Senator Ted Cruz Rips Senate Debt Agreement That Ignores Obamacare … Once Again The Washington Establishment is Refusing to Listen to the American People”
And the real losers of the Senate debt agreement are the American People …
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) speaks the truth in a press conference yesterday following the announcement that Harry Reid (D-NV) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had struck a deal to open the partially closed government and extend the debt limit. Cruz blasted the agreement for its lack of protecting the people, jobs and America against the train-wreck known as Obamacare.
Cruz blasted the Washington, DC status quo and establishment for continuing down the same path that got us to a $17 trillion debt. Maybe it truly is time for a Third Party because the GOP and Democrats do not seem to be the answer for America.
Kentucky Kickback … Senate McConnell-Reid Deal Includes $2 Billion Earmark for Kentucky Dam Project … Make that $3 Billion
UNBELIEVABLE … AND WE THE PEOPLE WONDER WHY WE HAVE A $17 TRILLION DEBT WHEN WE HAVE GOP ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS LIKE THIS …
So as the MSM is telling you who are the “winners” and “losers” of the government shutdown ending, add Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to the list of greedy winners. Why you ask? As reported at WFPL News, the deal between Harry Reid (D-NV) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) included a $2 billion, oops sorry … $3 billion earmark for a Kentucky damn dam project. And you wonder why McConnell pushed this bill in the Senate?
But it’s only $2 billion, oh I misspoke, I meant $3 trillion
A proposal to end the government shutdown and avoid default orchestrated by Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Democratic Leader Harry Reid includes a nearly $3 billion earmark for a Kentucky project.
Language in a draft of the McConnell-Reid deal (see page 13, section 123) provided to WFPL News shows a provision that increases funding for the massive Olmsted Dam Lock in Paducah, Ky., from $775 million to nearly $2.9 billion.
The dam is considered an important project for the state and region in regards to water traffic along the Ohio River.
We wonder why “establishment” republicans hate the Tea Party and those elected to office to reduce spending and the debt? The GOP power elite is just as bad as the Democrats and Barack Obama. They are just as respinsible for a bloated $17 trillion debt and seem to care little about reducing it. I could not agree more with The Gateway Pundit when Jim says, “This looks really bad, Mitch — Really, really bad.”
So we have a federal debt about to go over $17 trillion, the debt limit has just been raised, government spending is continuing to be out of control and unsustainable and we have establishment Republicans like Mitch McConnell getting theirs and making matters worse. Yet some how it is fiscal minded Conservatives like Sens.Ted Cruz (R-TX)Rand Paul, Rand Paul (R-KY) and Mike Lee (R-UT) who are called crazy, dangerous extremists. God help this country. However, as the Lonely Conservative correctly states, the real “losers” in this are the American People!
This is exactly the reason why “establishment” Republicans who have forgotten what it means to be a Republican need to be primary challenged.
Did Mitch McConnell not learn from what happened to Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) and the Corn Husker Kickback?

Former Obama White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs Says Obamacare Rollout “Excruciatingly Embarrassing”
OUCH, THIS ONE IS GOING TO LEAVE A MARK …
Former Obama White House Press Secretary and top aid Robert Gibbs calls Obamacare roll-out “Excruciatingly Embarrassing!!!” Gibbs stated on MSNBC’s Now that “This was bungled badly. This is not a server problem [where] just too many people came to the website. This is a website architecture problem.” Gibbs also went on to say that individuals need to be fired. How bad is it when an individual like Gibbs is coming out and stating the obvious as Barack Obama and current WH press secretary Carney, just call it glitchy?
From The Blaze:
“This is excruciatingly embarrassing for the White House and for the Department of Health and Human Services,” Gibbs said on MSNBC Monday. “This was bungled badly. This is not a server problem [where] just too many people came to the website. This is a website architecture problem.”
Repeating the “excruciatingly embarrassing” charge, Gibbs said it’s “not fatal because there are still many weeks and days to go before the enrollment period closes at the end of March.”
He said buying health care through the exchanges is different from a one-time music purchase on iTunes, but that “if they don’t get these glitches figured out fast, people aren’t going to come back” to compare costs and make their final decisions.
“I hope they’re working day and night to get this done and when they get it fixed I hope they fire some people that were in charge,” Gibbs said. “We knew there were going to be some glitches, right? But these are glitches that go, quite frankly, beyond the pale of what should be expected.”
Pew Poll: 77% of Americans “Angry” And “Frustrated” With the Federal Government
According to a recent PEW Poll, 77% of Americans are “Angry” and “Frustrated” with the federal government . Imagine that. As per poll results, 26% of Americans recently reported that they feel “angry” with the federal government, while another 51% say they are frustrated. With all the scandals, excessive spending, out of control debt, fears and lies of Obamacare and record number of recipients on food stamps with no job recovery in sight, is it any wonder why so many Americans are angry and frustrated. It would appear that only liberal Democrats are not angry with the current federal government … what does that tell you America?
With a possible government shutdown just hours away, public anger at the federal government is as high as at any point since the Pew Research Center began asking the question in 1997. Anger is most palpable among conservative Republicans – 41% say they are angry at the federal government, the highest among any partisan group.
The new national survey by the Pew Research Center, conducted Sept. 25-29 among 1,005 adults, finds that 26% overall say they are angry at the federal government, while 51% feel frustrated. Just 17% say they are basically content with the government.
The share of Americans who say they are angry at the federal government has risen seven points since January and now equals the high reached in August 2011, a few weeks after the widely criticized debt ceiling agreement between the president and Congress.
As in the past, substantial majorities across the political spectrum are either angry or frustrated with the federal government. But anger at the government is far more widespread among conservative Republicans than other partisan groups. This marks a change from 2011, when political independents (30% angry) were about as likely as conservative Republicans (32%) to express anger at the federal government. In the new survey, 41% of conservative Republicans say they feel angry at the government, compared with 27% of independents. Conservative Republicans are roughly twice as likely as liberal Democrats to say they are angry with government (41% vs. 18%).

Oops … $67 Million Missing from Obamacare Slush Fund
Oh the double standard hypocrisy of the IRS …
From the department that say it did not intentionally target conservative non-profit and Tea Party organizations comes the following, $67 million missing from a slush fund established for Obamacare implementation. Imagine what would happen in an IRS audit if you could not account for $67, let alone $67 million? Too bad the IRS does not follow the same rules and standards that they make others do.
So where is the money?
The IRS is unable to account for $67 million spent from a slush fund established for Obamacare implementation, according to a Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) report released today.
The “Health Insurance Reform Implementation Fund” (HIRIF) was tucked into Obamacare in order to give the IRS money to enforce the tax provisions of the healthcare law. The fund, totaling some $1 billion of taxpayer money, was used to roll out enforcement mechanisms for the approximately 50 tax provisions of Obamacare.
According to the report: “Specifically, the IRS did not account for or attempt to quantify approximately $67 million [from the slush fund] of indirect ACA costs incurred for Fiscal Years 2010 through 2012.”
The report also found several other abuses of taxpayer funds, including: (More)
These people are just playing fast and furious with your hard earned money and they follow no rules.
