Pew Poll: 77% of Americans “Angry” And “Frustrated” With the Federal Government

According to a recent PEW Poll, 77% of Americans are “Angry” and “Frustrated” with the federal government . Imagine that.  As per poll results, 26% of Americans recently reported that they feel “angry” with the federal government, while another 51% say they are frustrated. With all the scandals, excessive spending, out of control debt, fears and lies of Obamacare and record number of recipients on food stamps with no job recovery in sight, is it any wonder why so many Americans are angry and frustrated. It would appear that only liberal Democrats are not angry with the current federal government … what does that tell you America?

With a possible government shutdown just hours away, public anger at the federal government is as high as at any point since the Pew Research Center began asking the question in 1997. Anger is most palpable among conservative Republicans – 41% say they are angry at the federal government, the highest among any partisan group.

The new national survey by the Pew Research Center, conducted Sept. 25-29 among 1,005 adults, finds that 26% overall say they are angry at the federal government, while 51% feel frustrated. Just 17% say they are basically content with the government.

The share of Americans who say they are angry at the federal government has risen seven points since January and now equals the high reached in August 2011, a few weeks after the widely criticized debt ceiling agreement between the president and Congress.

As in the past, substantial majorities across the political spectrum are either angry or frustrated with the federal government. But anger at the government is far more widespread among conservative Republicans than other partisan groups. This marks a change from 2011, when political independents (30% angry) were about as likely as conservative Republicans (32%) to express anger at the federal government. In the new survey, 41% of conservative Republicans say they feel angry at the government, compared with 27% of independents. Conservative Republicans are roughly twice as likely as liberal Democrats to say they are angry with government (41% vs. 18%).

It took nearly forty years for our founders to reach the point of the Boston Tea Party and other acts brought on by the manner in which the British Crown treated the American Colonies. When the tipping point was reached, the Declaration of Independence was the result.

It has been one hundred years since the election of Woodrow Wilson that began the socialist/progressive era in the United States.

It has been eighty-one years since the election of FDR that made the next big strides in a socialist agenda.

The “Great Society” effort of LBJ produced the greatest transfer of wealth in world history from those that work to those who live off the work of others. This occurred forty-five years ago.

The culmination of all this effort was reached with the election of Barack Obama in 2008. The socialist/fascist agenda was put in place to complete the job begun by Wilson.

The American people have been duped into thinking that government and more government was the way to go. Socialism works until there is not enough money or the people have an awakening to the freedom lost to government intrusion.

It has taken one hundred years for the people who still have good ethics and values to realize that the socialists have almost stolen the country.

They are mad at themselves and those in government who care nothing about the people for allowing this to happen. A big correction is in the works. It may take a quarter century to accomplish the needed changes, but this is the time of beginning. If I were a progressive-Democrat or Republican-I would be very afraid.

obamacare should not of been implemented in the first place. obama, reid and peloski managed to sneak and push this through against the will of “We The People”. how did they get away with this in the first place?

obama is angry because this time instead of getting his toe stepped on it was his whole foot and he doesn’t want his checkbook taken away.

Wherever in the entire world could we create
a ‘government’ capable of stealing all the money
from Social Security and Medicare and then
imposing a Socialized Medical Insurance scheme
to rob the young and healthy in order to pay for
the older victims who have originally paid their way
in full prior to the theft? Furthermore how many reasonable
young workers would willingly fund a government plan
that covers illegal aliens that are actively undercutting those
      young workers actual jobs?

      Crazy, huh?

As example, may I dare say Obamacare was not a big “sneaky”, “fast one,” “duped” people protectively claim.

Yes, Obama lied, he’s a politician. 1st Clue.

This legislation was a blazing, barreling, train with a gun to the conductor’s head from the moment the words, “Pass it to see what’s in it” were spoken in the same breath as IRS

      As for frustration,
Cyprus, Greece, Poland, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Venezuela, the United Kingdom, and even Sweden…..

Gee, how obscure, crazy huh? …..
