FNC STILL THE CABLE KING EVEN WITH ALL THE SO-CALLED LIBERAL BLUE WAVE …

The liberal MSM can claim all they want that some how uber-lib Rachel Maddow of MSNBC is on the same level as those at Fox News like Sean Hannity; however, they would be lying and that would be more fake news. The Fox News Channel is #1 and it is not even close. According to Nielsen Media Research for May 2018, FNC was #1 for the 197th consecutive month, and Fox News destroyed its competition, with an average total audience of 2.381 million viewers, compared to MSNBC’s 1.384 million and CNN’s 835,000. Also, Fox News had 10 of the top 15 shows in cable news, with Sean Hannity taking the title of highest-rated host in cable news. Hannity had an average total audience of 3.261 million, followed by MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show (2.627 million), and FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight (2.617 million), The Ingraham Angle (2.617 million) and The Five (2.153 million). Keep in mind that FNC completely changed their prime time line up and said good bye to the Bill O’Reilly and Megyn what’s her name and added Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham. They not only did not miss a beat, they got better.

What happened to the rise of MSNBC? After showing historic growth–and a few months in 2017 when Rachel Maddow took the title of most-watched host in all of cable news, beating Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity–the just-released results of the May ratings period look very familiar:Fox News won–everything.

In ratings data released Wednesday by Nielsen Media Research, FNC extended its run of consecutive months at number one to a staggering 197, while building hitting another impressive milestone: Fox News Channel has now beaten every other network in basic cable for 23 months straight, based on total day ratings, with an average total day audience in May of 1.4 million viewers.

In prime time, Fox News destroyed its competition, with an average total audience of 2.381 million viewers, compared to MSNBC’s 1.384 million and CNN’s 835,000.Among viewers 25-54, the group most coveted by advertisers, FNC shook off a challenge in recent months from MSNBC to claim a clear victory: 461,000 viewers, well ahead of MSNBC (329,000) and CNN (265,000).

So how could FNC possible beat all their liberal cable competitors when we have been told there is a “blue wave” of liberal discontent?

We have known for years that the MSM was liberal and bias; however, under the Trump presidency they have sunk to new low levels. This is not a matter of news stories that Trump did not like, these are false news stories just made up by the media. The liberal MSM just passes off opinion and their liberal agenda as fact. The #1 fake news story of 2017 was the preposterous one where the New York Times’ Paul Krugman claimed on the day of President Trump’s historic victory over Hillary Clinton that the economy would never recover. How ignorant and foolish could one possibly be?  Sorry Business Insider, if the news-media industry is in fact governed by a foundational set of ethical standards and doesn’t just write whatever they want to, then none of the stories below would have ever made public. The fact is there is only one standard for the media, pushing their liberal agenda and crafting stories to said agenda.

The media is trusted with First Amendment rights and freedom of speech. This is a great responsibility and not to be used to just provide hit jobs against individuals you do not like. If you dislike the president calling you “fake news” then print the truth. Provide the same media standard you did for Barack Obama to Trump. Because at this point, journalism is pretty much dead in the US.

3. CNN FALSELY reported that candidate Donald Trump and his son Donald J. Trump, Jr. had access to hacked documents from WikiLeaks.
4. TIME FALSELY reported that President Trump removed a bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. from the Oval Office.
5. Washington Post FALSELY reported the President’s massive sold-out rally in Pensacola, Florida was empty. Dishonest reporter showed picture of empty arena HOURS before crowd started pouring in.
6. CNN FALSELY edited a video to make it appear President Trump defiantly overfed fish during a visit with the Japanese prime minister. Japanese prime minister actually led the way with the feeding.
7. CNN FALSELY reported about Anthony Scaramucci’s meeting with a Russian, but retracted it due to a “significant breakdown in process.”8. Newsweek FALSELY reported that Polish First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda did not shake President Trump’s hand.
8. CNN FALSELY reported that former FBI Director James Comey would dispute President Trump’s claim that he was told he is not under investigation.
9. The New York Times FALSELY claimed on the front page that the Trump administration had hidden a climate report.
10. And last, but not least: “RUSSIA COLLUSION!” Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!

Why were 90% of news stories negative to President Donald Trump from the media? That hardly took place under 8 years of Obama. Where was the media on the incredibly accomplishments of the United States economy under President Trump like the economy creating nearly 2 million jobs and gained over $8 trillion in wealth since the President’s inauguration, African Americans and Hispanics enjoying the lowest unemployment rate in recorded history, the Trump tax cuts and relief for hardworking Americans, the corporate tax cuts that have provided bonuses and other benefits to over 2 million employees to date, Trump’s plan to cut regulations issuing 22 deregulatory actions for every one new regulatory action, the American energy boom by ending Obama-era regulations, approving the Keystone pipeline, auctioning off millions of new acres for energy exploration, and opening up ANWR, the threat of ISIS and their Caliphate being crushed in Iraq and Syria, and so many more.

According to the latest Pew Research poll the United States media is less trusted than media in any other country including Russia, Mexico, Ghana and Nigeria. Maybe even Haiti. The MSM in the U.S. has continued to be nothing more than the LEFT’s bias agenda for years; however, with the election of President Donald Trump, they have truly jumped the shark. The MSM does not care whether there are supportive facts or not in promoting their hate-Trump stories. Who cares whether the sources are credible? As long as the story-line fits the liberal media agenda, it is fit to print or show on TV. Sadly, the MSM has become nothing more than a political propaganda vehicle of the Democrat party.

PEW Research:

Publics around the world overwhelmingly agree that the news media should be unbiased in their coverage of political issues, according to a new Pew Research Center survey of 38 countries. Yet, when asked how their news media are doing on reporting different political issues fairly, people are far more mixed in their sentiments, with many saying their media do not deliver. And, in many countries, there are sharp political differences in views of the media – with the largest gap among Americans.

To build off Pew Research Center’s earlier findings about U.S. news media habits and attitudes, this new cross-national survey begins to study these dynamics globally. The survey finds that a median of 75% across 38 countries say it is never acceptable for a news organization to favor one political party over others when reporting the news. Just 20% say this is sometimes okay. People in Europe show the greatest opposition to political bias in their news, including 89% in Spain and 88% in Greece who think this is unacceptable. In the United States, 78% say the news media should never favor one political party over another. In only five countries do at least three-in-ten believe it is okay to favor one side.

One can look at this two ways, one; how Obama intended his negative and derisive words and two; thank God we care to be more enlightened and not sheeple listening to the bias, fake news liberal-Democrat media complex. So the former “Divider in Chief” Obama now does not insult Fox News, but its viewers? REALLY? Heaven forbid anyone have a differing opinion than the LEFT. In the case of Fox News, actually care enough to actually do some investigative journalism into what really went on during the Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton years? Add John Solomon at The Hill in as well and Sara Carter. Imagine what would have happened to your presidency had the liberal MSM done their job and investigated your Russian collusion with the Uranium One deal, Hillary Clinton’s private email servers and national security issues, illegal use of the NSA to spy on your enemies, the weaponize of the IRS against Obama enemies and the phony Steele dossiers used for FISA warrants, etc.

Former President Barack Obama resurfaced on Friday and took a shot at Fox News viewers, saying they’re “living on a different planet” than people who consume mainstream media.

Obama made the remarks on the premiere of the new monthly Netflix series “My next guest needs no introduction with David Letterman,” which hit the streaming service on Friday morning. Early in the episode, Obama asked Letterman about his retirement but the veteran talk show host quickly let the former president know who was boss.

“Now here’s how this is gonna work. I’m gonna ask you stuff, and then you respond to stuff,” Letterman joked.

Letterman then asked Obama what he considers the more dangerous threat to a democracy, the president demeaning the press or a foreign power sabotaging the voting process. Both options are clearly jabs at President Trump and Obama answered without mentioning the current president’s name.

“One of the biggest challenges we have to our democracy is the degree to which we don’t share a common baseline of facts,” Obama said. “If you watch Fox News, you are living on a different planet than you are if you are listening to NPR.”

Congressional Probe into Possible News Leaks by FBI Agents

THE FBI, DOJ, NSA & IRS ALL NEED TO BE PURGED …

As reported by John Soloman at The Hill, Republican-led House and Senate committees are investigating whether the individuals involved in the Russia counterintelligence investigation had contacts with the news media that resulted in improper leaks. That would be illegal leaks. Did FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page leak information to the media? UNREAL. The very people who are supposed to enforce the laws of the United States are the ones breaking them. But when its “Get Trump,” all things are allowed. These people and several others in the FBI, DOJ and throw in the IRS need to be tried and sent to prison. When America loses faith in these so-called apolitical entities, its over. As stated at Red State, “All signs point to FBI Text Messages Suggest Senior Agents Were Sources of Trump Dossier Leaks.”

Republican-led House and Senate committees are investigating whether leaders of the Russia counterintelligence investigation had contacts with the news media that resulted in improper leaks, prompted in part by text messages amongst senior FBI officials mentioning specific reporters, news organizations and articles.

In one exchange, FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page engaged in a series of texts shortly before Election Day 2016 suggesting they knew in advance about an article in The Wall Street Journal and would need to feign stumbling onto the story so it could be shared with colleagues.

“Article is out, but hidden behind paywall so can’t read it,” Page texted Strzok on Oct. 24, 2016.

“Wsj? Boy that was fast,” Strzok texted back, using the initials of the famed financial newspaper. “Should I ‘find’ it and tell the team?”

The text messages, which were reviewed by The Hill, show the two FBI agents discussed how they might make it appear they innocently discovered the article, such as through Google News alerts.

“I can get it like I do every other article that hits any Google News alerts, seriously,” Strzok wrote, adding he didn’t want his team hearing about the article “from someone else.”
