A 30 year old Hudson County New Jersey man was shock in the head by two carjackers at the upscale Short Hills Mall in the parking garage Sunday night at about 9:10 pm. The couple, a man and woman, were approached by the two thugs who carjacked them as the couple returned to their Range Rover after Christmas shopping at the mall. The two thugs, after firing shorts, took off in the couple’s 2012 silver Range Rover with the license plate U26BVD.

The man who was shot once in the head and rushed to Morristown Medical Center where he was in “grave condition.”  His wife was not injured.

An evening of Christmas shopping turned into a violent nightmare tonight when a man returning with his wife to their parked Range Rover at an upscale New Jersey mall was shot in the head, and their vehicle carjacked from a parking deck at the Mall at Short Hills.

Police said the two suspects both fled in the stolen car and had an alert out for the 2012 silver Range Rover with the license plate U26BVD.

The man, who was not identified, was shot once in the head and rushed to Morristown Medical Center where he was in “grave condition,” said Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray. His wife was not injured.

UPDATE I: 30 year old shooting victim pronounced dead at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

The man was pronounced dead at Morristown Medical Center at 11:45 p.m. Sunday. His name was not immediately released, but Murray said he was 30 years old and was from Hudson County, N.J.

How very sad and senseless. Dustin died a hero protecting his wife who had already got into the SUV.

The victim, Dustin Friedland, 30, wasn’t protecting his luxury SUV, says a source close to the investigation — but his beloved wife Jamie, already in the car. One thug had come close to her and ordered her out, but ‘she got a look at him,’ says the source.

UPDATE III: Police Recover Carjacked Range Rover in Newark, NJ.

The man fatally shot outside a New Jersey mall during an apparent carjacking Sunday night has been identified as a 30-year-old lawyer from Hoboken.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray and Millburn Police Chief Gregory Weber identified the victim as 30-year-old Dustin Friedland of Hoboken, who was shot in the head at approximately 9 p.m. on the second floor of the parking lot outside the Short Hills Mall.

Authorities also found the carjacked silver 2012 Range Rover with New Jersey license plate U26BVD behind an abandoned house on Renner Avenue in Newark. There was damage to the driver’s side and the passenger’s side, and the rear window was shattered.

The Essex County Sheriff’s Crime Stoppers program is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects in this case.

9 Year Old Reann Murphy Missing Since 12/14/13 Found Dead in Trash Can Near Her Home in Smithville, OH (Update: Suspect Arrested in Murder of 9 Year Old – Picture … 24 Year Old Jaret Medsger)

9 year old Reann Murphy had been missing since Saturday afternoon, December 14, when she was last seen playing outdoors at the mobile home park at about 5:30pm where she lived at 5912 Akron Road (Map) in Smithville, Ohio.  Sadly, the police found Reann Murphy’s body in a trash bin at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. It was not reported how the little 9 year old girl was killed.  The Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are now investigating this case as a homicide.  Wayne County Sheriff  Travis Hutchinson stated, “Any violent death is troubling but the death of a child is much more so. We will leave no stone unturned as this investigation continues.”

9 Year Old Reann Murphy … RIP

Reann Murphy was reported missing on Saturday evening.  Police said Murphy was last seen playing outdoors at 5:30 p.m. near her family’s Smithville mobile home park.

According to Wayne County Sheriff Travis Hutchinson, deputies from his department responded to the family’s home at 5912 Akron Road shortly after 8 p.m.. Deputies along with firefighters, civilians and other police searched the area for hours.

At approximately 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, police found the body of a small child in a trash dumpster near Murphy’s home.

Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are now investigating the homicide.

UPDATE II: The Seattle PI is reporting that an arrest has been made in the death of 9 year old Reann Murphy. That was fast!!!

Authorities say a suspect has been arrested on a murder charge in the death of a 9-year-old Ohio girl whose body was found in a trash bin.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest Sunday in the death of Reann Murphy. A news conference was scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

UPDATE III: 24-year-old Jaret Medsger is the suspect who has been arrested in the murder of 9 year old Reann Murphy. This dirtbag, murderer will be arraigned at 8:15 in a Wayne County courtroom Monday morning.

Obama Administration: It’s Ok for “Green Energy” Wind Turbines to Kill or Injure Bald or Golden Eagles without Penalty Because We’re Trying to Save the Environment

Obama says OK to KILL Eagles for “Green Energy” … What say you Audubon Society,  PETA, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, NRDC, Earth First, and “Spotted Owl” Gore?

So not only does Obama pick winners and losers with regard to energy companies, he also picks who can kill and who can’t. The shameful new rule  enacted by Obama’s Interior Department makes it possible for green energy companies to slaughter Bald and Golden eagles without penalty for 30 years. UNREAL. Big Oil harms some water fowl and these people lose their minds and talk about the evils of oil. However, Big Green Wind kills eagles and other birds and that is perfectly acceptable. What a fraud these liberal groups are that claim to protect the Earth and the Eco-system. As long as so-called “green” energy kills the symbol of the United States, that bis perfectly ok, but of coal, oil, gas injures a worm … then that is a national tragedy. This president will do anything to pander to his liberal base and make it all political. I would ask Mr. President, how is this fair to the Eagles?

The Obama administration said Friday it will allow some companies to kill or injure bald and golden eagles for up to 30 years without penalty, an effort to spur development and investment in green energy.

The change, requested by the wind energy industry, will provide legal protection for the lifespan of wind farms and other projects for which companies obtain a permit and make efforts to avoid killing the birds.

An investigation by The Associated Press earlier this year documented the illegal killing of eagles around wind farms, the Obama administration’s reluctance to prosecute such cases and its willingness to help keep the scope of the eagle deaths secret. The White House has championed wind power, a pollution-free energy intended to ease global warming, as a cornerstone of President Barack Obama’s energy plan.

According to the Washington Times, wind energy facilities have killed at least 67 golden and bald eagles in the last five years, but the figure could be much higher, according to a new scientific study by government biologists. Hmm, so why doesn’t Obama and his liberal environmentalists put the same type of restrictions of “killer” wind turbines that they do to the coal, gas and oil industry? How come wind farm companies do not have to build protective cages around the turbines like a common fan has to protect birds from flying into the blades? This administration certainly has no issue with costly expenses when it comes to regulating other forms of energy.

Just curious, why aren’t wind farm companies regulated to put protective covers over their blades like a common fan?

All to provide miniscule power while putting a blight on the landscape. Average delivered power is roughly 30-40% with very low power density (megawatts per square mile), since you need huge tracks of land/sea for the farm. Compare that to natural gas, which has an average delivered power in the upper 80?s, with an extremely high power density.

Gunmen Kill U.S. Citizen Working at International School in Benghazi, Libyia

BREAKING: Reuters is reporting that a United States citizen working at the international school in Benghazi, Libya  has been shot and killed. FOX News is reporting that medical and security sources told Reuters that the man was targeted by gunmen as he was exercising. No one has yet taken responsibility for the cowardly act.

Gunmen have killed a U.S. citizen working at an international school in the Libyan city of Benghazi, medical and security sources said on Thursday.

The attackers shot the American man, who was an instructor or teacher at the Benghazi school, while he exercised in the morning, the sources said.

After the murders of four Americans in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, including the death of US Ambassador Chris Stevens has literally gone unpunished by the Obama administration, terrorists in Benghazi must think it is open season on Americans.  There has been no comment yet from the Obama administration as to whether an anti-Muslim tape was responsible for the shooting.

This is what happens when you do not respond to terrorist acts in kind. How have the deaths of  Tyrone Woods, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Amb. Chris Stevens not been investigated and justice not been  served?
