So there is no correlation between ‘Black Lives Matter’ and murdering of police, eh?

How ironic, Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks, the suspect in the fatal shooting of Kentucky state trooper was an active supporter of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement according to his Facebook page, under the pseudonym ‘Jay MileHigh’. A supporter of the faux-movement, ‘Hands Up Don’t Shoot’ did just that when he murdered Kentucky state trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder. Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks, the man who gunned down Kentucky state trooper also attended Michael Brown’s funeral. Imagine that. This is the result of what happens when you glorify a punk who robs a convenience store and then attempts to assault a police officer and attempts to take away a cop’s gun.

Oh, and its supposed to be a non-violent movement at that. Sure it is. In the end, Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks died from suicide by police as the suspected murderer failed to listen to police after being cornered and lower his weapon.

A Missouri man suspected of fatally shooting a Kentucky state trooper was an active supporter of the “Black Lives Matter” movement who advocated against violence, a Facebook page shows.

Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks, who was shot dead by police Monday morning, appears to have regularly posted videos and articles on police shootings under the pseudonym “Jay MileHigh,” Vocativ reported.

On that Facebook page, photos appear to show the 25-year-old St. Louis man attending a funeral service for Michael Brown, who was shot dead by a Ferguson police officer in 2014. It also shows him attending local protests in the days and weeks after.

In several photos, Johnson-Shanks is seen with his hands raised in the air with the caption, “hands up don’t shoot” — a phrase that originated from the unarmed teen’s death.

“Some of y’all don’t understand the more violence that occurs is less justice for Mike Brown the focus should be on him,” he posted on a “Justice for Mike Brown” Facebook page on Aug. 14, 2014, one week after Brown’s death.

There is one less cop killer on Earth as Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks was shot and killed following a manhunt for the murderer. I guess the Black Lives Matter folks will protest his death as well.

The Kentucky State Patrol’s Special Response Team found the armed suspect in a wooded area close to I-24, the agency says.

“Johnson-Shanks refused verbal commands and aimed the weapon at the Troopers. An SRT Trooper discharged his agency issued weapon striking Johnson-Shanks,” police say. “He was transported via ambulance to the Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, KY for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.”

A manhunt has been launched after the shooting death of 31 year old Kentucky State Trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder. The incident occurred Sunday night, 9/13, at approximately 10:20 pm CT after Trooper Ponder pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 24. The driver fled from the traffic stop where the pursuit ensued with the suspect stopping abruptly around the 49 mile marker when the suspect jammed on his breaks. The suspect then got out of his vehicle and fired several shots into the police cruiser. The suspect then fled on foot and is still at large.  Trooper Ponder was taken to a hospital in Princeton, Kentucky, where he later died of his injuries.

Trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder, 31, was killed after a driver fled from a traffic stop on Interstate 24 at 10:20 p.m. local time (11:20 p.m. ET).

“A pursuit ensued with the suspect stopping abruptly around the 49 mile marker, causing the front of Trooper Ponder’s police cruiser to make contact with the rear of the suspect vehicle,” Trooper First Class Jay Thomas said in a statement.

He added: “At this time, the driver of the suspect vehicle fired several shots into the police cruiser striking the hood, windshield and Trooper Ponder multiple times. The suspect fled the scene on foot.”

The shooting suspect who murdered Kentucky state trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder has been identified as 25 year old  Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect has been identified as Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks, 25, of Missouri. He was described as a black male who is about 5-foot-5 inches and 140 pounds.

Police say he ran off after shooting Ponder. A search was under way Monday morning in Lyon County, Ky.

Johnson-Shanks’ hometown couldn’t immediately be verified by police, but online records show him living in the Florissant area. He was arrested twice in 2014 in the St. Louis area, once for destruction of property and once for interfering with a police officer.

A social media site that appears to be Johnson-Shanks’ features a photo collage of Martin Luther King, Malcom X and Michael Brown. He reposted photos of memorial sites for Michael Brown and others killed by police, asking “Why is it taking so long to arrest those officers.”

UPDATE II: Cops shoot and kill alleged gunman who murdered rookie Kentucky state trooper.

A man suspected of killing a Kentucky trooper was shot and killed by state police early Monday morning, police confirmed to FoxNews.com.

Authorities said 25-year-old Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks, of Missouri, was located in a remote rural area near I-24 around 7 a.m., following an all-night manhunt. Johnson-Shanks was armed with a handgun and did not comply with several commands to drop his weapon, according to Sgt. Mike Webb.

“That gave the trooper closest to him no choice but to fire his agency-issued weapon, striking him multiple times,” Webb said.

WWE great and Hall of Famer, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, was arrested on Tuesday in New Jersey in connection with the 32 year old murder case of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino. The 72 year old former WWE wrestler who lives in Camden County, NJ was arrested and bail was set at 100,000. The third-degree murder means a killing with malice, that carries a maximum sentence of 20 to 40 years in prison. Which basically means a life sentence at his age. It would appear that Vince McMahon and the WWE has yet another black eye.

WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka was arrested in New Jersey on Tuesday in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, in 1983.

Earlier, during a news conference, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced that Snuka had been charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter of his then 23-year-old girlfriend.

Argentino’s autopsy showed that she had died of traumatic brain injuries and suffered more than two dozen cuts and bruises — a possible sign of “mate abuse”. However, Snuka was never charged.

On Tuesday, Snuka, 72, was charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter after a Lehigh County grand jury determined he repeatedly assaulted Argentino in May 1983 in the motel and then left her in bed to die.

“His assaultive acts and his failure to act to obtain medical attention resulted in her death,” the grand jury wrote in a presentment July 17, recommending he be charged with homicide.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced the charges at a news conference two years after the case was reopened. The grand jury probe was prompted by a 2013 Morning Call investigation that raised questions about the Argentino case 30 years after her death. The Morning Call story revealed a never-before-seen autopsy report that labeled the case a homicide.

The manhunt is on for the individuals responsible for the murder of the 32-year veteran Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz with the Fox Lake, Illinois Police Department. The 52 year old officer was set to retire at the end of September. Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz  was shot dead while on a routine patrol. Sadly, the officer was found shot in the head. The authorities are searching for three suspects, two white men and one black man. According to the police, the officer’s gun and pepper spray were taken during an altercation. All three suspects are still at large.

A manhunt enters the late night hours as law enforcement continue to search for three suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a Fox Lake police officer.

The slain officer has been identified as 32-year veteran Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz with the Fox Lake Police Department.  He was supposed to retire last month but the chief — who stepped down — asked him to stay on for one more month. He was involved in several youth programs in the area, and he had a wife and four sons.

Authorities say they are searching for two white men and one black man.

Sources say the officer’s gun and pepper spray were taken.

UPDATE I: Manhunt underway in Fox Lake after officer fatally shot.

A manhunt for three suspects continued into the night after a police officer was fatally shot in far north suburban Fox Lake Tuesday morning. Police say the suspects, described as two white males and one black male, should be considered armed and dangerous.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said the search perimeter was released just after 10 p.m. after a 14 hour search coordinated between local, state and federal law enforcement. The scene has been turned over to the Lake County Major Crime Task Force, which will be the lead agency on the investigation.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Dept. identified the slain officer as 52-year-old Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz, a 32-year veteran of the force and married father of four sons in their teens and early 20s who was well-known and well-liked in the community. Lt. Gliniewicz went by his middle name, and was nicknamed “G.I. Joe.”

Gliniewicz grew up in the Fox Lake area where he served as a peace officer, graduated from Antioch Community High School and obtained a Master’s degree in criminal justice from Kaplan University. He was a leader of the Fox Lake Police Department Explorer Post, which helps mentor young people interested in careers in law enforcement, and an Army veteran who served in active duty and reserve from 1980 to 2007. He left the military with a rank of First Sergeant.

Gliniewicz had been married for 26 years and was to retire at the end of September. He met with Fox Lake’s mayor Monday to talk about his retirement plans and ensure that the Explorers troop he led continued without him.

Goforth, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson provided some very strong words in support of law enforcement and against the thug-like lawlessness that took the officers life. District Attorney Devon Anderson stated, “It is time for the silent majority in this country to support law enforcement and condemn this atrocious act.”

“It is time for the silent majority in this country to support law enforcement! There are a few bad apples in every profession. That does not mean that there should be open warfare declared on law enforcement. The vast majority of officers are there to do the right thing, are there because they care about their community and want to make it a safer place. What happened last night is an assault on the very fabric of society. It is not anything that we can tolerate.

It is time to come forward and support law enforcement and condemn this atrocious act!
