President Barack Obama’s Sinking Poll Numbers … Low Job Approval & 50% Say He Does not Deserve to be Re-elected in 2012
President Barack Obama’s poll numbers are tanking …
As Obama’s dithering continues so does the downward spiral of his poll numbers. Obama’s indecision and lack of a clear message in the “kinetic military operation” WAR in Libya, Obamacare debacle and additional waiver requests, continues poor economy and elevated oil prices have all added to Obama’s poor job approval numbers. According to the most recent Quinnipiac University National Poll, The One’s job approval rating is at 48% disapprove and only 42% approve.
Making matter worse for Obama, 50% do not believe that Barack Obama deserves a second term as President while only 41% believe he does. Hardly a good sign for an incumbent President seeking reelection in 2012. The lack of leadership and incoherent waffling message to the American people on any topic these days is wearing thin.
American voters disapprove 48 – 42 percent of the job President Barack Obama is doing and say 50 – 41 percent he does not deserve to be re-elected in 2012,both all-time lows, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
This compares to a 46 – 46 percent job approval rating and a 45 – 47 percent split on the President’s re-election in a March 3 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University. In a hypothetical 2012 matchup, President Obama gets 36 percent of the vote to 37 percent for an unnamed Republican challenger.Democrats approve 80 – 13 percent of the job Obama is doing, but disapproval is 81 – 9 percent among Republicans and 50 – 39 percent among independent voters. Men disapprove 52 – 41 percent while women split 44 – 44 percent.
Why are these polling numbers so alarming? These are the lowest job approval numbers for Obama in the Quinnipiac poll, even lower than any in 2010. Obama even loses to an unnamed GOP candidate in this poll 37% to 36%. How can that be good news for any incumbent politician?
Barack Obama also failed miserably in this poll in handling the federal budget 64% disapprove – 30% approve, the economy 60% disapprove – 30% approve, foreign policy disapprove 47% – approve 41%, healthcare disapprove 55% – 38% approve.
More at Wake Up America with the trending downward polling data of Barack Obama. 2012 is right around the corner.

The Comedian in Chief Obama Yuks it Up at the Gridiron Club Dinner as the World Burns
This is hardly a laughing matter … Nice priorities
Barack Obama, the Comedian in Chief does what he does best, provides us with yet another “Lost in Smallness” moment as he yuks it up and jokes around as the world is literally burning. Is an 8.9 magnitude Japanese earthquake, a subsequent tsunami where 10,000 are presumed dead, Japan’s worst crisis since WWII, 10.1% unemployment & 19.8% underemployment, increasing cost of oil & $4.00 gasoline, chaos in the Middle East, continued foreclosures in the US, states on the verge of bankruptcy, an out of control federal deficit, continued terror threats and Americans still trying to find jobs a laughing matter?
President Obama used his first appearance at the annual Gridiron Club Dinner as POTUS to push home an already labored point — with a little help from The Boss.
Taking the stage to give the evening’s closing remarks, the president looked toward the live band at the back of the room and asked, “Can we go with the song we talked about?”
The band struck up Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.,” drawing big laughs from the some 650 government officials, political figures, news executives and journalists in gathered at the Washington Renaissance hotel for the club’s 126th anniversary. (read the full story at the Politico)
We stated how inappropriate this was yesterday, guess what, it is still inappropriate today. Because it is such a laugh riot that at the Gridiron Club they would play Bruce Springsteen’s ”Born in the USA”as a reference to Obama’s lack of producing a long form birth certificate as the World burns. Hell, this President could not even produce a budget that was worth the paper it was written on, maybe they should have played Pink Floyd’s ‘Money’ instead.

Even Bill Clinton Thinks There are “Ridiculous Delays” in Obama’s Admin Issuing Offshore Drilling Permits
Even Bill Clinton thinks Obama is delaying deep water drilling and hurting the economy.
How bad is the Obama administration in messing with the economy and delaying the issuing of offshore drilling permits? Even former Democrat President William Clinton is slamming Obama for their “ridiculous delays”. At a IHS CERAWeek conference, Bill Clinton agreed with former Republican President George W. Bush on many oil and gas issues, including the the fact that there were “ridiculous delays in permitting when our economy doesn’t need it.”
It isn’t the first time that Clinton called Obama ridiculous
Former President Bill Clinton said Friday that delays in offshore oil and gas drilling permits are “ridiculous” at a time when the economy is still rebuilding, according to attendees at the IHS CERAWeek conference.
Clinton spoke on a panel with former President George W. Bush that was closed to the media. Video of their moderated talk with IHS CERA Chairman Daniel Yergin was also prohibited.

55% of US Voters Oppose to Obama’s 7 Year Ban on Offshore Oil & Gas Drilling
Energy Independence … the big issue for 2012 Presidential election.
As gas prices rise toward $4 per gallon and higher, President Barack Obama once again finds himself on the wrong side of an issue with the American people. In a recent Rasmussen poll, 55% of likely US voters are opposed to Obama’s seven year ban on oil and gas drilling the off Eastern seaboard and in the eastern portion of the Gulf of Mexico.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters now oppose the president’s seven-year ban on offshore oil and gas drilling in part of the Gulf and along the East coast. That’s a seven-point increase from 48% three months ago. Thirty percent (30%) favor the offshore ban, down five points from the previous survey. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided about it. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Energy independence is a national security issue, let alone one of oil/gas drilling and the economy with jobs.
However, as Americans continue to feel the pain at the gas pump, the Obama administration is only interested in appealing court decisions and delay deep water drilling applications to go through, provide more domestic oil drilling and more jobs. Also in a recent survey, 58% of Americans believe that gas prices will reach $5 per gallon by the beginning of summer. Which can also explain why 67% of American voters now support offshore oil drilling, up from 60% in the December survey.
Barack Obama and Democrats have some real issues when it comes to domestic drillingand energy policies with main stream American people and voters not affiliated with either party. Welcome to yet another issue for the 2012 election … energy independence. The United States of America can no longer be dependent on the Middle East.
- Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Republicans and 62% of voters not affiliated with either political party disagree with the president’s seven-year offshore oil drilling ban, while a plurality (46%) of Democrats support the policy.
- Republicans and unaffiliateds also feel more strongly than Democrats that the United States does not do enough to develop its own oil and gas resources.
- Seventy-four percent (74%) of Mainstream voters believe offshore drilling should be allowed, while 53% of the Political Class oppose it.

Gas Prices Head Toward $4.00 Per Gallon & Obama Admin Appeals Oil Drilling Ruling
WHAT ABOUT THE JOBS THE PRESIDENT PROMISED?
The Obama Administration is hellbent on making gas prices exceed $4 per gallon and to prevent jobs from being created and making the US dependent on foreign oil.
As chaos is breaking loose in the Middle East and Africa and the uncertainty is causing the price of oil is skyrocket and in turn gas to climb near the $4 per gallon, the Obama administration does nothing but make matters worse in appealing the oil drilling ruling. Never has there been a time in the US that there needs to be an intelligent, common sense Energy policy; however, Obama and his minions are dead set in making America continually dependent on foreign oil and having oil prices continue to rise. Why does the Obama administration continue to prevent deep water drilling permits applications to go through?
The Obama administration late Friday appealed a judge’s orders directing the Interior Department to act on several Gulf of Mexico deepwater drilling permits.
The appeal is the latest salvo in the ongoing fight over the speed with which Interior is – or isn’t – letting oil drillers get back to work after last year’s BP oil spill.
Gulf state lawmakers and the oil industry have accused the department of enacting a “de facto” moratorium against new drilling, while Interior says it needs to ensure safety and environmental protections are in place.
