SNL: Barack Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize and Powerball on First Try … “I won the Nobel for not being George Bush.”
SNL mocks Barack Obama for winning the Nobel Peace Prize. I guess SNL is siding with the terrorists as well for laughing and making mock of Barack Obama?
Obama: “I won the Nobel for not being George Bush.”
Obama: “This award comes as a complete surprise as I have only been not George W. Bush for 9 months.”
The sad reality is that in order to have been nominated to make the Feb 1st deadline, Barack Obama only had to not be GWB for 11 days.
It appears that Barack Obama has also won the Power Ball lottery on his first try. Next up, the Heisman. Is it too late to nominate Barack Obama as the MVP of MLB? After all, The One did have quite an impressive opening pitch at this years All-Star game, not!
Just as a reminder for those who may have missed the comments from the DNC, via the Politico. Who dare mock and make fun of “The One”, the “Obamamessiah”.
“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists – the Taliban and Hamas this morning – in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO. “Republicans cheered when America failed to land the Olympics and now they are criticizing the President of the United States for receiving the Nobel Peace prize – an award he did not seek but that is nonetheless an honor in which every American can take great pride – unless of course you are the Republican Party.
“The 2009 version of the Republican Party has no boundaries, has no shame and has proved that they will put politics above patriotism at every turn. It’s no wonder only 20 percent of Americans admit to being Republicans anymore – it’s an embarrassing label to claim,” Woodhouse said.

Life Imitating Satire … The Nobel Peace Prize Becomes the Ultimate Joke to SNL’s “Do Nothing” Obama Presidency
How comical and absurd was Obama’s being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? Saturday Night Live’s satire of their liberal Obamamessiah President as a record of nothing and a do nothing Commander and Chief was more of an actual commentary as to The One’s time in office than a spoof.
Last week we commented on SNL’s scathing satire of Barack Obama and his “do nothing” Presidency. SNL stated, Obama was not a socialist. Barack Obama had a RECORD OF NOTHING. Almost one year and nothing to show for it …
One really glaring issue is brought up in the humorous comparison between SNL and the Noble Peace Prize decision. SNL stated one year and Obama has done nothing so it begs to ask the question what did Obama do in 11 days as President? Would not the nomination of a Nobel candidate have to include their accomplishments? How could the Nobel Peace Prize committee consider accomplishments of a nominee that were not on an application? Hmm? The answer is, you can’t.
The deadline for nominations is Feb. 1, meaning the president was nominated after being in office for just 11 days.
The award is “extraordinarily unprecedented,” Michael Worek, author of “Nobel: A Century of Prize Winners,” told ABC News.
“It would be like awarding the Oscar halfway through the movie. You’re not saying it’s a bad movie, you aren’t knocking it. But we just don’t know how it ends,” Worek said.
However, the writers at SNL were out done this past week on the comedy front. Barack “a record of nothing” Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for literally doing nothing. When it was first announced that Obama won the award the first thing people did was check the calendar to make sure that it was not April Fool’s Day. Who didn’t think that this was a goof or a news report from either The Onion or Scrappleface when they were read it?

National Organization for Women (NOW) Blasts David Letterman Over Affair with Staff … “promoting a hostile, uncomfortable work environment”
Wow, who saw this coming? NOW goes after Letterman … promoting a hostile, uncomfortable work environment.
It appears that NOW does not find David Letterman’s affair a laughing matter.
You’ve come a long way baby, except on the David Letterman Show
NOW, the National Organization for Women has sharply criticized comedian David Letterman, accusing him of promoting a hostile, uncomfortable work environment. Yes, that’s exactly what he did by having an affair with a staffer. When one is in charge of hiring and firing, who is to say what another perceives on what is the standard into getting ahead.
NOW gets a hat tip for speaking out against Letterman.
“The latest Letterman controversy sheds new light on the widespread objectification of women in the workplace,” NOW said in a statement Tuesday. “Most women can attest to the fact that many workplaces are plagued with inappropriate behavior by men in power.”
The “Late Show With David Letterman” host admitted last week on his CBS program that he had sex with unnamed employees and had testified about those liaisons before a New York grand jury as part of an alleged extortion attempt.
David Letterman Affair Scandal Boosts Rating … Rewarding Bad Behavior & Hypocrisy
Affair scandal is suck a ratings winner that maybe Letterman will make this a permanent piece on the show like the Top 10 List. Maybe he can call it “Stupid Dave getting Tricks”.
Hmm, how can I turn this affair into a ratings grabber?
The Letterman apology for his cheating ways with having affairs with staffers of The David Letterman Show have boosted his ratings. How sad that Letterman be rewarded for bad behavior and embarrassing his wife.
His apologies meant another big night in the ratings. The Nielsen Co.’s overnight measurement of the nation’s 56 biggest markets netted Letterman’s “Late Show” a 4.2 rating – higher than anything rival NBC had in prime-time.
Nielsen didn’t immediately have an estimate of the size of Letterman’s audience. The overnight rating was slightly less than Thursday’s show, when 5.8 million people watched Letterman say he had been the victim of a $2 million blackmail threat that led him to reveal he had sex with staff members.
ABC asks the question whether David Letterman’s apology will work. Work how? It already has in the ratings and to those in TV land, what else matters? Letterman has been public about his being a “victim” in all this, but what about the staffers? And what about his wife!

Could Oakland Raiders Coach Tom Cable be Arrested for Assault and Face suspension by NFL … Would Anyone Notice?
The Oakland Raiders face the possibility of not having head coach Tom Cable. It is being widely speculated that Cable will be arrested soon in relation to an alleged assault on an assistant coach. Tom Cable could face criminal charges and a possible suspension from the NFL for violation of the personal conduct policy.
Although Napa Valley (Calif.) police have declined to comment on the investigation, NFL.com quoted the attorney for Raiders assistant coach Randy Hanson as saying that Hanson told police he had been assaulted by Cable on Aug. 5 while the Raiders were in training camp. Hanson was treated for a broken jaw and his attorney, San Francisco-based John McGuinn, said three other coaches, including Marshall, witnessed the attack.
Hell, let the Silver & Black Raiderette Cheerleader attack coach the team. Could they do any worse and a great marketing ploy
I guess the first question is, would anyone notice if Cable was gone? The Oakland Raiders have been so bad as a football team that one would surmise that of they let the Raider mascot coach the team, nobody might notice. Second, the manner in which the team has played and the way in which the Raider organization has run football operations of late might be deemed criminal as well. Can they all be arrested as well?
Fresh off a Sunday dismantling by the Houston Texans 29–6, maybe an arrest would be a welcome change? One thing is for certain, Cable’s punch of Raider’s assistant might be the only hit that the Raiders have done all year. Maybe for the past couple of years. It’s become pretty pathetic when the best hit the Raiders can boat of is when their own coach punches an assistant.
How could such a storied franchise like the “Just Win Baby” Raiders have fallen so far?
