Muslim Man Mohamed Ibrahim Arrested in Memphis, TN for Making Bomb Threats & Wanting to start a Jihad Holy War

WHAT!!! DID THE SYSTEM WORK LIKE CLOCKWORK AGAIN!

Mohamed Ibrahim, a man claiming to be Muslim was arrested and released on $100 bond after he walked into several Memphis, Tennessee businesses and threatened to blow them up in the name of jihad and a Holy War.

Tonight, Mohamed Ibrahim is out after posting $100 bond. Earlier in the day, he was arrested after police say he walked into several Memphis businesses and threatened to blow them up.

Court records show Ibrahim was also telling people he was Muslim, and wanted to start a jihad, or holy war, in Memphis.

Police say when they arrested him, he had a butcher knife hidden in one of his jacket sleeves.

What on Earth are we doing in this country? A man was making terrorist threats, claiming to be Muslim, blowing up businesses, all in the name of jihad and had a weapon on him and we release him into the community on $100 bail!!! HUH!!!

But Jihad Watch has it correct … its all just a Muslim, jihad misunderstanding. No sarcasm here. Looks like Atlas Shrugs nails it too … “The judge is either blind, deaf and dumb, an Islamist, a Democrat or a Muslim.”

Now he is free on $100 bond. Clearly this far-seeing and right-thinking judge understands that Islam is a Religion of Peace™, and that therefore this man only intended to butcher his sinful inclinations, as part of his inner spiritual struggle to conform his life to the will of Allah.

So when this individual winds up killing some one or blowing some thing up, are we going to say the system worked like clockwork again?

Daily Commentary – Tuesday, November 24th, 2009 – Accused Terrorists to Plead Not Guilty at Trial

  • In a move that should not surprise anyone, the alleged terrorists set for trial in New York plan to plead not guilty in order to air their criticism of U.S. foreign policy.

So President Barack Obama and AG Holder do do think this is going to be a show trial and a farce putting US foreign policy on trial and not the terrorists, eh? Grow up. One truly must ask what Obama’s purpose is behind making this trial public except to put GWB, Cheney and the CIA & water boarding on trial.

Of course the trial is going to provide a platform for these terrorists for their propaganda. As Stop the ACLU states, “anyone with an IQ of about 40 could see this would happen. What’s Obama and Holder’s excuse? Or do they want the Islamic terrorists to view their criticisms?”

The five men facing trial in the Sept. 11 attacks will plead not guilty so that they can air their criticisms of U.S. foreign policy, the lawyer for one of the defendants said Sunday.
Scott Fenstermaker, the lawyer for accused terrorist Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, said the men would not deny their role in the 2001 attacks but “would explain what happened and why they did it.”
What is the motivation why Obama and his AG would take these terrorists out of a military tribunal and place them in civilian criminal court? How will this not become a 3 ring circus? Dean Boyd, a spokesman for the Department of Justice stated the following in regards to the trial being presided over appropriately.
Dean Boyd, a spokesman for the Department of Justice, said Sunday that while the men may attempt to use the trial to express their views, “we have full confidence in the ability of the courts and in particular the federal judge who may preside over the trial to ensure that the proceeding is conducted appropriately and with minimal disruption, as federal courts have done in the past.”
These people better hope so because of majority of Americans do not feel that these terrorists should be afforded the rights of Americans in a US criminal court and the backlash against Obama could be something fierce.

Magistrate Judge Rules Major Nidal Hasan to Remain in Military Hospital until Court Martial … Lawyer Says Hasan Paralyzed & in Pain

According to Saturday’s hospital bed side hearing, Major Nidal Hasan will remain confined to the hospital where he presently is in pre-trial confinement until his court martial takes place. Maj. Nidal Hasan is being held for the first degree murder of 13 individuals, which should be 14, as some actually ponder whether this was a terror act or not.

During a hearing at Maj. Nidal Hasan’s hospital room in San Antonio on Saturday, a magistrate ruled that there was probable cause that Hasan committed the Nov. 5 shooting at Fort Hood, said his civilian attorney, John Galligan. Hasan has been at Brooke Army Medical Center since the shooting that killed 13 and wounded two dozen others.

Galligan told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that the judge also ordered Hasan to pretrial confinement, which usually means jail, until his court martial. The military justice system does not have bail for defendants.

As per Hasan’s attorney John Galligan, the magistrate ruled that Hasan will initially remain in the hospital, where he is in intensive care. Hasan is recovering from gun shot wounds and has no feeling from the chest down and has limited movement in his arms. Hasan has been told his paralysis is permanent.

Galligan Wants Military Justice System to Move More Slowly, Says Accused Fort Hood Shooter is in Severe Pain

Cry us a river, no one cares whether Hasan is in severe pain. Actually, if we were to take a poll most Americans would hope that a murdering, terrorist pig like Hasan was in pain. I guess being paralyzed from the chest down means he wont feel it when he is put in front of a firing squad. Also, don’t be too concerned about your paralysis is permanent. Your life expectancy should not be all that long.

Daily Commentary – Thursday, November 19th, 2009 – Sympathy for Bad Behavior

  • Dana reads and responds to a comment from a listener, Texas Grandfather, about youth crime and judges sympathy for bad behavior. How should we treat juvenile offenders? How should we treat repeat offenders? The problem with the system today is sympathy for bad behavior, over and over again. There are no consequences and sympathy for bad behavior. Add them both up and we have a problem.
