Tea Party Response to Obama’s SOTU from Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) … Calls Obamacare an “Inequality Godzilla.” that Has Robbed Americans of Their Insurance, Doctore, Wages and Jobs

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) provided the Tea Party response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address blamed big Democrat, progressive, liberal government for the problems that Americans face and no greater example of out of control, over-reaching, over-spending and over-stated than the presidents signature piece of legislation, Obamacare. Lee referred to Obamacare as an “Inequality Godzilla, that has robbed working families of their insurance, their doctors, their wages and their jobs.” Kudos to Senator Lee for also placing blame at the hands of establishment Republicans as well for the problems we face as he stated, “they can be just as out-of-touch as the Democratic Establishment.”

“This inequality crisis presents itself in three principal forms,” Lee (R-Utah) said. “Immobility among the poor, who are being trapped in poverty by big-government programs; insecurity in the middle class, where families are struggling just to get ahead, and they can’t seem to get ahead; and cronyist privilege at the top, where political and economic insiders twist the immense power of the federal government to profit at the expense of everyone else.”

“Obamacare – all by itself – is an inequality Godzilla that has robbed working families of their insurance, their doctors, their wages and their jobs,” Lee said. “Many Americans are now seeing why some of us fought so hard to stop this train-wreck over the last four years.”

“I believe we need to do what Americans have always done – come together and press for positive change. Protesting against dysfunctional government is a great American tradition, going back to the original Tea Party in Boston, about 240 years ago,” Lee said. “Americans have a natural instinct to stand up and speak out when they know something is wrong. … Unfortunately, in recent years, we have had no choice but to engage in a number of protests against our current president’s Washington-centered agenda.”

The truth of the matter is that income inequality has risen under Barack Obama.

Last night at Barack Obama SOTU he stated, “the US ‘does not stand still’ and ‘neither will I.” Of course this was code for the Congress, the US Constitution and the separation of powers be damned … he have less than a year to destroy America and remake it into his twisted vision of a socialist Utopia . However, with Obama’s poor approval numbers, not only will Republicans not back any of his agenda, neither will Democrats heading into the 2014 midterm elections. Rather big talk from a president who terrible job approval ratings, Obamacare disapproval at an all time high, and a president who is no longer trusted by “We the People.” The people have lost complete confidence in Barack Obama to do the right thing, so he is going to do it any how and go it alone. What a complete and total ineffectual leader.

President Barack Obama won’t wait for Congress to take action on his agenda, vowing in Tuesday’s State of the Union address to use executive powers to sidestep Republican roadblocks on Capitol Hill.

“America does not stand still — and neither will I,” Obama said. “So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that’s what I’m going to do.”

Despite the congressional logjam, Obama declared, “I believe this can be a breakthrough year for America.”

“What I offer tonight is a set of concrete, practical proposals to speed up growth, strengthen the middle class, and build new ladders of opportunity into the middle class,” he said. “Some require congressional action, and I’m eager to work with all of you.”

How is it that a Congress stands up and cheers when a president says directly in front of them that he is going to bypass them and do their jobs? Why are we paying anyone of those who stood and abdicated their legislative job to the executive branch?

Instead of apologizing to the American people for causing millions of Americans to lose their insurance thanks to the unpopular Obamacare law as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has suggested, Obama instead doubled down and said he would go it alone if the House and Senate did not agree with his unpopular agenda.

Just curious, how would the MSM be reacting today if a Republican president said he was going to bypass Congress?

Rocker and pro-Second Amendment, gun rights advocate Ted Nugent is attending Barack Obama’s State of the Union address tonight as a guest of Congressman Steve Stockman TX-R) . How did he make it through the Secret Service background check? Nugent is famous for speaking his mind when it comes to Obama and his policies. During the 2012 president campaign, Nugent declared, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” A note to Nugent, Obama was reelected and the year’s still not up yet. One can only hope that he is miked for the event and a live streaming video is available as well. Stockman stated, “I am excited to have a patriot like Ted Nugent joining me in the House Chamber to hear from President Obama. After the Address I’m sure Ted will have plenty to say.” YA THINK!!!

As the Gateway Pundit reminds us, Nugent is never at a loss for words when it comes to Obama, he once in concert called Obama as “Piece of Sh*t”.

Outspoken musician and gun right supporter Ted Nugent will be Rep. Steve Stockman’s guest Tuesday night at President Obama’s State of the Union address.

Nugent is well known for his defense of the Second Amendment and for his criticism of Obama’s politics. Obama is expected to make gun control a central part of this address.

While appearing at a campaign stop for then-GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney last year, Nugent declared, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

The Secret Service later interviewed Nugent about his comments.

Steve Stockman announced that his office will run a live Twitter fact-check of the President’s State of the Union address tomorrow. Otherwise known as a “You Lie O’meter”. Following this on Twitter will be better than the SOTU speech, especially as Twitchy states that the #YouLie will probably be the order of the day.

Barack Obama’s State of the Union Speech Registers an 8th Grade Reading Level on the Flesch-Kincaid Test … 3rd Lowest SOTU Score Since 1934

Barack Obama, are you smarter than a 8th grader …

Barack Obama has been touted as the smartest President ever. So then why was his 2012 State of the Union speech register an 8th grade reading level on the  Flesch-Kincaid readability test? Obama’s 2012 SOTU was the third lowest score since 1934. Obama’s SOTU average grade score of his three speeches is at an amazing 8.4, as compared to the 10.7 average if the previous 67 State of the Union addresses by twelve Presidents.  Coincidence, I think not.

The University of Minnesota’s Smart Politics conducted an analysis on the last 70 State of the Union addresses and found that President Obama’s three addresses have the lowest grade average of any modern president. “Obama’s average grade-level score of 8.4 is more than two grades lower than the 10.7 grade average for the other 67 addresses written by his 12 predecessors,” they conclude.

“The Flesch-Kincaid test is designed to assess the readability level of written text, with a formula that translates the score to a U.S. grade level. Longer sentences and sentences utilizing words with more syllables produce higher scores. Shorter sentences and sentences incorporating more monosyllabic words yield lower scores,” the University of Minnesota’s Eric Ostermeier explains.

Obama’s use of simple language  is in part a reflection of his audience: the American voter in an election year.

Is this the continued dumbing down of America? Kinda. However, it is telling to who Barack Obama is targeting his speech to. It has to be intentional to make a speech that much more simple than previous Presidents. 2.3 grade levels!!!

Is it any wonder why then that a President that would lower the reading level of a SOTU by so much would also play class warfare? Does anyone think that the targeted Obama speech listener actually takes the time to read and fact check what Obama says, or are they just blindly believing what The One says. I think we know the answer.

Just a note to Conservatives, the Tea Party and Republicans, don’t let any Liberal or Dem tell you that you are stupid. Not when Obama is having speeches targeted to an 8th grade reading level. Those who support Barack Obama should be insulted that the Obamamessiah feels the need to talk down to them. However, instead they will follow him blindly even though though “Hope & Change”  was a monumental hoax.

Barack Obama Plagerizes Ford Motors Ad During SOTU Speech … “Built to Last”

Wow, Obama’s SOTU was not only flat and predictable lame, there appears to have been other issues with it was well.

Are you serious, did President Barack Obama rip off a Ford Motors ad during the State of the Union last night … America, Built to Last. The Daily Mail seems to think so. What is even more ironic is that Obama and his speech writers managed to plagiarize the one car company that did not take any government bail out money. It would appear that Biden is not the only gaffe prone individual in the White House.

“An economy built to last, where hard work pays off, and responsibility is rewarded.”

“Tonight, I want to speak about how we move forward, and lay out a blueprint for an economy that’s built to last – an economy built on American manufacturing, American energy, skills for American workers, and a renewal of American values.”

“You see, an economy built to last is one where we encourage the talent and ingenuity of every person in this country.”

“An America built to last insists on responsibility from everybody.”

“That’s an America built to last.”

The America we had lasted more than 200 years. It was built, in part, on the sweat and vision of Ford Motors Company.

And not on its slogans.

I pray that nothing lasts from this terrible presidency.
