Ted Cruz Says Media is Sitting on Bombshells about Donald Trump
TED CRUZ SAYS MSM SITTING ON BOMBSHELLS AND WILL RELEASE IT TO HELP HILLARY …
Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz said on CBS’s “Face The Nation” Sunday that the MSM is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year when many think Trump will be facing Hillary Clinton in a general presidential campaign. If the media does have some explosive news that would harm Trump that is certainly the time they would use it. Of course, the Trump supporters are crying foul and calling Ted Cruz on his dirty tricks. Really folks, after all that Donald Trump as said and continues to say, you are calling anyone out? Ted Cruz insists there is a “bombshell” in Trump’s tax returns. Even if that is true, one has to wonder in this election cycle whether it will make a difference or people will care.
Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) said on Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.
“I think an awful lot of reporters — I can’t tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, ‘You know what? We’re going to hold it to June or July,’” Cruz said on CBS’s “Face The Nation” Sunday.
“We’re not going to run it now.”
Cruz said the media has given the front-runner “hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising.” Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this “phenomenon.”
“And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you’d better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart,” he said.
Cruz called out the media, saying one of the reasons they want Trump to be the eventual nominee is because they know he can’t beat Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary would wallop him,” Cruz said.
“Donald may be the only person on the face of the planet that Hillary Clinton can beat.”

CBS Sports Basketball Analyst Greg Anthony Arrested on Solicitation of Prostitution Charge (Update: Anthony Suspended Indefinitely)
RUT-ROH …
CBS basketball analyst and former NBA player Greg Anthony has been arrested and charged with soliciting a prostitute in the District of Columbia. According to reports, Anthony was arrested at 5:47 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Rhode Island Avenue NW. Greg Anthony faces a misdemeanor solicitation charge that’s punishable by up to 180 days in jail. He was released from jail on Friday night, but this is only the beginning of Antony’s problems. The story was originally broke by ABC 7/WJLA.
Greg Anthony
Lt. Kelvin Cusick tells The Associated Press that Anthony was arrested at 5:46 p.m. on Friday. He said Saturday that Anthony faces a misdemeanor solicitation charge that’s punishable by up to 180 days in jail.
Cusick says the 47-year-old Anthony was released Friday evening. No further details were available.
According to the NCAA website, Anthony was scheduled to announce the Michigan State-Maryland men’s basketball game Saturday in nearby College Park, Maryland.
UPDATE I: Greg Anthony suspended indefinitely by CBS.
CBS announced Saturday morning that Anthony has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest on solicitation charges.
A CBS spokeswoman says “Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season.”
Turner Sports also suspended the TV commentator and says it “will have no further comment.”
UPDATE II: Greg Anthony issued an apology on Saturday to his wife, family and colleagues.
How could some one just piss away their entire career like this? He has ruined his entire life over sex with a prostitute. UNREAL. Most likely this is the cockroach principle, for ever one you see, there are hundreds you do not.
“With this lapse of judgment, I embarrassed many, including myself,” he said. “I will work to regain the trust that I have lost, and the first step is saying that I am sorry.”

CBS Face the Nation Host Bob Schieffer Dumb Struck by Obamacare Adviser Jonathan Gruber’s Comments … “I Am Not Wild About the New Plan and How It Became Law Either”
I wonder who was more “dumb struck” this Sunday morning, CBS Bob Shiefer or the public watching CBS and hearing for the first hearing Jonathan Gruber’s name and that an Obamacare adviser called them stupid?
This Sunday on CBS ‘Face the Nation,’ Bob Shieffer provided an editorial that was interesting on a couple of levels. First, how many time do news viewers hear an editorial that is breaking news? CBS News has not covered this story, unless you count the 13 seconds on The Eye Opener. Second, we learned that Shieffer, a lib, is not a fan of Obamacare, nor how the plan became law. However, Bob does need a little learning to have a couple of his questions answered. Mr. Schieffer, Gruber does not think the plan was bad. In fact, he likes it. He, like Barack Obama, knew that the truth of Obamacare would never pass, that is why they lied to the American people. But the ends justify the means and lying to “We the People” is fine in their book.
I was dumbstruck when I heard the comments surfacing from and economist named Jonathan Gruber who was paid $400,000 to help shape the presidents health care plan. First, he told us how the plan passed only because a lack of transparency and this is a direct quote, ‘the stupidity of the American people’. [...] I’ll be honest, while I favor health insurance, I am not wild about the new plan and how it became law either. Here is my question for Mr. Gruber, if all this was as bad as you say, why did you take the money you earned as an adviser? Nor is it to late to give it back. What we have here is another example of the sorry state of American politics where people take money for things in which they don’t believe and whether it is good for the America people is not even a question.
No, what we have here is a sorry state of American politics where we have a President of the United States who perpetrated the greatest hoax on the American people and a complicit media who cared Obama’s water by never asking any questions about a health care plan that many knew was a lie. Let’s get some facts correct, the “stupidity of the American people” that Gruber is referring to is Obamacare supporters, not Conservatives and Republicans. Take a look at the Obamacare polls from the outset at RCP, it has always been widely opposed.
A government, no matter what party is in office, is supposed to be questioned by an unbiased media. The Press is supposed to protect us from an out of control government, not be their propaganda machine. However, today’s MSM has no concept why the US Constitution provided Freedom of the Press.
The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. See U.S. Const. amend. I. Freedom of expression consists of the rights to freedom of speech, press, assembly and to petition the government for a redress of grievances, and the implied rights of association and belief. The Supreme Court interprets the extent of the protection afforded to these rights. The First Amendment has been interpreted by the Court as applying to the entire federal government even though it is only expressly applicable to Congress. Furthermore, the Court has interpreted, the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment as protecting the rights in the First Amendment from interference by state governments.

Obama Just Doesn’t Care What Americans Think, He is That Out of Touch … President Barack Obama Says That He & Team Obama Did Not Succeed in Effectively Selling His Policies
Barack Obama, the American people just don’t know the good things I have done for them …
In an interview this weekend with Bob Schieffer on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation,’ Barack Hussein Obama said that he took responsibility for the disastrous midterm election loses by Democrats last Tuesday and the “Buck stops with him”. Well kinda, there will be no confusing Obama with Harry S. Truman as a leader taking responsibility for his actions, policies and agenda. As reported at the NY Times Obama said, “that he and his White House team had not succeeded in effectively selling the benefits of his policies to the American people.” HUH? Then the out of touch Obama said, “It’s not enough just to build a better mousetrap, We’ve got to sell it.” WHAT? Barack Obama has yet to lead as president during his previous 6 years, all he has done is campaign and try to sell his snake oil. This fool actually believes his policies are good and the American people are just too stupid to realize their benefits, because he and Team Obama have not properly bull-shitted them. UNREAL. This president actually thinks his policies are good for Americans, even though all the signs show otherwise. As former Florida House Rep. Allen West said back in 2012, “Barack Obama is serving America a crap sandwich with a smile on his face … But it’s still a crap sandwich.”
Just days after his party was routed in the midterm elections, President Obama said that he and his White House team had not succeeded in effectively selling the benefits of his policies to the American people, calling it a “failure of politics” that he must change in the final two years of his presidency.
“It’s not enough just to build a better mousetrap,” Mr. Obama said in an interview that was taped Friday at the White House and broadcast Sunday on the 60th anniversary of CBS’s “Face the Nation” program. “People don’t automatically come beating to your door. We’ve got to sell it. We’ve got to reach out to the other side and, where possible, persuade.”
Mr. Obama acknowledged bluntly that “we got beat” in the elections on Tuesday and said that the Democratic losses prompted him to have a “gut check” about what he needed to do differently. But as he has in the past, the president defended the merits of his administration’s policies, blaming the election results on a poor communications effort in the White House.
“There are times, there’s no doubt about it, where, you know I think we have not been successful in going out there and letting people know what it is that we’re trying to do and why this is the right direction,” Mr. Obama said.
Discussion of the 2014 midterm “ass-whuppin” begins at 3:52.
CBS – Face the Nation Transcript: [SM editors notes in blue]
BOB SCHIEFFER: I want to get back to foreign policy but I also want to ask you about what happened on Tuesday.
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: We got beaten.
BOB SCHIEFFER: Yeah. Harry Truman once famously said if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog. [Where is Bo these days?] And I thought of that when I heard the chief of staff of the Democratic leader of the Senate, Harry Reid say and this is his quote, “The President’s approval rating is basically forty percent. What else more is there to say?” He’s basically saying it was your fault. Do you feel it was your fault?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Well, look, another saying of Harry Truman’s was, the buck stops with me. With me, the buck stops right here at my desk. And so whenever, as the head of the party, it doesn’t do well, I’ve got to take responsibility for it. The message that I took from this election and we’ve seen this in a number of elections, successive elections, is people want to see this city work. [So the message Obama took is that people want to see DC to work, that is why they soundly rejected Democrats, the GOP gained more House seats, won what will be a net 9 US Senate seats in gaining control and governorships in states like Mass, Illinois and Delaware? So in order for Washington to work the people said we want GOP control and policies.] And they feel as if it’s not working. The economy has improved significantly. [Really the economy has improved? A record number of Americans are on food stamps, the job participation rate is at an all-time low and Americans who had lost their well-paying full time jobs have replaced them with part time and ones paying much, much less. Sorry Barack, Americans know the economy is not better.] There’s no doubt about it. We had a jobs report for October that showed that once again over two hundred thousand jobs created. [Tell some one now making $15 an hour when they previously made $30 that their new job is fantastic]. We’ve now created more than ten million. The unemployment rate has come down faster than we could have anticipated. Just to give you some perspective, Bob, we’ve created more jobs in the United States than every other advanced economy combined since I came into office. And so we’re making progress but people still feel like their wages haven’t gone up, their incomes haven’t gone up, still hard to save for retirement, still hard to send a kid to college. And then they see Washington gridlocked and they’re frustrated. And, you know, they know one person in Washington and that’s the President of the United States. So I’ve got to make this city work better for them. [No, you and your socialist policies need to get out of the way for the US economy to flourish.]
BOB SCHIEFFER: But is it what you thought it would be?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: You know, here– here is one thing that I will say that campaigning and governance are two different things. I’ve ran two successful campaigns. [No, you rode to victory in 2008 on the myth that you were a different kind of politician and were aided by an all too willing MSM that refused to vet you. Then in 2012, you stole the election visa-vie the IRS attacking conservative non-profit groups. Then there are the numeous scandals like Benghazi-gate where the Obama administration purposely lied to the American people as to what happened prior to the 2012 presidential election]. And anybody who has seen me on the campaign trail can tell how much I love just being with the American people. And hearing what they care about and what– you know how passionate I am about trying to help them. When you start governing, there is a tendency sometimes for me to start thinking. As long as I get the policy right then that’s what should matter. And, you know, people have asked, you know, what you need to do differently going forward and I think you do that, you got to check after every election.
BOB SCHIEFFER: What do you need to do differently?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: And I think that one thing that I do need to constantly remind myself and my team are is it’s not enough just to build the better mousetrap. [What a fitting term, mousetraps kill things.] People don’t automatically come beating to your door. We’ve got to sell it, we’ve got to reach out to the other side and where possible persuade. And I think there are times, there’s no doubt about it where, you know, I think we have not been successful in going out there and letting people know what it is that we are trying to do and why this is the right direction. So there– there is a failure of politics there that we have got– we got to improve on. [How long have they had to sell Obamacare, the Obama economy and his agenda? What do they need, another 20 years? They people do not need to be sold anything, they experience it every day.]
BOB SCHIEFFER: What criticisms of your administration do you think are valid?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Well, I just mentioned one. I think that what is also true is that, you know, no matter how frustrating it can sometimes be for any President to deal with an opposition that has, yeah, pretty stubborn, and where there are really strong differences, you just got to keep on trying. [Code for, I just following the teachings of Saul Alinsky and double down on my failed, hated policies].
The folks at ‘This is Spinal Tap’ weigh in on the Obama presidency … The review on Shark sandwich is pretty much the same as the one for the Obama agenda, and yes, they can say that.
