What the hell happened to the country I grew up in and what happened to presidents taking oaths to uphold the U.S. Constitution? Barack Obama, bypassing the people, and the states, and the courts, has once again exercising executive authority to enforce his leftist ideologue will and vision on “We the People” and America. The New York Times is reporting that Obama will issue a “decree” ordering all public schools in the country to allow “transgender students” to use the bathroom and locker room of their choice. Hmm, so much for State’s rights. Now Obama is looking to rewrite laws himself and threaten states by withholding federal funding if they do not comply.

A note to parents, the Obama administration will order every public school in America on Friday to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of the opposite sex. In essence this is creating coed bathrooms and locker rooms. UNREAL.

The Obama administration is planning to issue a sweeping directive telling every public school district in the country to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity.

A letter to school districts will go out Friday, adding to a highly charged debate over transgender rights in the middle of the administration’s legal fight with North Carolina over the issue. The declaration — signed by Justice and Education department officials — will describe what schools should do to ensure that none of their students are discriminated against.

It does not have the force of law, but it contains an implicit threat: Schools that do not abide by the Obama administration’s interpretation of the law could face lawsuits or a loss of federal aid.

The move is certain to draw fresh criticism, particularly from Republicans, that the federal government is wading into local matters and imposing its own values on communities across the country that may not agree. It represents the latest example of the Obama administration using a combination of policies, lawsuits and public statements to change the civil rights landscape for gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people.

As stated at Red State, “So they cannot be required to use the bathroom of their genetic, physical gender, and moreover, cannot be required to use private or individual bathrooms which would avoid everyone’s discomfort. The decree is that if you’re a 12 year old girl, there may be a penis next to you in the bathroom. But don’t you dare complain.”

Liberal Democrat New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio encouraged his constituents not to eat at a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in the city. Are you kidding me, this is what is meant by violating one’s civil rights. This is what tyranny looks like folks. A person in government telling others not to eat at a private business because of their p[of their person beliefs. Where is the ACLU to defend Chick-fil-A. Hey de Blasio, that’s it, call for a boycott of Chick-fil-A … because this one went so well you Leftist idiot.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday encouraged his constituents not to eat at a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in the city, citing the company’s pro-traditional marriage views.

“What the ownership of Chick-fil-A has said is wrong,” Mr. de Blasio said at a press conference, as reported by DNA Info.

“I’m certainly not going to patronize them, and I wouldn’t urge any other New Yorker to patronize them,” he said, adding that “they do have a legal right.”

Mr. de Blasio’s comments came after city Councilman Danny Dromm started a boycott for a new Chick-fil-A location opening in Queens.

“Chick-fil-A is anti-LGBT,” Mr. Dromm said in a statement.

“This group imparts a strong anti-LGBT message by forcing their employees and volunteers to adhere to a policy that prohibits same-sex love,” he said. “It is outrageous that Chick-fil-A is quietly spreading its message of hate by funding these types of organizations.”

Chick-fil-A said in a statement it was excited to serve “existing and new customers great food with remarkable service” at the new location.

ESPN has finally done something that they have wanted to do for quite some time, they have fired ESPN analyst Curt Schilling. At the center of this controversy was a post that showed an overweight man wearing a wig and women’s clothing with parts of the T-shirt cut out to expose his breasts. It says: “LET HIM IN! to the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow-minded, judgmental, unloving racist bigot who needs to die.” ESPN has sadly become nothing more than liberal sports TV. If someone voices and opinion or makes a statement against a conservative, that is fine. However, dare go against their liberal values and you face the PC police and get fired. I think Powerline might be on to something, Trump may want to think about adding Schilling to the ticket. A note to all the other networks, you have an opening for sports network programming, take it. Many of us who have been with ESPN from their inception are sick and tired of their politics.

Curt Schilling, a former All-Star pitcher and one of the highest-profile baseball analysts on ESPN, was fired from the network Wednesday, a day after he drew intense criticism for promoting offensive commentary on social media.

Schilling, who had worked for the network since 2010 and most recently offered analysis on “Monday Night Baseball,” was dismissed after sharing a Facebook post this week that appeared to respond to the North Carolina law that bars transgender people from using bathrooms and locker rooms that do not correspond with their birth genders.

They previous year ESPN gave the same award to Michael Sam. Hmm, I am sensing a trend here.
