This morning on CNN’s ‘State of the Union” Senator John McCain (AZ-R) called President Barack Obama “inept” and “ignorant” in his handling of the response in handling the recent attacks and murders in Libya. As reported at The Hill, McCain called the Obama Administrations response after attack on the Benghazi Consulate and the death of four Americans political spin and it did not pass the smell test. However, isn’t this par for the course for Obama? The Obama administration found it so hard to call the underwear bomber or the Time Square bomber, instead it was a one off. They found it difficult to call the Ft. Hood shooting terrorism, instead that was work place violence.

The Arizona Republican said the administration’s initial claim that an anti-Muslim video incited the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was political spin that “doesn’t pass the smell test.”

“It was either willful ignorance or dismal intelligence to think that people come to spontaneous demonstrations with heavy weapons, mortars, and the attack goes on for hours,” McCain said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” program.

“To blame it on the video … shows the absolute ineptitude and ignorance of the realities,” McCain added. “It’s not the videos, it’s the radical Islamists [who] are pushing the videos.”

McCain said the White House was initially reluctant to label the attack a planned act of terrorism for fear of exposing the level of turmoil in the Middle East, a region he characterized as “unraveling” under Obama’s watch.

Who will take the Fall for Watergate Benghazigate?

Who will get thrown under the bus, but make no mistake, it is impossible to believe that the White House did not know what was going on no matter what anyone says. Because if they did not know, they should have known. Benghazigate is a scandal on a multitude of levels. How were US Embassies so ill-prepared and such a lack of security on the anniversary of 9-11, especially when there were warnings ahead of time? How was an Ambassador allowed to go to the US Consulate in Benghaazi, especially when he had wrote in his private journals that he feared for his life? Are we supposed to believe those fears were never made aware to his superiors? Who decided in the Administration to misrepresent the facts on the ground that the attacks and murders were a result of terrorism and they state to “We the People” a message quite to the contrary.

US Rep. Peter King (NY-R) and House Homeland Security Committee chairman Pete King has called for Ambassador Susan Rice to resign. King stated,“I believe that this was such a failure of foreign policy messaging and leadership, such a misstatement of facts as was known at the time … for her to go on all of those shows and in effect be our spokesman for the world and be misinforming the American people and our allies and countries around the world, to me, somebody has to pay the price for this.” Knowing that the attacks were a result of terrorism, Ambassador Susan Rice went on five networks last Sunday and spewed the Obama Democrat talking points that the attacks were a spontaneous protest of the anti-Mohammad movie trailer.

Rep. Peter King called for the resignation Friday of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice for initially saying that the deadly Sept. 11 assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was spontaneous.

“I believe that this was such a failure of foreign policy messag[ing] and leadership, such a misstatement of facts as was known at the time … for her to go on all of those shows and in effect be our spokesman for the world and be misinforming the American people and our allies and countries around the world, to me, somebody has to pay the price for this,” the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee told CNN.

Senate Foreign Relations Chairman John Kerry (D-MA) and the individual thought to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State if Obama wins reelection, defended Rice in a statement, saying, “I’m deeply disturbed by efforts to find the politics instead of finding the facts in this debate… I’m particularly troubled by calls for Ambassador Rice’s resignation.

King also called for an investigation into what was known before the attack. “This warrants a full investigation,” he says. “I believe there should be a congressional investigation. I think there should be an internal investigation.”

Benghazi, he adds, “was a hotbed of al-Qaeda activity, of militia activity, of terrorist activity. We knew that the facilities that we were using there were not adequately fortified. These were temporary, basically private residences which had almost none of the protections that a consulate should have.”

“To allow the American ambassador to go there,” he continues, “ to allow us to keep records or documentation there or anything  in such an unsecure and such a dangerous area and such unsecure facilities with such little security appears to be gross negligence, and may be criminal negligence.”

Make no mistake about it America, this is a scandal of EPIC proportions that makes Watergate pale in comparison. This was a disgraceful coverup that saw the deaths of four Americans and the President, his campaign minions and the Intelligence agencies played politics during and election year.

THE EYE CANDY IN CHIEF: AMERICA, WAKE UP … THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT FOUR MORE YEARS OF … KIM KARDASHIAN AS PRESIDENT?

The frivolity of Barack Obama … “The View” is more important than dealing with US issues? Partying with celebrities is more important than dealing with America’s pain?

Millions of Americans are unemployed, the US has had 43+ months if unemployment over 8%, 53% of college grads are under employed or unemployed, the federal debt is $16 trillion and counting, the Middle East is on fire, Iran is about to go nuclear, Obama refuses to meet with the Israeli PM Netanyahu, but … the President of the United States, the leader of behind of the free world Barack Hussein Obama had time in his busy schedule to go on “The View”.

The Eye Candy in Chief

While on “The View” Barack Hussein Obama actually said the following, “I’ve Been Told I’m Just Eye Candy”. Good grief. As reported at Weasel Zippers, Chrissy Matthews was nodding his head in agreement and got yet another thrill up his leg.

President Barack Obama on Monday sought to woo women voters at a taping of the daytime talk show “The View,” by flirting with his wife and bearing gifts for the hosts, but he could not escape tough questions on the economy that have dominated the election.

When host and veteran journalist Barbara Walters kidded Michelle Obama about bringing the president as her “date,” Obama quipped, “I’ve been told I’m just eye candy here.”

Priorities. What else would we expect from Barack Hussein Obama, who opted to go to a Las Vegas, Nevada fundraiser and campaign for president rather than being the President on the day America learned that Libyan Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans were killed? Leadership? This President is more concerned with his celebrity of the Presidency than he is actually doing the job as President. America cannot afford another 4 years.

Barack Obama Refers to Israel Concern Over Iran as ‘Noise’ … And So Does Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

How do the sayings go, birds of a feather flock together and water seeks its own level … Obama and Ahmadinejad liken Israeli concerns over nuclear Iran to “Noise”  More Obama foreign policy that America needs to take a real close look at.

Last night during a CBS ’60 Minutes’ interview President Barack Obama did the absolute unthinkable with regards to commenting on Israel who is supposed to be the United States closest ally in the Middle East. Barack Obama described Israel’s concerns over Iranian nukes as “Noise.” 

STEVE KROFT: “How much pressure have you been getting from Prime Minister Netanyahu to make up your mind to use military force in Iran?”

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “Well—look, I have conversations with Prime Minister Netanyahu all the time. And I understand and share Prime Minister Netanyahu’s insistence that Iran should not obtain a nuclear weapon, because it would threaten us, it would threaten Israel, and it would threaten the world and kick off a nuclear arms race.”

STEVE KROFT:  “You’re saying, you don’t feel any pressure from Prime Minister Netanyahu in the middle of a campaign to try and get you to change your policy and draw a line in the sand? You don’t feel any pressure?”

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “When it comes to our national security decisions—any pressure that I feel is simply to do what’s right for the American people. And I am going to block out—any noise that’s out there. Now I feel an obligation, not pressure but obligation, to make sure that we’re in close consultation with the Israelis—on these issues. Because it affects them deeply. They’re one of our closest allies in the region. And we’ve got an Iranian regime that has said horrible things that directly threaten Israel’s existence.”

But wait, Obama was not the only one calling it noise. So did Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. As reported at the WAPO, Ahmadinejad used the same word to describe Israel in an interview. So this is how we treat an ally like Israel? Where now a US President is sounding like a crazy Islamisofasist like Ahmadinejad?

IGNATIUS: “I want to ask as my first question the one every citizen of the world would like to ask today: What is the chance of a war in Iran that would result from an Israeli attack on your nuclear facilities?”

AHMADINEJAD: “I have spoken about this topic at length, previously. We generally speaking do not take very seriously the issue of the Zionists and the possible dangers emanating from them. Of course they would love to find a way for their own salvation by making a lot of noise and to raise stakes in order to save themselves. But I do not believe they will succeed. Iran is also a very well recognized country and her defensive powers are very clear.”

Allen West (FL-R) spoke out on the comments, spinning and outright distortion of the facts by UN Ambassador Rice and the Obama minions who have developed the meme that the attacks and murders of Amb. Stevens and three Americans was a spontaneous act and not premeditated, even though all signs and evidence point to the contrary.

What sparked the violence was a very hateful video on the Internet,” Rice said on “Fox News Sunday.” “It was a reaction to a video that had nothing to do with the United States.”

“The best information and the best assessment we have today is that this was not a pre-planned, pre-meditated attack,”

Col. Allen West was asked by Judge Jeanine Pirro last night on Fox News ‘Judge Jeanine’, Alright Congressman, you heard it. White House spinning. This is the video we hear from the President of Libya that this was not about a video. What say you?

Rep. Allen West responded, “Well it’s very simple. When I listen to the US Ambassador Susan Rice today, several words came to mind; asinine, naive, inept, incompetent and borderline ignorant.”

When I listen to the US Ambassador Susan Rice today, several words came to mind: asinine, naive, inept, incompetent and borderline ignorant because when you understand that the Egyptian government, there intelligence services, put out a letter talking about potential threat of attacks, uprisings about a week before this. It was even printed in the Jerusalem Post on 9-11… For Susan Rice to say this was not a well coordinated attack, first of all, I’d have to ask her what is her line of expertise in understanding what a well coordinated attack is. Because this was not happenstance. It was not coincidence. It was well planned. Well coordinated. And the President there in Libya confirms it.

Powerline adds an important little factoid that disproves Ambassador Rice and makes her comments pretty much foolish and mere spin.The investigation she is referring to has not even been able to get off the ground.

The investigation to which Rice refers seems not to have gotten far off the ground; the FBI has reportedly been unable even to enter Libya. Among recent news reports that suggest this story won’t stand is this CNN story, currently linked on Drudge:

President Barack Obama’s Cairo speech is coming home to roost and like clockwork, he refuses to take responsibility. Even though the United States was warned 3 days in advance, there were warnings in the Jerusalem Post, there were four prior attacks in Benghazi and the attack was on all days, the anniversary of 9-11. Obama has been seen to be weak on domestic policy, they last thing that Obama can stand is to be seen weak, wrong and naive and clueless on foreign policy.

Could the Riots Spread … US Embassies in Algeria, Tunisia warn of Protests Tell Americans to avoid crowded places

As President Obama leads from behind, AP warns that American embassies in Algeria and Tunisia could be next as Islamists protest continue. Protests in Cairo, Egypt and Libya, including the deaths of Ambassador Stevens and three other Embassy staffers could boil over in to Algeria and Tunisia. Obama’s response is to condemn the attacks and then go off and continue his campaign rather than stay in Washington and be president.

The American embassies in Algeria and Tunisia warned of more protests Wednesday, following attacks by protesters in neighboring Libya in which the U.S. ambassador and three embassy staff were killed.

In an emergency message, the embassy in Tunis warned Americans to avoid crowded places, saying that even gatherings “intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence.” The embassy in Algiers had similar advice.

The Algiers embassy said unspecified groups were using online social networks to organize demonstrations “to protest a range of issues” there Wednesday. The statement out of Tunis cited “media reports” indicating protests were planned, but said the embassy remained open.

All hell breaks loose in Cairo, Egypt as Islamists scale the walls of the US Embassy after Pastor Terry Jones Posts Anti-Mohammed Film. During the protest the American flag was taken down and torn into pieces and replaced with a black flag with the words “There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger”. Wow, what does this remind America of? A Ed Driscoll states, can you say, “Welcome Back Carter”? Once again Barack Obama is leading from behind.

Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy on Tuesday, tore down the American flag and burned it during a protest over what they said was a film being produced in the United States that insulted Prophet Mohammad.

In place of the U.S. flag, the protesters tried to raise a black flag with the words “There is no God but God, and Mohammad is his messenger”, a Reuters witness said.

Once the U.S. flag was hauled down, some protesters tore it up and showed off pieces to television cameras. Others burned the remains outside the fortress-like embassy building in central Cairo. But some protesters objected to the flag burning.

Many Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet to be offensive.

“This movie must be banned immediately and an apology should be made,” said 19-year-old Ismail Mahmoud, a member of the so-called “ultras” soccer supporters who played a big role in the uprising that brought down Hosni Mubarak last year.

So what does Team Obama do? Well they did what they do best, apologize.

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
