Civil As An Oxymoron
Desiree Young, Kyron’s biological mother and arguably the bravest soul in recent memory as far as the frantic and grieving mom’s of missing children’s set is concerned, believes her youngest son has been kidnapped by Terri Horman.
Or that she arranged for same by some unknown party and is demanding his location or the location of his remains.
Her recent civil suit filed by Eldon Rosenthal makes these direct allegations against the woman that by her own admission, she entrusted with the care of her toddler son in 2003.

Desiree Young, the Mother if Missing Kyron Horman Files $10 Million Lawsuit Against Stepmother Terri Horman
7 year old Kyron Horman has been missing since June 4, 2010 after Kyron attended a science fair where he displayed a project on red tree frogs at Skyline Elementary school in the Portland, OR area. After much investigation and numerous searches there has been little to determine what happened to Kyron Horman. Desiree Young, the other of missing Kyron Horman has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the stepmother, Terri Horman. Desiree Young has long believed that Terri Horman knows what happened to her son and that she is responsible. The lawsuit asks the court to compel Terri Horman to disclose Kyron’s location. The lawsuit also includes two claims, one for custodial interference and one for intentional infliction of emotional distress. As stated by Young’s lawyer Eldon Rosenthal, this civil suit is not about the money, it is about acquiring documents and evidence and “peel away the mystery” of what happened to Kyron.
Desiree Young, the mother of missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman, filed a $10 million civil suit against his stepmother Friday seeking answers about her son’s disappearance.
“I believe that Terri Horman knows where Kyron is. I believe that Terri Horman is responsible for where my son is,” Young said.
Police have pointed a finger at the boy’s stepmother, Terri Horman, and have indicated there are discrepancies in her account of what happened on the morning of June 4, 2010, when Kyron disappeared.
Horman also admitted to hating her 7-year-old stepson, police said.
Desiree Young provides a statement ti the public ion Friday.(Read the full statement HERE).
“My family and I are living through a nightmare that most families cannot even imagine,” said Young. “My Kyron has always been my comfort and my joy. I will forever have a hole in my heart because he’s not here.”
“I haven’t been able to see my son, hug him, kiss him or tuck him into bed” in nearly two years, she said. “Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him.”
“I pray for the phone call every day that he is coming home. I hope that I am wrong but I fear he is gone forever. I believe that Terri Horman knows where Kyron is.”
