Brevard Community College College Recommends Firing for Professor Who Forced Students To Sign a Pledge to Vote For Obama and Democrats
The Brevard Community College professor, Sharon Sweet, who forced students to sign a pledge that they would vote for Obama may actually lose her job. Could there actually be some sanity in liberal academia? Sharon Sweet allegedly told students to sign a pledge that stated, “I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket.” The colleges’ president is asking that the tenured professor be fired. What, you mean it is not the job of a professor to force students in their class and sign a pledge card with the underlying perception that if you do not, you’re grades may suffer? Welcome to liberal academia extortion. After an investigation, a review board determined that Sweet both attempted to influence her students’ vote and misrepresented her intentions.
Vote for Obama or else …
From The Daily Caller:
A tenured professor who forced her students to sign pledges that they would vote for President Barack Obama last November should be fired, the college’s president recommended.
Sharon Sweet, an associate professor of mathematics at Brevard Community College in Florida, is guilty of electioneering, harassment, and incompetence, according to a three-month investigation into her classroom behavior leading up to the November election.
The Board of Trustees will hold a hearing on the matter, and then vote on whether to adopt President James Richey’s recommendation that Sweet be fired.
Tenured or not, this woman should be gone. No teacher should be allowed to use their position in a school to further their political agenda. The LEFT is against schools doing the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States, yet they are ok with a pledge to Obama?

Hollywood Liberal Nut Danny Glover Says Second Amendment was Created to Prevent Slave Revolts and Indian Uprisings … So Much for Tyranny
When it comes down to it, when it comes to the Liberal Far Left … It’s always about race.
So much for colleges being institutions of higher education. These days they have simply become a vehicle for the far Left liberal brainwashing agenda. This week, far left actor Danny Glover told Texas A&M students that the Second Amendment was created to prevent slave revolts and Indian uprisings. Really? So much for it being from the fact that the United States of America just fought a war against an Imperial, totalitarian king. So much for the fact that Our Founding Fathers set up a “Bill of Rights” to protect its citizens from the very government that was put in place. The Second Amendment was created to prevent a US government from taking away our liberties and protect us from government tyranny. I guess one can say that Glover’s reasoning for the First Amendment must be to give him the right to sound like a race-baiting fool.
The Constitution’s Second Amendment was created to bolster slavery and capture land from Native Americans, award winning actor Danny Glover told a group of students at a Texas A&M sponsored event on Thursday.
“I don’t know if you know the genesis of the right to bear arms,” he said. “The Second Amendment comes from the right to protect themselves from slave revolts, and from uprisings by Native Americans.”
“A revolt from people who were stolen from their land or revolt from people whose land was stolen from, that’s what the genesis of the second amendment is,” he continued.
Glover, best known for roles in the “Lethal Weapon” franchise and “Angels in the Outfield,” was addressing students at an event being held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Director of Texas A&M’s Memorial Student Center, Luke Altendorf, told Campus Reform on Friday that the university was unaware of Glover’ talking points prior to his speech. Each and every amendment in the
America, you might want to take a real good look at this and think for once, rather than being fed a lie from your government and the corrupt media complex. The Bill of Rights is important in it’s entirety as it protect “We the People” from the government put in place to govern the United States. However, the Second Amendment is the most important because it guarantees that the others will not be taken away. Without having the ability to protect one self from a tyrannical government, what freedoms do you really have?

Pennsylvania’s Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) Cutting 400 Instructors, Support Staff & and PT Instructors to Avoid Paying for Obamacare
Thanks Barack Obama … America, you get what you vote for.
Obamacare responsible for 400 of the Community College of Allegheny County instructors, support staff and part time instructors having their hours reduced. Obama just things that money grows on trees and has no concept how any business actually works. More revenues must be brought in than expenses paid out. Then again, Obama has not had a budget in 4 years and has increased the federal deficit by nearly $6 trillion in his first term. To any thinking person, it was obvious that colleges, restaurants and businsesses were going to have to cut and make adjustments to pay for being forced to insure individuals.
“It’s kind of a double whammy for us because we are facing a legal requirement [under the new law] to get health care and if the college is reducing our hours, we don’t have the money to pay for it,” said adjunct biology professor Adam Davis. On Tuesday, CCAC employees were notified that Obamacare defines full-time employees as those working 30 hours or more per week and that on Dec. 31 temporary part-time employees will be cut back to 25 hours. The move will save an estimated $6 million. “While it is of course the college’s preference to provide coverage to these positions, there simply are not funds available to do so,” said CCAC spokesperson David Hoovler. “Several years of cuts or largely flat funding from our government supporters have led to significant cost reductions by CCAC, leaving little room to trim the college’s budget further.” The solution, says United Steelworkers representative Jeff Cech, is that adjunct professors should unionize in an attempt to thwart schools seeking similar cost-savings efforts from avoiding Obamacare.
