Joran Van der Sloot Officially Charged with Murder of Stephany Flores in Peru

Joran Van der Sloot has been officially charged with murder in Peru in the death of 21 year old Stephany Flores.  Van der Sloot is also be charged with theft. Peru prosecutors are asking for a 30 year prison sentence. Too bad its not life. Van der Sloot was accused of murder after Flores’ lifeless body was found in Joran’s hotel room as he fled the scene. Unlike Aruba, Peru will convict this murdering, sociopath as there is much evidence pointing to his guilt. Joran Van der Sloot killed Flores on May 30, 2010, five years to the day of the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba.

Van der Sloot was arrested in June of last year, but was not formally charged until Thursday.

Prosecutors are asking for a 30-year prison sentence and a restitution payment of $73,000 to the family of Stephany Flores. They also charged van der Sloot with theft.

Charged alongside van der Sloot were three Peruvian drivers who allegedly helped him flee into Chile. Prosecutors want five-year prison sentences for them and fines of about $1,800.

According to reports, the trial is supposed to begin in October, 2011. Hopefully Joran will get exactly what he has coming to him. It is really too bad that Aruba never locked up this SOB and took him out of the public. By playing games, corruption and cover up in the death of Natalee Holloway, Joran was allowed and emboldened to kill again.

Twenty-three-year-old Trevor Ferguson of Tamworth and 28-year-old Michael Petelis of Ossipee have each been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

According to court docs, Papile and Petelis discussed arrangements to steal drugs and money from Dittmeyer on April 22. They lured her to their apartment, struck her on the head and then bound her with duct tape and placed her in the trunk of her car. Papile removed Dittmeyer from the trunk of her car and disposed of the bound body in a snowmaking pond at Cranmore Mountain where she was ultimately found.

What a shocker, all three of these punks have past criminal records. Ferguson and Petelis are being held on $250,000 cash bail, Papile was denied bail. The three dirt bags are being held at Carroll County House of Correction.

Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 120 Days in Jail for Violation of her Probation

Maybe this will finally teach her a lesson …

Actress Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to jail for 120 days by Judge Stephanie Sautner for violating her her probation. According to TMZ, Lohan was also ordered  ordered to complete 480 hours of community service, 360 of those hours must be performed at the Downtown Women’s Center. Will this finally teach Lohan a life lesson or will this out of control Hollywood actress continue to spiral out of control?

Lohan was also ordered to complete 480 hours of community service — 360 of those hours must be performed at the Downtown Women’s Center, so Lindsay can see how needy women have to live.  The remaining 120 hours will be served at the L.A. County morgue.

Judge Sautner explained that Lindsay should have called the store and notified the owners about the necklace sooner.  She waited several weeks and returned the necklace after finding out the cops were about to raid her house.

Judge Sautner also ruled  that the necklace theft case against Lohan will go forward to trial; however, the felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. Even though the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, the troubled actress could face up to a year in prison if convicted.  Lohan was taken into custody following today’s court hearing in her necklace theft case. She is expected to post a $75,000 bond and be freed. Her court date is set for June 3, 2011. Will this finally be a wake up call for Lindsay Lohan?

Before delivering the good news to Lohan about the reduction of the charge, the judge addressed her much-publicized misbehavior.

“She thumbs her nose at the court,” Sautner said, referring to an incident with another judge last year. “She walks into court with ‘F U’ on her fingernails. I don’t know what that means unless it has ‘I am’ before it.”

Snake on a Plane: Passenger Steals $238,000 By Crawling Through Airplane Bathroom

Its a cross between “Snakes on a Plane, ”Shawshank Redemption” and “Catch me if You Can” … , but in real life.

A man pretending to be sick, went to the bathroom aboard a plane, tears apart the toilet, sneaks into the cargo hold, and steals  $238,000. An ambulance arrived at the tarmac to meet the man, who suddenly stated he felt better. The result, the man walked out of the airport without having to go through the normal security checks.

An ingenious thief swiped almost $250,000 on a flight in the Caribbean after sneaking into the cash-laden cargo hold via the restroom, police said Thursday.

A Brink’s security employee placed three sacks of cash containing a total $1.6 million in the hold of the Air Antilles plane before it headed from the French island of Guadeloupe to the Franco-Dutch island of Saint Martin.
