NY Times Columnist David Brooks States: “Obama Has a Manhood Problem in the Middle East … Is He Tough Enough …?”

OUCH, Obama has a manhood problem in the Middle East, subtitled … Obama wears mom jeans.

New York Times columnists David Brooks went there this past Sunday on Meet the Press, questioning whether Barack Obama has the “co-jones” to deal with tough situations like in the Middle East and against a leader like Russia’s Vladimire Putin … “[L]et’s face it. Obama, whether deservedly or not, does have a, I’ll say it crudely, but a manhood problem in the Middle East. Is he tough enough to stand up to somebody like Assad, somebody like Putin?” NBC’s Chuck Todd said during the round table, “Internally they fear this”.

David Brooks: “And let’s face it, Obama, whether deservedly or not, does have a — I’ll say it crudely, but a manhood problem in the Middle East,” Brooks said. “Is he tough enough to stand up to somebody like Assad or Putin? A lot of the rap is unfair, but certainly in the Middle East, there’s an assumption he’s not tough.”

Chuck Todd: “Internally they fear this. It’s not just Bob Corker saying it, questioning whether the president is being alpha male — that’s essentially what he’s saying, he’s not alpha dog enough, his rhetoric isn’t tough enough. They agree with the policy decisions, but it’s the rhetoric. Internally, this is a question.”

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz Says Politics Had Nothing to do With Obama’s Delay of Keystone XL Pipeline Until After 2014 Midterm Elections

LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE …

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) was on ‘Meet the Press’ on Sunday spinning like a top. DWS told David Gregory that she does not believe that Barack Obama’s decision to delay the XL Keystone pipeline had nothing to do with politics. HAH! Seriously Debbie, the fact that it is referenced that a decision will be made at the earliest after the 2014 has nothing to do with politics? Sorry, but much like everything with Obama, it has everything to do with politics. This is just another example of Barack Obama kicking the political can of issues down the road and playing partisan politics and putting Democrats ahead of Americans. We know that the Keystone XL pipline construction will create primary jobs and secondary one’s from that. But that does not matter to the Food Stamp president.

DWS discusses Keystone XL Pipeline around the 4:00 mark

DWS went on to say, “It [Keyston XL pipeline] affects multiple states.  What’s also true is that incumbent senators like [Louisiana Democrat] Mary Landrieu understand the issues that are important on the ground in their states to their constituents.” Yes, they do and they do not appear to be happy.

XL_Keystone_Sen_Landrieu comments

This woman has the nerve to talk about Tea party extremists when Democrats and Barack Obama are pandering to the far-left wing environmental wackos in delaying the XL Keystone as even Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) stated, “Today’s decision by the administration amounts to nothing short of an indefinite delay of the Keystone pipeline. The decision’s irresponsible, unnecessary, and unacceptable. By making it clear that they will not move the process forward until there’s a resolution in a lawsuit in Nebraska, the administration is sending a signal that the small minority who oppose the pipeline can tie up the process in court forever.”

Meet the Press Transcript:

DAVID GREGORY: Are you worried, as the party chair, that this shouldn’t be resolved before the election because of the potential impact it could have on vulnerable Democrats?

REP. DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: As a member of Congress who represents hundreds of thousands of people in south Florida, I want to make sure that the right decision is arrived at. And that the president makes that decision carefully and he doesn’t factor politics into his decision, which I don’t think he is.

DAVID GREGORY: Is the issue in the fall a referendum on President Obama?

REP. DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: No, absolutely not. The–

DAVID GREGORY: It’s not?

I suppose the IRS targeting the Tea Party, blaming Benghazi on a video tape and delaying employee mandates for Obamacare were not political either.

SNL’s Mocks Obama’s Shilling of Obamacare … Obama Takes Selfies with the Pope and Kisses Justin Bieber on the Lips to Push Healthcare.gov

SNL mocks Barack Obama for his over the top, excessive selling of Obamacare. But then again, hasn’t Obama made a complete mockery of the presidency?

In the final 48 hours before the deadline to sign up for healthcare, Obama’s aides forced him to be photographed in Pharrell’s hat and alongside Kim Kardashian and Harry Styles. And “a cat dressed as Elsa from Frozen.” And BatKid. And the Pope.

Secretary of State John Kerry Shames Russia for Invading Ukraine: “It’s Really 19th Century Behavior in the 21st Century”

Does President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry realize that Russian President Vladimir Putin is former KGB … he has no shame.

Secretary of State John Kerry made an appearance on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ today to discuss the current crisis with the Russian invasion of the Crimea region in Ukraine. Sec. Kerry spoke sternly toward the Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine. Kerry said to David Gregory, “you just don’t invade another country on phony pretext in order to assert your interests.”  Does the Obama administration understand that Putin thinks that you do invade another country to assert your interests? Kerry’s tough talk ought to make Putin reconsider invasion. NOT!!!

Well, we’re now discussing all of the options. This is an act of aggression that is completely trumped up in terms of its pretext. It’s really 19th-century behavior in the 21st century, and there’s no way to start with that if Russia persists in this, that the G8 countries are going to reassemble in Sochi. That’s a starter. But there’s much more than that.

Just a note to Barack Obama and John Kerry, Vladimir Putin is not John Boehner nor Mitch McConnell.

Full transcript can be read here at NBC News, ‘Meet the Press’.

SECRETARY JOHN KERRY:

Well, we’re now discussing all of the options. This is an act of aggression that is completely trumped up in terms of its pretext. It’s really 19th-century behavior in the 21st century, and there’s no way to start with that if Russia persists in this, that the G8 countries are going to reassemble in Sochi. That’s a starter. But there’s much more than that.

Russia has major investment in trade needs and desires. I think there’s a unified view by all of the foreign ministers I talked with yesterday, all of the G8 and more, that they’re simply going to isolate Russia. That they’re not going to engage with Russia in a normal, business-as-usual manner.

Because Russia is inviting opprobrium on the international stage. There could even be ultimately asset freezes, visa bans. There could be certainly a disruption of any of the normal trade routine, and there could be business drawback on investment in the country. The ruble is already going down and feeling the impact of this.

And the reason for this, David, is because you just don’t invade another country on phony pretext in order to assert your interests. There are ways to deal with this. And President Putin knows that. President Obama yesterday offered mediation. There are plenty of ways to protect Russian-speaking people in Crimea or other parts of Ukraine. But they are really sort of a hidden pretext here, possibly trying to annex Crimea.
