The lead Sanford Police investigator,Officer Chris Serino, says that he was pressured to file charges against George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, even though he did not think there was enough evidence in the case. Documents released recently in the George Zimmerman investigation show that he is not a racist.

The lead Sanford Police investigator who sought manslaughter charges against George Zimmerman told the FBI that a sergeant and two other officers tried to pressure him into making an arrest in the controversial case — even though he didn’t think there was enough evidence.

Sanford Police Officer Chris Serino first made headlines when evidence released in the case showed he sought manslaughter charges against Zimmerman even while his chief publicly said there was no probable cause to arrest him. But a document released late Thursday casts doubt on Serino’s prior sworn affidavit seeking criminal charges, and raises questions about the credibility of the star law-enforcement witness in the murder case against Zimmerman for the shooting death of a black teenager, Miami Gardens high school junior Trayvon Martin..

Telling the FBI that he was concerned that people inside the police department were leaking information, Serino cited Sgt. Arthur Barnes, officers Rebecca Villalona and Trekelle Perkins “as all pressuring him to file charges against Zimmerman after the incident,” an FBI report said. “Serino did not believe he had enough evidence at the time to file charges.”

Metallica lead singer James Hetfield appears in an online video asking the public for help for tips in the death of Morgan Harrington. The 20 year old girl  went missing when she was last seen leaving a Metallica concert on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville on Oct. 17, 2009. Harrington’s skeletonized body was found three months later in a hayfield on a remote farm in Albemarle County, VA, about 10 miles from the concert venue.

Metallica is helping law enforcement authorities try to find the killer of a Virginia Tech student who disappeared from an October 2009 concert by the heavy metal band in Charlottesville, Va.

As part of an FBI multimedia campaign announced Wednesday, Metallica lead singer James Hetfield appears in an online video appealing to the public for tips in the death of Morgan Harrington.

The FBI claims that it has DNA evidence linking the unknown suspect to a sexual assault in Fairfax, VA  in 2005. The case was of a 26-year-old woman was attacked at night while walking home from a grocery store. The attacker was scared away by a passer-by. The victim got a good look at the man, enabling a Fairfax city police artist to produce an initial sketch of the attacker.

As part of the campaign, enhanced composite sketches of the suspect will appear on bus shelters in Washington, D.C., and on digital billboards there, the cities of Roanoke and Richmond and 23 states along the East Coast. Corinne Geller, a state police spokeswoman, said it is her understanding that Charlottesville does not have digital billboards.

Other components include a website dedicated to the Harrington case, the announcement by Metallica’s Hetfield urging anyone with information about the case to come forward, social media outreach and more.

Los Angeles Based FBI Agent 35 Year Old Stephen Ivens Missing, Last Seen Thursday Evening May 10, 2012 … Belived Armed and Suicidal

35 year old Stephen Ivens, a Los Angeles based FBI agent specializing in national security, is missing and was last seen by his family late Thursday evening, May 10, 2012. Stephen Ivens is believed to be suicidal and possibly carrying a handgun. Ivens has been with the FBI 3 years.  There has been an extensive search and manhunt for the missing FBI agent. It is believed that foul play was not suspected and Ivens was not believed to pose a threat to others. There has been no reports as to why authorities consider Ivens’ despondent and suicidal.

Stephen Ivens, 35, a Los Angeles-based agent specializing in national security, was last seen Friday at his home in the 1700 block of Scott Road in Burbank. He may have headed into the rugged Verdugo Mountains, officials said. Also missing from the home he shared with his wife and 1-year-old son is his handgun, officials said.

Officials would not reveal why they believe Ivens may be suicidal.

“He’s been a valuable member of our office,” said FBI Special Agent Steve Gomez.

FBI Special Agent Steve Gomez said dogs had tracked Ivens’ scent toward the rugged Verdugo Mountains, but searchers spread out throughout Los Angeles County.

A 40-member search-and-rescue team from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department along with a dozen Burbank police officers were assisting about 100 FBI agents in the search, officials said.

It was the largest search in Burbank in 20 years, said Capt. Denis Cremins of the Burbank Police Department.

Law enforcement officers in Southern California have launched a massive search in rugged mountain terrain for a missing FBI agent who was said to be despondent and possibly suicidal.

FBI Special Agent Steve Gomez said dogs had tracked Ivens’ scent toward the rugged Verdugo Mountains, east of Burbank, but searchers were fanning out throughout Los Angeles County.

Suspect Adam Mayes Added to FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List … Charged with Murder of Jo Ann Bain & Adrienne Bain … 12 year old Alexandria Bain & 8 Year Old Kyliyah Bain Still Missing

Charges escalate from “especially aggravated kidnapping” to “first degree murder” …

Suspect Adam Christopher Mayes, wanted in the disappearance and kidnapping of 12 year old Alexandria Bain and her 8 year old Kyliyah Bain has been added to the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List.  The FBI has also added $100,000 to the reward fund offered for a break in the case. Adam Hayes has also just been charged with two counts of first degree murder in the death of Tennessee mom Jo Ann Bain and her 14 year old daughter Adrienne Bain. Adam’s wife, Teresa Mayes has also been charged with two counts of first degree murder. Previously, Teresa Mayes had been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping.

In an affidavit, Teresa Mayes said she was there when Adam Mayes killed Jo Ann Bain in a  garage next to their home and that Adam Mayes also killed 14-year-old Adrienne Bain at that location.

Teresa Mayes also said her husband planned to kidnap Alexandria and Kyliyah.

Adam Mayes’ mother Mary is charged with four counts of Conspiracy To Commit Especially Aggravated Kidnapping.

The FBI added the suspect, Adam Mayes, to its list of 10 most wanted fugitives and added $100,000 to the reward fund offered for a break in the case. Mayes has been charged with killing Jo Ann Bain and her eldest daughter, Adrienne, in late April, but authorities believe he is still holding Bain’s younger daughters, 12-year-old Alexandria and 8-year-old Kyliyah.

“From an investigative standpoint, we keenly and firmly believe that Adam Mayes is out here somewhere with these two young children,” said Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. “And it’s going to be up to the public to help us if we’re to bring these children back home and place him in custody where he needs to be.”

As stated at Blink on Crime, “Adam Mayes believes Alexandria and Kyliyah are HIS DAUGHTERS and they were set to move to Arizona.” This can explain why only the mother and eldest daughter were killed and the two youngest are still believed to be alive as per the FBI.

Mayes’ mother-in-law told The Associated Press that Mayes thought he might be the girls’ father and it caused trouble in the marriage to her daughter, who’s jailed in the case.

VIDEO interview below with the sister of Tersa Bain, Bobbi Booth, who spoke to CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Tuesday about Adam Mayes and his relationship with her sister, who she said has mental health problems.

“I’ve known Adam for at least 25 years, and he’s always been weird and unusual … but I never dreamed he would do something like this,” she said.

She described him as aggressive and not trustworthy. He beat and threatened to kill her sister, said Booth, who pleaded with him to “do the right thing.”

Douglas Wright, 26, Brandon Baxter, 20, and Anthony Hayne, 35, Conner Stevens, 20 and Joshua Stafford, 23 have been charged with conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce.

Five anarchist affiliated with the Occupy Cleveland protest movement were arrested by the FBI yesterday for plotting to blow up a Cleveland, Ohio bridge, attacking an upcoming NATO summit in Chicago and the Republican National Convention in Florida. But really, they are a peaceful movement, just ask them.  The Occupy Cleveland was forced to cancel their protests.

Occupy Cleveland canceled a scheduled rally Tuesday after a group of men connected to the organization were arrested by the FBI.

In a news release, Occupy Cleveland said the five men arrested in a terror plot to blow up the Route 82 bridge in Brecksville were “in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland” and Occupy is rooted in non-violent principles.

The five Occupy terrorists have been charged with conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce. The Occupy Cleveland folks tried to distance themselves, much to no avail. Sorry, but I could only imagine that if this was anyone affiliated with the Tea Party. The MSM would have front page and headline news that they were associated with the right wing Tea Party.
