Joe Biden … More Inspired Words from Obama’s VP … “Hillary Clinton Might have Been a Better Pick Than Me”
FINALLY, a Biden sighting … Maybe he should have stayed in hiding.
As soon as Barack Obama chose Delaware Senator Joseph Biden, a long time Washington DC Insider many were left scratching their heads wondering how Biden was a better VP candidate than Hillary Clinton. Many also wondered how this represented change.
Who knew that Joe Biden felt the same way that Hillary was a better pick? What happened to the Obama/Biden ticket? This is nothing short of pathetic. There is praise and then there is this … Did Joe Biden just question Barack Obama’s judgment in choosing Biden for VP?
At a town hall in Nashua, N.H., this afternoon, Senator Joe Biden seemed to veer off into the latter when talking about Hillary Clinton, whom many of her supporters wanted Barack Obama to pick as his running mate instead of Biden.
“Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America,” Biden said. “Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend; she is qualified to be president of the United States of America. She’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America and quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me, but she is first-rate.”
The Biden VP pick has been nothing short of an uninspired bust. The Biden choice opened the door for McCain and the Palin phenomenon. However, it was an insight into Obama’s first decision as a potential President. Thus one might say that Obama’s first decision was a colossal disaster. Joe Biden stated in the Democratic primaries that Obama was not ready to be President and it turns out that Biden was right.
As Hot Air surmises, is it possible that Obama will play a Mulligan, dump Biden and put Hillary Clinton on the ticket? Will Obama throw Biden under the bus and trade him in for Hillary?
Biden preps for debate with Sarah Palin. Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm may be stand-in. For who Biden?

Is Obama Throwing Press Under the Bus … Obama Just Won’t Let Lip sticking a Pig Comment Go … Palin is Lipstick, McCain policies are Pig
Now for the latest spin from Barack Obama regarding lip sticking a pig. How is it that a day later he has an entire analysis on the sentence that he claimed yesterday had nothing to do with Palin?
Now Obama claims the “lip stick” comment is a Made Up Controversy … Ahh Barack, You are the One who Created It
It get’s even better, Obama throws the media under the bus.
“Keep in mind, that technically had I meant it this way she would be the lipstick,” Obama said. “The policies of John McCain would be the pig.”
Barack Obama put his foot in his mouth when he uttered the comment yesterday, “You can put lipstick on a pig, … “It’s still a pig.” A day later and Obama is still making her deliberate screw up news and defending his comments. Is this man ignorant? Let it go, take your lumps and move on. However, the Obamamessiah feels the need to further explain his ignorant and thoughtless comments on the Letterman Show according to the Politico.
LETTERMAN: Let me ask you a question here, have you ever actually put lipstick on pig?
OBAMA: The answer would be no. But I think it might be fun to try …. This is sorta silly season in politics. Not that there’s a non silly season but it gets sillier . It’s a common expression in at least illinois. I don’t know about in New York City. I don’t know what you put lipstick on here. (Silly cringe from Letterman. Laughter from audience) In Illinois, The expression connotes the idea that if you have a bad idea — in this case I was talking about McCain’s economic plans — calling them ‘change,’ calling them something different doesn’t make them better. Hence lipstick on a pig is still a pig.
Obama claims that this is a made up controversy by the media. That is correct, The Chosen One” is biting the very hand that has fed him to a Democratic Presidential nomination. As Stop the ACLU states, the MSM holding Obama accountable, this is uncharted territory.

More from Obama’s Lipstick on a Pig Reference to Sarah Palin … Obama, Ready to Smear
Over at Instapundit, there is much talk and discussion regarding Obama’s “you can put lipstick on a pig” comment. If one does not think that the comment was not directly aimed at Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin, then I guess we are all to believe that Obama is both ignorant and a terrible speaker. What else could one surmise if Obama did not intentionally go after Palin less than 2 weeks after Palin made the hockey mom reference to a pit bull wearing lipstick? All of Obama’s problems caused by the fact he did not have the guts to put a woman on the ticket and his campaign was out maneuvered by McCain’s.
BTW, since when is it the role of a Presidential nominee to attack the VP of the other side? Think the pressure is not setting in with the Obama camp as their tanking poll numbers tank? All of the news is about Palin & McCain, none about Obama and Biden is AWOL.
And Scott Llewellyn writes: “Um, you’re kidding right? a slip? a gaffe? Obama just innocently and/or randomly used images that invoked Palin (lipstick) and Mccain (age)? Someone lauded for his rhetorical skills didn’t see where that was going? Someone lauded for his intelligence couldn’t foresee that, even if innocent, his images would be interpreted as references to Palin and Mccain? This is not even a close call (my wife gasped when i told her what obama said about pig/lipstick, without knowing any context or having me prime her with a reference to Palin), and Obama can’t have it both ways (I’m a brilliant speaker, but not responsible for the obvious implications of the images I use).”
WATCH THE NEW MCCAIN/PALIN AD
Team McCain is running circles around the Obama campaign
Do you know they say the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick (Sarah Palin)
“You can put lipstick on a pig, … “It’s still a pig.” (Barack Obama)
The Gateway Pundit: LIPSTICK LIBERALS… Obama Camp Gangs Up On Alaska Mom
For the Obama apologists who think that the “lipstick” comment was not meant to refer to Sarah Palin, think again. It was a concerted, calculated and orchestrated effort on the part of Obama and his Democratic surrogates. Why is Obama sinking in the polls, because of this … The Obama Campaign’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
This was a very ugly day for the Obama Campaign…
First… At a Joe Biden event today in Missouri, Congressman Russ Carnahan attacked Governor Sarah Palin. Referring to her record, Carnahan said,“There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick.”
Classy. Then later in the day Barack Obama stuck with the cosmetics theme, saying:“You can put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.”
Barack Obama will regret the day he ever decided to be cute and make the “lipsticing a pig” comments as indicated in Patterico’s Pontifications: Obama’s “Macaca Moment” (Updated)

Gaffe-o-Meter: Ooops … Barack Obama, “My Muslim Faith”
“My Muslim Faith …”
Ooops. Imagine if a Republican made such a blunder? What’s his excuse this time, he was tired and exhausted after staying up all night reading all the positive poll numbers for John McCain? Exactly how many gaffes is the “Chosen One” allowed to make before he is considered a verbal liability? I thought Obama was supposed to be a verbal linguistic mistro who could weave a tapestry of words with the best of ‘em … NOT!!!
Once again Obama has no teleprompter and makes another colossal screw up. Barack Obama has done it to himself this time when it comes to people questioning his religious beliefs. It was not the RIGHT that is claiming that Obama is a Muslim … it was Barack Obama himself during a Sunday talk show interview with George Stephanopoulos making the comment, “My Muslin Faith”. Wasn’t it nice of the liberal MSM to once again come to Obama’s aid and correct his gaffe? What would Obama do without the MSM carrying his water and covering up his gaffes?
Barack Obama says … “My Muslim Faith”
Asked about whether McCain himself has done anything to suggest he’s Muslim, Obama said, “Let’s not play games. What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come…”
“Christian faith,” Stephanopoulos interrupted, correcting Obama.
“… my Christian faith. Well, what I’m saying is that he hasn’t suggested that I’m a Muslim.

Barack Obama Proclaims he has More Experience than Republican VP Candidate Sarah Palin
Did Obama have a senior moment? Has he forgotten who is is running against? It also seems that he has more memory loss in the fact that Palin is a Governor, not a Mayor. How incredibly sexist that Obama would try to dismiss Palin as the little woman.
Can Obama get any more juvenile? What’s next … Obama going to say his daddy can beat her daddy up? As Town Hall adds Obama new slpogan is … “My Campaign Is Bigger Than Her Small Town.” Could Obama and his campaign get any more childish?
Today Obama defended his nearly non-existent executive experience by stating that he was more experienced that Republican VP candidate and Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin. That might actually mean something if Obama were actually running against Palin. Maybe someone in the Obama camp may want to tell Barack that he is running for President against John McCain, not Palin. I really must say the Obama campaign talking points have really been lame lately.
Barack Obama defended his experience in dealing with natural disasters, such as Hurricane Katrina, and took a swipe at newly minted GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
