Tucker Carlson Says Al Sharpton And Jesse Jackson Are “Hustlers And Pimps Who Make A Living Off Inflaming Racial Tensions” During Interview with Geraldo Rivera (VIDEO)

During an interview this morning on Fox & Friends – Weekend, Geraldo Rivera said that this is how politics tainted the legal process, raised expectations in the minority community and now has added to the racial divide when the verdict came back not guilty. Defense attorney Mark O’Mara said that if George Zimmerman was black, he never would have been charged with a crime. Rivera went on to say that not all tragedies are crimes. The original prosecutors, the original police chief and officers did not believe a crime was committed. Rivera said that this was race politics, the president gave the signal and then Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton stirred things up.

Classic pic as Tucker gives Alisyn the are you friggin kidding me look as Rivera says he holds Sharpton & Jackson in high esteem. Might be worthy of a caption contest.

However, the classic bit of Geraldo’s ramblings was when he said that he held in high regard Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. The look on Tucker Carlon and Alisyn Camerota’s face was priceless. That’s when Tucker Carlson said that  Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were “Hustlers and Pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions”

“I don’t know how I feel about George Zimmerman,” Carlson said (watch video here). “But I am positive that people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do not deserve to be called civil rights leaders. They are not. They are hustlers and pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions. They know nothing about this. They’re not residents of Florida. They don’t represent anybody, they’re not elected to anything, they don’t have constituencies. The only reason they’re allowed to do this is because we in the press enable them by calling them civil rights leaders. Why do we do that?”

Geraldo did not want to get into that debate, but conceded and made a powerful and honest comment … “you had 11 black kids killed last weekend in Chicago and 40 odd wounded. Where was the Reverend Sharpton? Where was the Reverend Jackson. That is the real civil rights crisis in urban American today. It is the gun violence run ramped. Black on black crime … What happens here is they went back to the old stereo-type black kid killed by cop, there is where the outrage is. And it is almost irresponsible …”

Actually, it is completely irresponsible.

Good Grief, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is a Bumbling Disgrace, Fox News Ed Henry Rips Him on Eric Holder’s Lies Under Oath to Congress

OBAMA’S WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY JUST HAS NO CREDIBILITY …

Today was the 4th of July come early as fireworks flew at the White House. Fox News White House correspondent Ed Henry White House spokesman spin doctor Jay Carney  went at it like cats and dogs today during the White House press conference discussing Attorney General Eric Holder’s lies under oath. CBS reported, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday expressing “great concern” about the possibility that Holder lied under oath during his testimony earlier this month on the Justice Department’s seizing of journalists’ records. With three scandals going on simultaneously, it’s only a matter of time before some one takes the fall. The Obama administration has to do something to stop the political bleeding. The fact that Obama appointed Eric Holder to investigate Eric Holder only added fuel to the fire and made a complicit MSM raise an eye brow. Carney would say, “I don’t see the conflict”. Dude really? Stevie Wonder can see the conflict. It is hard to imagine this does not end with a Holder resignation.

Transcript from The Gateway Pundit:

Ed Henry: Was he not telling the truth at that point? He was involved in it.

Jay Carney: Involved in what?

Ed Henry: He signed off on the search warrant!… Are you not involved after you sign off on a search warrant?

Jay Carney: Again, I’ll refer you to the Justice Department. You guys are complaining that the subpoena with prosecution. Again… I would just point you to what the Attorney General said.

Major Garret: But is this a technical inaccuracy you’re holding onto?

Jay Carney: I’m not. I’m saying based on what I’ve seen in published reports and what the Attorney General said, I don’t see the conflict.

From CBS News, the White House defended Holder on Wednesday, with press secretary Jay Carney saying it was “self-evident” that Holder told the truth. “I think based on what he said, he testified truthfully,” Carney said. “The attorney general talked about prosecution,” he explained, while the case in question was completed with no further charges or prosecution slated. The truth? Carney, YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!! If Obama and his minions think that they are going to get away with parsing words and “it all dependes on what is, is” they are going to go down hard and the Democrat party in tow.

On May 15, Holder told the committee he wasn’t involved in “the potential prosecution” of a member of the press under the Espionage Act for disclosing classified information. “This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy,” he said.

Shortly thereafter, reports began to surface that the Justice Department, in addition to seizing telephone and email records of Associated Press reporters, had seized the the emails and phone records of Fox News correspondent James Rosen. While Holder had recused himself from the AP proceedings, the Washington Post reported that the attorney general had personally signed off on the search warrant for Rosen’s records.

In the search warrant, the FBI called Rosen a “criminal co-conspirator” and suggested there’s probable cause that he violated federal law. Rosen was not charged with any crime.

MSNBC Dead Last Among Cable Networks in Ratings Collapse … Rachel Maddow Show Has Lowest-Rated Month Since 2008 Debut

You mean people actually still watch MSLSD MSNBS MSNBC … How Low Can They Go?

It certainly does not come as a surprise that MSNBC’s ratings have hit the skids. Only die hard libs watch the network and with the Obama scandals with Benghazi, AP/Rosen and the IRS, even the most hearty libs cannot seem to stomach watching their Obamamessiah go down in flames. Honestly, MSNBC has become unwatchable.  I would sooner watch a 24 hour Honey Boo Boo marathon than have MSNBC programming inflicted upon me. Which is sad because I used to know folks there; however,  they have long since gone. MSNBC is down during the day 346,000 total viewers, down 10% (115,000 in 25-54, down 7 percent). And during prime time, MSNBC at 539,000 total viewers, down 20%. What, you mean folks don’t want to watch shows like, The Morning Joe I used to be a Republican, Hard Ball with Chris “a tingle up my leg” Matthews, Politics Nation with Al “Race Baiter” Sharpton, All In with who cares, and Rachael Maddow? Say it isn’t so. At what point does MSNBC clean house?

What is even more stunning is that FOX cable has more views than there other three competitors combined.

MSLSD

From the Hollywood Reporter:

Averaging 539,000 viewers in primetime and 175,000 viewers in the adults 25-54 demographic, MSNBC suffered double-digit drops from last May — down a respective 20 and 19 percent. Losses were less substantial in total day, down 10 percent to an average 346,000 viewers and down 7 percent to 115,000 adults 25-54, while all other nets pulled growth in multiple categories.

The soft start for All In With Chris Hayes has not helped. Hayes, down 32 percent in total viewers from The Ed Show last May, has offered a poor lead-in for MSNBC’s primetime flagship, The Rachel Maddow Show, at 9 p.m. The show delivered its lowest-rated month since it debuted in September 2008 (717,000 total viewers) and its second lowest with adults 25-54 (210,000). Maddow was topped by typical time slot victor Sean Hannity and CNN’s Piers Morgan.

Read the complete rankings, May 2013 versus May 2012, via Nielsen:

  • Primetime FNC: 1,973,000 total viewers, up 17 percent
  • CNN: 660,000 total viewers, up 70 percent
  • MSNBC: 539,000 total viewers, down 20 percent
  • HLN: 624,000 total viewers, up 91 percent
