Hey America Shoppers … Get a Clue as to The Reason for the Season (Crazed Shoppers, Arrests, Insanity)

What the hell is wrong with people?

During the Christmas holiday season, hopefully American shoppers can remember the “REASON FOR THE SEASON”. Hint, it’s not about waiting foolishly in line for hours awaiting a store to open at 4am on Black Friday. It’s not about acting like a third world country rushing a caravan for food, while you storm into a store trampling over people like you are at a 1979 Who concert in Cincinnati..

It would appear that Black Friday 2010 and consumerism has brought out the worst in many. Just a reminder to many misguided people, learn a Christmas lesson from Linus Van Pelt as to what Christmas is all about:

And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, ‘Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.’ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Shoppers waited out in the cold wet weather for hours for the Target doors to open at 4 a.m. the Black Friday when they decided to trample each other.

US Senator John Kerry (MA-D) Christmas … “The Season of Giving” to Me

John Kerry not quite understanding that giving is better than to receive …

John Kerry, the senior US Senator from Massachusetts, seems to have misread the meaning of the Christmas and the season of giving. Kerry rented out the Boston Symphony, where tickets range from $75 to $4,800 for his political fund raising extravaganza.

Tis the season to be giving to Me

Obviously, the high browed, Democrat eleite has not figured out that there is political fatigue or during this Christmas season, a tough economy. BTW, Kerry does not face reelection for four years.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by them. ~JFK

George Washington’s 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation, The First Thanksgiving Observance:

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to “recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:”

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

Given under my hand, at the city of New York, the 3d day of October, A.D. 1789.

Little Boy Dresses up with Joker Face for Halloweed at the White House … What Mask was Obama Wearing?

Hey Barack, Why so serious

Every day these days is a scary one at the Obama White House; however, last night Michelle and Barack Obama handed out candy healthy apples, fruit and figs to the kids for Halloween. A funny thing happened on the way to the candy receiving line … a little boy dressed up with the “joker” face. Come on folks, go with it …

As the Gateway Pundit stated, too bad the boy did not where his “socialist” t-shirt. Enjoy your raisins and dried fruit. Hey Jim, you forgot to mention the the autographed copies of the Communist Manifesto and other child indoctrination material they were handing out as well this year. By the way what was the costume that Obama was wearing?

Check out the 1:50 mark of the video

Remember the 2007 SNL skit for Halloween  (go to the 4:10 mark of video)… Obama’s comments when asked that he dressed as himself, “well Hillary I have nothing to hide, I enjoy being myself …” Really? What a difference a first term makes.

On November 2nd, the treat will be for WE THE PEOPLE.
