Obama’s 2012 SOTU Address … Same As It Ever Was … Tired Old Empty Promises & the Promise of Jobs with Awkward Cheering

Obama’s SOTU … Same as it ever was.

For those pundits who want to spin and claim that President Barack Obama’s SOTU address last night was an inspiring great speech, think again. Obama’s address sounded like many that he delivered in the past, just with a bit more class warfare. So much for the great visionary Obama … sorry, but this speech was flat and disjointed where Democrats in many places had no idea when they were supposed to stand and cheer. Often during his speech you heard a single clap or none at all when on the teleprompter it obviously told The One to pause for ovation.

The general opinion of the SOTU, Too Long, Too Partisan, Too Barren of Policy. It was amazing that Obama never mentioned America’s out of control debt and the fact that he prevented jobs from being created by nixing the XL oil pipeline, yet defended the Solyndra’s that the government wastefully handed tax payer $’s to.

Seriously, how could any President talk about the State of the Union and not reference the United States’ out of control national debt, record number of people on good stamps and high unemployment? Oh, BTW … why did not Obama praise the crown jewel of his presidency … Obamacare?

Charles Krauthammer Not Impressed With Obama’s SOTU: “Obama Is Capable of Giving Great Speeches… This Was Not One” … But MSM Says it was ‘Reaganesque’

Obama’s SOTU … flat and uninspired.

Charles Krauthammer was not impressed in the slightest with President Barack Obama’s SOTU speech.  Krauthammer stated that this is a president who is capable of giving great speeches and has … this was not one of them. He also went on to say that this was one of the weakest Obama speeches. I hate to break it to the liberal MSM, but the speech was hardly Reaganesque. The MSM will stop at nothing to shill for this president.

Video Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit

According to Nielson, 43 million watched Obama’s speech, which according to Hot Air is down from 52 million who watched Obama’s first SOTU and 48 million last year.

On Tuesday, January 25, 2011 President Obama delivered his State of the Union address. The address was carried live from approximately 9:00 PM- 10:15 PM on 11 networks. The sum of the average audience for those networks was 42,789,947 viewers, with a combined household rating of 26.6. The networks carrying the address included ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, TEL, UNI, CNN, Centric, CNBC, FOXNC, and MSNBC. Viewership to last night’s address was down 18% from his address on February 24, 2009 and down 11% from his State of the Union address last year on January 27, 2010.

From Newsbusterscomes the MSM falling over themselves trying to compare Barack Obama to Ronald Reagan. Pretty amazing seeing that when Reagan was in office the Libs had nothing good to say about him. I think thou dost compare too much. Could the MSM be any more obvious and desperate?

On CBS, Evening News anchor Katie Couric touted how political analyst Jeff Greenfield thought it was “down right Reaganesque”
and that “some” have argued “this could be his Reagan moment.”

These people are absolutely pathetic … Thankfully no one of any sound mind finds the MSM credible anymore.

Nancy Pelosi Says No to Date Night SOTU with Eric Cantor, She Already has One

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) slipped Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a note in study hall asking if she would be his date to the State of the Union address. However, the former House Speaker said no and stated she’s already had a date. It was true heartache for Eric Cantor being rejected by little Nancy.

The invitation from Cantor was made Monday evening through staffers for the two leaders, spokesman Brad Dayspring said.

The pairing would have been among the more high-profile for an event that has in recent days been compared to a school dance, as lawmakers scurry to find cross-party seatmates for the president’s annual address. Instead of the traditional party-line seating arrangement, dozens of members have planned to sit with lawmakers from the other party as a symbol of renewed civility.

BTW, no Weasel Zippers you are not the only one that finds the “date night” SOTU a total irritating bunch of BS. It is not important are mean anything who you symbolically sit next to an a faux image of unity … IT MATTERS WHAT ONE STANDS FOR NOT WH YOU SIT NEXT TO!!!
