So Bill Clinton is to Praise Obama at the 2012 DNC Convention … Wasn’t it Just a “A Few Years Ago Clinton Said, This Guy Would Have Been Carrying Our Bags” … Clinton Praises Romney
Barack Obama … Don’t ask for things it might come true …
There is an old saying when it comes to TV shows that have hung on too long, be careful when they add a baby or a pet to the series. In Democrat politics its, be very careful when you need Bill Clinton in order to sell your presidency.
How desperate and really far behind is President Barack Obama in the 2012 Presidential campaign against GOP challenger Mitt Romney? So much that he had to ask political foe, former President Bill Clinton to come to his aid. Sorry, but these two do not like each other. Bill Clinton has a short memory as to how Team Obama savaged Hillary during the 2008 Democrat primary. It was Bill Clinton who accused Team Obama of playing the race card against him.
It was not too long ago that Clinton stated that “a few years ago, This Guy [Obama] would have been carrying our bags” So why is Bill Clinton not being branded a racist for such a comment? Even though we know Clinton is not, hoe has that stopped Obama from using the race card in the past? Instead, Obama is in such desperate straights that he needs Clinton to win back Democrats scratching their heads as to why they voted for Obama and Independents. However, the two Presidents could not be farther apart in leadership or politics.
Former President Bill Clinton tried to get former senator Ted Kennedy to endorse Hillary Clinton for president in the 2008 election by describing Barack Obama this way: “A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags.”
This anecdote is revealed in a New Yorker article on the relationship between Bill Clinton and Obama:
Much to the Surprise of the liberal MSM, Bill Clinton praised Mitt Romney and said “Bain Is Good Work…”
Clinton praising Romney’s Sterling Business career
Bill Clinton accuses Obama and his minions of playing the race card against him
Bill Clinton will be giving the Keynote speech this week at the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, DC. Really, does Obama want a Democrat that is more popular, more of a leader and more of a success as President speaking at this event? Most Democrats are just going to long for the days of Clinton and ask why they can’t have a third Clinton term as opposed to another failed four years of Obama.
Make no mistake about it, I am no fan of Bill Clinton. However, Clinton knew enough after getting his butt handed to him in the 1994 midterm election, better know as the Republican Revolution, Clinton then moved to the center to govern and with bipartisan support with the GOP. Barack Obama did just the opposite. After receiving a shellacking in 2010 at the hands of the GOP, Obama doubled down and moved even farther to the LEFT. No one is going to buy Clinton praising Obama’s policies and the economy is moving forward.

Unconventional Times … More Democrats Plan to Skip the Democrat National Covention, Add New York Democratic Reps. Bill Owens & Kathy Hochul to the List
UNCONVENTIONAL TIMES … THE RATS ARE ABANDONING THE SS OBAMA.
Talk about no coattails … add two more Democrats to the list of those politicians who will not be attending the Democrat National Convention in North Carolina later this summer, otherwise known as the Obama love-fest. New York Democrat US Reps Bill Owens and Kathy Hochul will be skipping to convention so to not appear like they are left-wing Obama partisan politicians. Really? One would think that their constituents only need to look at their voting record since they have been “Inside the Beltway”. However, this is proving to be a troubling trend. If Democrat politicians in right leaning districts or those that are in need of Independents to get elected, one has to wonder just how well Barack Obama will do in 2012.
Um, don’t forget to RSVP to the DNCC
Vulnerable Democrats looking to distance themselves from President Obama have found an easy way to bolster their independent bona fides: just skip Obama’s big party.
At least half a dozen Democratic officials have said in recent days that they won’t attend the Democratic National Convention this September in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the president will formally receive the party’s nomination for a second term. The latest: New York Democratic Reps. Bill Owens and Kathy Hochul, both of whom won special elections in recent years – in 2009 and 2011, respectively – that were heralded by party leaders.
“I guarantee that my time will be better spent meeting the farmers, small business owners and other people who put me here,” Hochul told The Daily today.
A spokesman for Owens gave a similar explanation.
“He just has a packed schedule back home,” he said.
Previously, Pennsylvania Rep. Mark Critz and West Virginia Democrats Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, Sen. Joe Manchin and Rep. Nick Rahall all stated that they will be skipping the event. So these folks do not want their peeps to see them yucking it up with Obama and the crazed Kool-Aid drinkers. So just during election time these politicians decide to stay away from Obama, yet the rest of the time its AOK. The voters in these states and districts should vote them out just for that.
Exit Questions: What will the over/under be in the Vegas line for Democrats skipping the convention?
Democratic West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin Says He Won’t Attend the Democrat National Convention Because He Has Serious Problems With Obama
What happened to the slobbering love affair with Barack Obama? President Obama may have to worry about dissension in the Democrat ranks in 2012.
And so it begins, Democrats start running away from Barack Obama in order to get elected.
Democratic West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin says that he will not attend the Democrat National Convention where he is actually an automatic superdelegate. Tomblin states that he has serious problems with president Barack Obama. Yea, his problem is that he is the Governor of West Virginia facing a challenge this year and has to stay as far away from Obama as humanly possible or face defeat. However, Tomblin is not the only Democrat politician skipping the Democrat National Convention in North Carolina. The Hill is reporting that Democrat Senator Joe Manchin and Rep. Nick Rahall will also be avoiding the Convention.
Tomblin is an automatic superdelegate to the Democratic National Convention. He says his time is best spent working in West Virginia, not attending the four-day political rally in Charlotte, N.C.
In West Virginia’s presidential primary, Tomblin refused to say whether he voted for Obama.
Tomlbin isn’t alone in sitting this one out – West Virginia’s Sen. Joe Manchin and congressman Nick Rahall say they don’t plan to attend the convention, either.
Each of the three faces a Republican.
The Lonely Conservative linked, thanks!

Blue Dog Democrat US Rep. Heath Shuler (D-NC) to Retire … No Run in 2012 Election
Yet another Democrats will not seek reelection in 2012. US Representative Heath Shuler (D-NC) will not run for reelection in 2012. Shuler was first elected in 2006 as a fiscal conservative, Blue Dog Democrat who in many instances broke with Democratic leadership on issues of spending. Shuler voted against President Obama’s 2009 economic stimulus bill as well as healthcare reform. He also launched an unsuccessful attempt to oust Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA) following the 2010 midterm election massacre.
One of the last remaining members of the Blue Dog Coalition, Shuler was hit by congressional redistricting that made his western North Carolina district much more difficult for a Democrat to win. The three-term congressman had been floated as a possible candidate for governor in North Carolina, but announced on Wednesday that he would not be running for that office.
“This was not an easy decision,” Shuler said. “However, I am confident that it is the right decision. It is a decision I have weighed heavily over the past few months. I have always said family comes first, and I never intended to be a career politician.”
Shuler stressed to reporters that family considerations were his sole reason for leaving Congress.
“I’ve got to be at home more, spend some more time with them,” said Shuler, who has a 7-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son.
Let’s face it, many things are against Shuler in 2012. He faces a tough reelection battle due to redistricting, his Democrat party has pretty much left him as it has lurches to the far left, and it is hard to imagine that Obama will carry NV as he did in 2008.

The Lights Go Out in America & The Jobs to China … Democrats Block Repeal of Lightbulb Ban
America, ever wonder where the incandescent light bulbs and jobs went? Just ask Barack Obama and the Democrats who just sent them all to China. Vicki Lawrence is wondering as well. One thing we won’t have to be worried about is being, “Blinded by the Light” as low wattage bulbs are on their way brought to you courtesy of dome dim witted watted politicians. The lights aren’t about to go out in Georgia, but jobs as well in the US.
Thomas Edison just turned over in his grave. On Tuesday, Democrats blocked the bill that would repeal part of a 2007 energy law requiring traditional incandescent light bulbs to be 30 percent more energy efficient beginning in 2012. What would we expect from a bunch of dim bulbs that think that it is the government’s business to tell Americans what type of bulbs they should be allowed and not allowed to buy? I thought Democrats were all about free choice? I guess that only pertains to abortion, not buying light bulbs.
The bill from Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas) to repeal part of a 2007 energy law requiring traditional incandescent light bulbs to be 30 percent more energy efficient beginning in 2012 failed to get the necessary two-thirds support needed for approval under expedited rules. A majority of members — 233 — supported the repeal, including five Democrats. Ten Republicans joined 183 Democrats opposing the measure.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi personally whipped Democratic Caucus members to vote against the bill, a Democratic aide told POLITICO.
“I was concerned that Ms. Pelosi might make it a litmus test issue in her caucus, and she did,” Barton said after the vote. “We only got 5 Democrat votes. Everybody in the Blue Dog caucus and the Black caucus that voted no, voted against their constituents.
It is hard to believe that on January 1, 2012, the 100 watt incandescent bulbs will become illegal. It gets even worse … guess who makes the new light bulbs that your United States government is making you buy, hold, hold … the answer is CHINA!. In the midst of no jobs being created in the US, we are knowingly sending jobs to China in the name of what, light bulb over-legislation? Thank you Democrat party for sending good paying jobs to China. Unreal. You might want to remember this in 2012 at the polls.
Is it any shock that Democrats would vote against their constituents? Didn’t they do the same with Obamacare? These folks represent no one but their own radical interests.
