Newtown, CT Shooter Adam Lanza Researched Mass Murderers Prior to Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre
In the end, are mass murders as simple as one sick, mentally deranged individual trying to out do the previous one?
As reported at the Hartford Courant, Adam Lanza, the individual responsible for the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, CT that left 26 dead, conducted research on several mass murders. There has been previous news accounts that investigators had found news articles about Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik at Lanza’s Newtown home. Now sources are saying that the investigators also found articles and other documents related to other mass murders in one of two bedrooms he used in the house that he shared with his mother, Nancy. Lanza shot and killed his mother first in the home before he went to the elementary school and went on a mass murder spree.
Another reason to monitor your crazy children … Adam Lanza researched mass murders, prior to his own
As we have stated in the past, no gun ban that Dianne Feinstein, Democrats and Barack Obama can dream up to punish law abiding Second Amendment Americans is going to prevent a mass murder where we have severely deranged individuals who are hell-bent on outdoing the previous deranged mass murderer. These crazoids are trying to outdo each other. This is about crazy, not guns.
Before carrying out the Dec. 14 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Adam Lanza conducted research on several mass murders, sources close to the investigation into the shooting have told The Courant.
The Courant had previously reported that investigators found news articles about Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik at Lanza’s Newtown home. Sources now say that investigators found articles and other documents related to other mass murders in one of two bedrooms he used in the house that he shared with his mother, Nancy.
Lanza killed 26 people, including 20 first-graders, on the morning of Dec. 14 before taking his own life as police closed in. Lanza had first shot and killed his mother at their house.
State police gave the victims’ families, Sandy Hook teachers and first-responders an update on the investigation last week in which, sources said, they discussed the theory that Lanza was trying to outdo other killers.
From The LA Times:
The Stamford Advocate, citing an unnamed source, said officials found documents on “virtually every mass murder” in the United States and elsewhere after searching the Lanza home.
The source said they found “a lot of material” in particular on Charles Carl Roberts IV, who attacked an Amish schoolhouse in 2006, killing five girls.
The Associated Press also reported that literature on other mass shootings was found at his house.

South Dakota First State in US to Allow Teachers to Carry Guns in School to Protect Children
Finally, a law that actually allows for the protection of school children … Reading, Writing and Revolvers.
South Dakota has become the first state in the Nation to enact a law explicitly authorizing school employees to carry guns on the job. The bill was signed into law on Friday by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. The law is in response to the call to arms to protect school children following the Newtown, CT Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting that left 20 dead. What better way to protect innocent children from the Adam Lanza’s of the world than taking away ”gun free zones”. As the Right Wing News opines, such places are considered easy pickings by those crazoids who are hell bent on mass murder and taking out as many as possible before they take their own life. This law specifically authorizes teachers to possess a firearm in a K-12 school. Protecting children in schools is not about taking law-abiding citizens Second Amendment rights away, it’s about a show of force against those that would cause harm to innocents. Why would a crazed killer attack a school, a movie theater or a mall, because they are gun free zones. Create a barrier or perception that they are not gun free and a cowardly killer would think twice. That, or they will be gunned down before too much damage is done.
South Dakota became the first state in the nation to enact a law explicitly authorizing school employees to carry guns on the job, under a measure signed into law on Friday by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. Several other states already have provisions in their laws — or no legal restrictions — that make it possible for teachers to possess guns in the classroom. In fact, a handful of school districts nationwide do have teachers who carry firearms. But South Dakota is the only known state with a statute that specifically authorizes teachers to possess a firearm in a K-12 school, according to Lauren Heintz, a research analyst at the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Representative Scott Craig, a freshman Republican in the South Dakota House who sponsored the bill, said he hoped the measure would shift the country’s discourse on school safety.
“Given the national attention to safety in schools, specifically in response to tragedies like in Connecticut, this is huge,” he said. He added that, hopefully, “dominoes will start to fall, people will see it’s reasonable, it’s safer than they think, it’s proactive and it’s preventive.”
So Punks, do ya feel lucky trying to target a school in South Dakota?
Teacher Suspended at Odyssey School in Newnan, GA for Poor Judgement After Pretending to Shoot 1st Graders to Teach Them About Sandy Hook Elementary Massacre
Wow, this might be filed under one of the worst ill-conceived lesson plan ever …
With all of the rules in schools today when it comes to bringing guns to school, whether they be pink “Hello Kitty” toys or not, or the rules restricting what games children can play, like “Save the World” and even not allowing children to point their fingers like a gun … it is a bit amazing that a substitute teacher thought it would be a good idea to do the following stunt. Mariano Pacetti, a teacher at Odyssey School in Newnan, Ga, decided to teach the children about the Sandy Hook Elementary school massacre in Newtown, CT by playing a kind of hide-and-seek game where he encouraged students to hide while he pretended to be a gunman. Pacetti pointed his finger at a student and said, “Bang you’re dead.”

The teacher at Odyssey School in Newnan, Ga., identified as Mariano Pacetti, was playing a kind of hide-and-seek game where he encouraged students to hide while he pretended to be a gunman, the Newnan Times-Herald reported. He formed a gun with his fingers and pointed to one boy and said, “Bang you’re dead.”
School director Andy Geeter told the newspaper Pacetti “exercised poor judgement” in the activity, which some parents said gave their children nightmares, according to WAGA-TV. Twenty first-grade students and six adults were killed when a gunman shot his way into the school in Newtown, Conn. and opened fire before killing himself in December.

NBC News/WSJ Poll: National Rifle Association (NRA) More Popular than the Entertainment Industry.
A new NBC News/WSJ poll shows that the NRA is far more popular than the entertainment industry. In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting in Newtown, CT the poll finds that 41% of Americans see the NRA in a positive light, while only 34% view it in a negative light. However, only 24% have positive feelings about the entertainment industry, and 39% have negative ones. A rather interesting comparison when one looks at President Barack Obama’s recent 23 executive orders on gun control, yet there were no references to anything to deal with curbing the violence spread by the entertainment industry with violence in TV, movies or print. But of course Obama has a chummy relationship with the entertainment industry and has given them a pass.
As Washington prepares for a political battle over the Obama White House’s proposals to curb gun violence after the Newtown, Conn., shootings, a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds that the National Rifle Association is more popular than the entertainment industry.
Forty-one percent of adults see the NRA — the nation’s top gun lobby — in a positive light, while 34 percent view it in a negative light.
By comparison, just 24 percent have positive feelings about the entertainment industry, and 39 percent have negative ones.
The NRA’s fav/unfav score is virtually unchanged from its 41 percent-to-29 percent rating in the Jan. 2011 NBC/WSJ poll, nearly two years before the Newtown shootings.

NRA Ranks Swell After Sandy Hook Elementary School/Newtown, CT Massacre
In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, CT, the NRA’s ranks have increased by in great numbers. As reported at the Politico, the National Rifle Association has gained more than 100,000 new members in the last 18 days. Is it any wonder why the pro-gun rights group is seeing their membership rise dramatically as President Obama through his surrogate, Sheriff Joe, has threatened to bypass the Congress and US Constitution to grab the guns by executive order. Americans are concerned about protecting children from gun violence; however, simply banning guns and a gun grab is hardly the answer. However, it is the objective of an exploitative Democrat party who wants to harm people’s rights and the 2nd Amendment.
The National Rifle Association has gained more than 100,000 new members in the past 18 days, the organization told POLITICO’s Playbook on Thursday.
The number of paid new members jumped from 4.1 million to 4.2 million during that time.
“Our goal is to get to 5 million before this debate is over,” the NRA told POLITICO’s Mike Allen.
Those comments come as Vice President Joe Biden gears up to meet with NRA representatives Thursday to discuss gun policy after the Dec. 14 mass shooting in Newtown, Conn., prompted a national conversation on the subject.
The NRA met with Joe Biden and the gun violence task force yesterday so that Sheriff Joe could get a check in the box for meeting with pro gun groups.
