CNN’s Van Jones Calls Trump-Russia story a ‘Nothing Burger’ in Latest Project Veritas Video

FAKE NEWS: MORE CNN PUNDITS CALLING TRUMP-RUSSIA STORY BS … THE LEAST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS.

So now it’s CNN’s Van Jones calling the Trump-Russia story a “nothing burger”. But wait, its not just a nothing burger, “its a BIG nothing burger.”

PV Reporter: What do you think is going to happen this week with the whole Russia thing?
Van Jones: The Russia thing is just a big nothing burger
PV Reporter: Really?
Jones: Yeah.
PV Reporter: You don’t think that…
Jones: There’s nothing there you can do.

This coming off the earlier Project Veritas video where a CNN producer was caught saying the Russia-Trump story was “mostly bullshit” and CNN was doing it for ratings.

CNN was hit Wednesday with a second undercover video, this one featuring regular political contributor Van Jones calling the Russia controversy a “nothing burger.”

The video shows Mr. Jones, a former Obama White House adviser, speaking on hidden camera after being greeted by a Project Veritas investigator.

“The Russia thing is just a big nothing burger,” Mr. Jones says on the clip.

The video comes a day after Project Veritas released footage showing CNN producer John Bonifield saying that CNN has pushed what he called the “bullsh—” Russia story in order to juice ratings.

Project Veritas Video American Pravda: CNN … Why Does CNN Do Trump/Russia Stories … The Ratings of Course

DOES CNN CARE ABOUT THE TRUTH? HELL NO, ITS ABOUT THE RATINGS!!!

From Project Veritas

Bonifield even further confirms CNN’s bias against the President, stating, “I think the President is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me…you have no real proof.”

Bonifield exposes that Russia has been great for CNN’s ratings, and that orders from CEO Jeff Zucker himself have directed CNN to pursue Russia leads at the expense of other stories. Bonifield states “And the CEO of CNN said in our internal meeting, he said ‘good job everybody covering the Climate Accords, but we’re done with it let’s get back to Russia.’”

He further comments on Russia, “it’s mostly bullshit right now. Like, we don’t have any giant proof…if it was something really good, it’d leak.”

More Fake News from CNN … CNN Deletes, Retracts Story Linking Trump and Russia

THE FAKE NEWS KEEPS COMING FROM CNN … FORCED TO RETRACT STORY

Just more fake news from CNN and another reason why they are no longer the most trusted name in news. In a continued effort to get President Donald Trump and falsely tie him with the Russians, CNN was forced to delete, retract and scrub their fake news story involving an investigation of a Russian investment fund with potential ties to several associates of President Donald Trump. This is what happens when a news outlet operates as a arm of the Democrat party and reports propaganda, not news. Whether this be considered fake news or wrong news, the fact of the matter is that CNN went with it because they hoped it was true news and another attempt to smear the Trump presidency.

cnn liar2

On Thursday evening, CNN investigative reporter Thomas Frank published a potentially explosive report involving an investigation of a Russian investment fund with potential ties to several associates of President Donald Trump.

But by Friday night, the story was removed from CNN’s website and all links were scrubbed from the network’s social media accounts.

“That story did not meet CNN’s editorial standards and has been retracted,” CNN said in an editors note posted in place of the story. “Links to the story have been disabled.”

Neither Frank or CNN immediately responded to requests for comment, and a spokesperson for the Senate Intelligence Committee wasn’t available to comment.

Frank, a Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist, had reported that the Senate Intelligence Committee was investigating a “$10-billion Russian investment fund whose chief executive met with a member of President Donald Trump’s transition team four days before Trump’s inauguration.”

In addition to retracting its story, CNN also apologized to Anthony Scaramucci, an adviser to Trump during the presidential campaign and a member of his transition team’s executive committee, who was mentioned in the story as having met Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) that the network said is overseen by Vnesheconombank, a state-run bank that is currently under U.S. sanctions.

James Comey Admits New York Times is Fake News! (VIDEO)

FORMER FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY ADMITS UNDER OATH THAT NEW YORK TIMES IS FAKE NEWS!!!

Well if you did not already know it, James Comey confirmed it. The New York Times is fake news. It is simply amazing the BS that the liberal MSM has been spewing to the American people. The MSM has disgraced themselves and their profession all because they cannot stand the occupant of the White House. So much for fairly reporting the news.

 NBC News transcript:

RISCH: OK. So – so, again, so the American people can understand this, that report by the New York Times was not true. Is that a fair statement?

COMEY: In — in the main, it was not true. And, again, all of you know this, maybe the American people don’t. The challenge — and I’m not picking on reporters about writing stories about classified information, is that people talking about it often don’t really know what’s going on.

And those of us who actually know what’s going on are not talking about it. And we don’t call the press to say, hey, you got that thing wrong about this sensitive topic. We just have to leave it there.

I mentioned to the chairman the nonsense around what influenced me to make the July 5th statement. Nonsense, but I can’t go explaining how it’s nonsense.

RISCH: Thank you.

All right. So — so those three things, we now know, regarding the active measures, whether (ph) the president’s under investigation and the collusion between the — the Russian — the Trump campaign and the Russians.

I — I want to drill right down, as my time is limited, to the most recent dust-up regarding allegations that the president of the United States obstructed justice. And, boy, you nailed this down on page 5, paragraph 3. You put this in quotes — words matter.

You wrote down the words so we can all have the words in front of us now. There’s 28 words there that are in quotes, and it says, quote, “I hope” — this is the president speaking — “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”

Now those are his exact words, is that correct?

COMEY: Correct.

RISCH: And you wrote them here, and you put them in quotes?

COMEY: Correct.

RISCH: Thank you for that. He did not direct you to let it go.

COMEY: Not in his words, no.

RISCH: He did not order you to let it go.

COMEY: Again, those words are not an order.

RISCH: He said, “I hope.” Now, like me, you probably did hundreds of cases, maybe thousands of cases charging people with criminal offenses. And, of course, you have knowledge of the thousands of cases out there that — where people have been charged.

Do you know of any case where a person has been charged for obstruction of justice or, for that matter, any other criminal offense, where this — they said, or thought, they hoped for an outcome?

COMEY: I don’t know well enough to answer. And the reason I keep saying his words is I took it as a direction.

RISCH: Right.

COMEY: I mean, this is the president of the United States, with me alone, saying, “I hope” this. I took it as, this is what he wants me to do.

COMEY: Now I — I didn’t obey that, but that’s the way I took it.

RISCH: You — you may have taken it as a direction, but that’s not what he said.

COMEY: Correct. I — that’s why…

RISCH: He said — he said, “I hope.”

COMEY: Those are exact words, correct.

RISCH: OK, do you (ph) — you don’t know of anyone that’s ever been charged for hoping something. Is that a fair statement?

President Trumps First 100 Days … Bias MSM Coverage 89% Negative

BIAS MEDIA, WHAT BIAS MEDIA?

As reported at MRC, the liberal bias media has been as unfair to newly elected President Donald Trump as any president in recent times. They refer it to as the honeymoon from hell. It is a far contrast from the MSM’s slobbering love affair hat they had with  their hero, Barack Obama. How did that work out for America? Softball questions and defending a liberal, lying president has turned into the most hostile press treatment of any incoming American president, with the broadcast networks punishing him with coverage that has been 89% negative. Don’t think that this is not lost on We the People.

As President Trump approaches the end of his first 100 days in office, he has received by far the most hostile press treatment of any incoming American president, with the broadcast networks punishing him with coverage that has been 89% negative. The networks largely ignored important national priorities such as jobs and the fight against ISIS, in favor of a news agenda that has been dominated by anti-Trump controversies and which closely matches what would be expected from an opposition party.

For example, President Trump’s push to invigorate the economy and bring back American jobs received a mere 18 minutes of coverage (less than one percent of all airtime devoted to the administration), while his moves to renegotiate various international trade deals resulted in less than 10 minutes of TV news airtime.

media-bias2

Eight years ago, in contrast, the broadcast networks rewarded new President Barack Obama with mainly positive spin, and spent hundreds of stories discussing the economic agenda of the incoming liberal administration.

For this study, MRC analysts reviewed all of ABC, CBS and NBC’s evening news coverage of Trump and his new administration from January 20 through April 9, including weekends. Coverage during those first 80 days was intense, as the networks churned out 869 stories about the new administration (737 full reports and 132 brief, anchor-read items), plus an additional 140 full reports focused on other topics but which also discussed the new administration.
