South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley goes to FN Manufacturing in Columbia, SC as she celebrates manufacturing in the Palmetto state. Nikki Haley toured FN Manufacturing in the state capital of Columbia. She has made political hay over luring another gun producer, PTR Industries, from the less gun-friendly state of Connecticut in June.

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is known for shooting from the hip. On Friday the Republican politician turned that idiom into a reality during a tour of a gun manufacturing plant, firing ‘quite a few’ guns on an indoor range, including a fully-automatic military machine gun.

Look out Arnold. There’s a new Governor Terminator in town.

‘It was a good time,’ she told reporters after putting holes in several paper targets. ‘It was a good stress reliever – and I did it in heels!’

Former VT Gov. Howard Dean Says He is Open to Another Presidential Run in 2016

Run Forest Howard, Run …. Could we have Dean Scream II?

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, who ran and lost in 2004 to be the Democrat presidential nominee, said that he is open to run for president in 2016. BRING IT!!! Could Howard Dean make life miserable for Hillary Clinton in 2016? Clinton seems to be the already coronated, presumptive Democrat presidential nominee. Of course we heard that same story in 2008. As for Howard Dean, he would run LEFT of Hillary Clinton and certainly appeal the far-LEFT part of the Democrat base and possibly pull Clinton further left that she wants to run. Dean stated, “She [Hillary Clinton] is not going to have a pass. There will be other people who will run.” Of course it is still to be seen if the others who run are viable A-list candidates.

Former Vermont governor Howard Dean, who in 2004 lost his bid to become the Democratic presidential nominee, says he’ll consider another run for president in 2016.

Dean — an outspoken liberal — told CNN’s Peter Hamby that he will run if other candidates aren’t addressing the issues that are important to him.

“I am not driven by my own ambition,” Dean said. “What I am driven by is pushing the country in a direction that it desperately needs to be pushed, pushing other politicians who aren’t quite as frank as I am who need to be more candid with the American people about what needs to happen. I am not trying to hedge. It’s a hard job running. It’s really tough. I am doing a lot of things I really enjoy. But you should never say never in this business.”

Gallup Poll: NJ Gov. Chris Christie Most-Favored Republican Among Democrats

This should be all Republicans  need to know to never, and I mean NEVER nominate New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as GOP presidential candidate.

WHAT A SHOCK. As reported by CNS News, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is the most-favored Republican recent newsmaker among Democratic respondents. Who could have seen that one coming? You mean RINO Chris Christie, Barack Obama’s best friend and the individual who helped Obama win reelection with his over the top embrace of Obama during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy? Why wouldn’t Democrats see Christie as the most favorable Republican seeing that he allowed himself to be the useful pawn and photo-op for Obama? As stated at Michelle Malkin, Hillary Clinton’s greatest threat for the Democrat nomination for president might just be Chris Christie.

Obama – Christie Bromance … They are not a political odd couple, they are the same person … Obama and Christie are all about Obama and Christie

According to a newly released Gallup poll, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is the most-favored Republican recent newsmaker and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is the least-favored–among Democratic respondents. The poll sought to measure the favorable/unfavorable sentiments toward five Republicans Gallup believes may run for president in 2016. Conducted June 1-4. the survey asked: [P]lease say if you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of these people–or if you have never heard of them.” It then listed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

Chris Christie most beloved Republican by Democrats, what is John McCain going to say?

Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee switches Party Affiliation Again, This Time from Independent to Democrat

Changing party affiliation like one changes their underwear … Chafee is a Republican, no Independent, no Democrat … no just a desperate politician.

Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee is changing party affiliation once again and switching from an independent to the Democrat Party. So Chafee has gone from a Republican to Independent to Democrat. He was never a Republican, Chafee like so many individuals in politics are nothing more than political opportunists who would do, say and change parties to maintain power. But from the Rhode Island Governor who has a job approval rating in the 20′s and who ended Christmas trees, this man will do anything to cling on to power. It’s one thing to change, if your party left you, or one has a true change of political philosophy, it’s quite another to do it for political expedience. This is exactly what is wrong with politics today. There are no statesman, just hangers on who think its their right to hold office. Hopefully, the good people of Rhode Island will toss this disaster out on his can.

Independent

Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee will formally switch his party registration Thursday, abandoning his status as an independent and joining the Democratic Party, the governor’s office told POLITICO.

Chafee quietly informed President Barack Obama of his intention to affiliate as a Democrat after reaching that decision in private, Chafee spokeswoman Christine Hunsinger said. The governor’s office confirmed Chafee’s plans after POLITICO reported that the governor had notified national Democrats that he’d be joining the party.

A former Republican who served with Obama in the Senate, Chafee has struggled with perilously low job approval ratings and faces a difficult reelection fight in 2014

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal Says IRS Officials Deserve Prison Time

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal believes that IRS officials responsible for the IRS scandal where the Internal Revenue Service illegally targeted Conservative organizations should go to jail.  Jindal will call the matter “simply un-American” and when you take away Americans civil rights and freedoms away, “When you do that, you go to jail.” This is much the same opinion that came out early this week when GOP Speaker of the House John Boehner stated, “My question is who’s going to jail over this scandal.” What are the odds that anyone is going to go to jail over this scandal? Personally, this needs to be investigated like one would the mob. Start with the small fish and threaten to put them away until they keep trading up to see just how high this goes.

Jail

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will use a Saturday speech to Virginia Republicans to suggest the IRS officials who targeted conservative political organizations for scrutiny be sent to prison.

“You cannot take the freedom of law-abiding Americans, whether you disagree with them or not, and keep your own freedom,” Jindal, a Republican, will tell delegates at the Virginia GOP convention, according to remarks shared with POLITICO. “When you do that, you go to jail.”

Channeling the growing fury on the right over the IRS scandal, Jindal will call the matter “simply un-American.”

But instead of jail time,  Sarah Hall Ingram, who served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012, during the period of time when the IRS targeted Conservative organization was given a bonus and rewarded with heading the IRS department responsible for the implementation of Obamacare.
