe parent or guardian should always know the well-being of their children. lets not continue to let casey’s not guilty verdict happen to anyone else. let your anger and frustration out and do something possitive. support the new caylees law that has been made. if justice was not done the way you think it should have then do something to make a differnece. little caylee is in a wonderful place with no worries. im sure she would like everyone to take action to make sure this does not happen to another innocent child.
