Marcus Fiesel Murder Story on TV Sunday Night on “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall”

Marcus Fiesel Murder Story on TV Sunday Night at 10 p.m. Sunday on the Investigation Discovery channel.

It was August 15, 2006 when Liz and husband David Carroll said on  that 3 year old Marcus Fiesel disappeared in an Anderson Township, OH park. This sparking a search by thousands of volunteers that lasted several days. Marcus’ mom Liz Caroll tearfully begged people to help find her son, all the while she knew exactly what had happened and what she did to this poor child.

Marcus Fiesel

Marcus Fiesel, RIP

The death of 3-year-old Marcus Fiesel, who authorities said was killed by his foster parents in 2006, will be featured on “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” 10 p.m. Sunday on the Investigation Discovery channel.

The one-hour show includes an interview with Liz Carroll, Marcus’ foster mother, who is serving a life prison sentence after her conviction in a Clermont County Common Pleas Court in 2007.

Investigation Discovery, one of the sister Discovery Channel networks, can be found in Greater Cincinnati on Time Warner Channels 1139 (HD) and 139, and on Northern Kentucky Time Warner Channels 948 (HD) and 471, and Cincinnati Fioptics Channels 675 (HD) and 275.

What really happened to Marcus as Liz Carroll was providing crocodile tears …

Liz and David Carroll wrapped Marcus in a blanket, bound him with duct tape and left him in a hot closet without food and water while they went out of town for a weekend family reunion, prosecutors said.

After finding him dead, David Carroll and his live-in lover, Amy Baker, took Marcus’ body to a rural area and burned it with gasoline. Then they threw the remains in the Ohio River.

The horrific 2006 murder of 3 year old Marcus Fiesel, a special needs Foster child, was one that shocked the senses of everyone, including myself. However, from the outset of the case of missing Marcus Fiesel, some thing just seemed to be wrong. Flashback to 2006,  Scared Monkeys followed the events from the outset and had posted some rather critical articles of the foster parents accounts, obviously striking a nerve with Liz Carroll. The posts prompted Liz to leave a comment on Missing & Exploited web page that was far from PG rated and some what threatening. Needless to say it was forwarded to authorities. That very next morning, as fate would have it, Liz and David Carroll were arrested in the death of Marcus Fiesel.

Scared Monkeys: Missing & Exploited was later contacted by Rick McCrabb of the Ohio newspaper, The Middletown Journal, for comments and our coverage of this case.

Newspapers and television stations in southwest Ohio have followed every step in the case, and now that his foster parents have been charged, the story has grabbed the attention of media outlets throughout the United States.

There are Web sites that feature photo albums, message boards, chat rooms and slide and video shows. One of those is www.scaredmonkeys.com, dedicated to exploited and missing children. “Red,” one of the site’s co-founders, said after news of Marcus’ disappearance was linked to his Web site, he received an e-mail from Marcus’ foster mother. She chastised the site for their portrayal.

“As soon as she did that, well, it was like, she’s guilty,” Red said Friday from his office in Maine. “You knew this was going to end bad. The radar just went up. It raises the hair on the back of your neck. When you kill your son, and go public pleading for help, it brings it to a special level of hell.”

He said Marcus’ story has drawn widespread coverage because people are so “disgusted by it.” (Middletown Journal)

Here is one comment from Liz that we were able to print. Too bad she was lying through her murderous teeth.

First, I would like to state that the most important thing that everyone should be concerned about is finding my son. My family’s past and living arrangements have absolutely nothing to do with finding him. My family left our home to avoid media and multiple stangers from sitting outside our house at all hours. We have cooperated 110% with the detectives and have stayed in touch with them on a daily basis. Again, my family has done nothing wrong, we love and miss Marcus. I regret going to the park, not sitting down and not eating that morning. My family and I take day care and foster care children to King’s Island, Water parks, town parks, YMCA, aquariums, carnivals, festivals, and many more places. Since this incident, I have not been left alone and we haven’t taken out kids anywhere but school shopping. I am begging for anyone and everyone that reads this to PLEASE help me find my son. I know that I will not be able to care for him after this incident but I still need to know that he is alright. PLEASE call crime stoppers with ANY possible leads!!!!!!Thank you.

Barack Obama’s Killing Fields … 82 Shot, 14 of Them Killed in Chicago Over the Fourth of July Weekend

The Windy City Killing Fields … Hey, isn’t Barack Obama call Chicago home?

Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy stated his frustration Monday regarding the violence that took place in Chicago over the 4th of July weekend, “The illogical nature of what’s happening here — that government can intercede and prevent this from happening is overwhelming. And I refuse to think otherwise in a great country like America that we can continue to allow this to happen. On the July 4th weekend, 82 individuals were shot and 14 killed. The result of weak gun laws for criminals. Obama does not appear to be concerned, but MC Hammer is.

McCarthy, reciting the criminal histories of several of the suspects in this weekend’s violence, noted gang members face tougher consequences for losing their guns from their gangs than from authorities.

“Possession of a loaded firearm — it’s not even considered a violent felony in the state of Illinois for sentencing purposes — which is why you see the revolving door,” he said.

Among the suspects: a man wanted in connection with a murder who has 21 prior arrests, and another with six previous arrests, including one this year for aggravated assault for discharging a weapon.

“How this individual is out on bond is beyond me,” McCarthy said.

The incidents include eight times in which police fired guns at suspects or were fired on, McCarthy told reporters. In two of those incidents, police shot and killed the suspects, both of whom were 16.

For 10 minutes, it seemed like the shooting was everywhere in the South Chicago neighborhood.

It started when someone shot and wounded a couple, then two people fired at the shooter, then there was a chase and shots exchanged and a man sitting on a porch was hit. Responding officers kept cutting each other off on their radios as they reported other gunfire in the area late Sunday night and early Monday morning.

Then the heavy equipment rolled in: A helicopter and SUVs packed with lockers of rifles. SWAT teams in green coveralls patrolled the streets with uniformed officers.

It was just one of dozens of shooting scenes across Chicago over the long Fourth of July weekend. In all, at least 82 people were shot, 14 of them fatally, since Thursday afternoon when two woman were shot as they sat outside a two-flat within a block of Garfield Park.

Five of the people were shot by police over 36 hours on Friday and Saturday, including two boys 14 and 16 who were killed when they allegedly refused to drop their guns.

O.J. Simpson: 20 Years Since the Murders of Nicole Brown Simpson & Ron Goldman… After Midnight on the Morning of June 13, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were Found Murdered Outside her Home in Los Angeles, CA

It is hard to believe it has been 20 years since the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. The two were found brutally murdered outside of her home in Los Angeles, CA.

Long after the so-called “not guilty” verdict of O J Simpson in the horrific murders of  Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman so many questions still remain.  There was a mountain of evidence, including DNA, that should have made this a slam dunk case. However, in what was probably the greatest example ever of jury nullification, a jury acquitted OJ Simpson in the double murders. Of course, common sense and rational people knew then and know now much different. The murder trial of O.J Simpson was dubbed, The Trial of the Century. But sadly, instead of the trial being about finding justice for Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, for their brutal and savage murders, the Defense ‘Dream Team’ sought to make the trial about race and pulled the race card out from the bottom of the deck. The trial divided America. The verdict was a travesty of justice and for all those involved in that travesty, and applauded that travesty … God help you.

Remember Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman murdered 6/12/94

To many, particularly in minority communities,  the trial of Orenthal James Simpson became not so much a determination of his guilt or innocence of murder in the first degree, beyond a reasonable doubt, but whether or not a black man could find justice in a legal system designed by and largely administered by whites. To others, many of whom were white, the key question was whether a mostly minority jury would convict a black celebrity regardless of the weight of evidence against him.

Ron Goldman’s father: Son’s death is ‘like yesterday’

AP PHOTOS: Memorable images from OJ Simpson case.

NBC News Today:

“It’s like yesterday,” said Fred Goldman on TODAY Wednesday. His son, Ron Goldman, was murdered along with Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson. “The loss is exactly the same. Nothing has changed.”

Years after O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murders, questions remain about what happened 20 years ago this month and how an apparently strong case with “a mountain of DNA evidence” failed result in a conviction.

Shortly after midnight on the morning of June 13, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were found murdered outside her home in Los Angeles. Evidence on the scene led police to suspect O.J. Simpson of the murders, and Simpson’s lawyers arranged for him to turn himself in on the morning of June 17.

Soon after Simpson failed to appear at the allotted time, police issued an all-points bulletin. Early that evening, a bizarre low-speed chase ensued, with up to 20 police cars pursuing Simpson in his white Bronco, driven by his friend Al Cowlings, while media helicopters televised the chase nationwide. The chase ended at Simpson’s house, where he eventually surrendered peacefully.

Simpson’s trial on two counts of murder began in January 1995 and ended with his acquittal more than eight months later.

Most people focus on the cute tag line by the late defense attorney Johnny Cochran when O.J Simpson was asked to put on the bloody gloves, “If It Doesn’t Fit, You Must Acquit”.  There is a general rule withing the legal industry that a lawyer is never to ask a question they do not already know the answer to. Assistant DA Darden blew this one.

However, folks may want to better remember where that bloody golf came from, the gruesome crime scene where Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were stabbed to death. Where Nicole’s head was nearly severed from her body. Take a good look at that bloody glove, doesn’t seem so cute with “if it doesn’t fit” does it? What doesn’t fit is that an obviously guilty individual was set free.  WARNING – DISTURBING AND GRAPHIC PHOTOS: pics here of crime scene.

16 months after the killings of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman on June 12, 1994, a jury found there was not enough evidence against O.J. Simpson to convict him. But there was plenty of evidence the jury didn’t see.

  • Nicole’s best friend Kris Jenner said Nicole told her just weeks before the murders, “He’s gonna kill me, and he’s gonna get away with it.”
  • Two other key witnesses told police they saw O.J. Simpson soon after the killings. Jill Shively said, “All of a sudden, a white car comes flying north on Bundy, and I barely miss him. It was O.J. Simpson.” But Shively never testified because she sold her story to the press.
  • Jurors never heard, either, from Skip Junis, who said he saw the former football star and actor at the airport later that night. “He was carrying this little, cheap gym bag, and was pulling things out and dumping ‘em in the trash can,” he said.
  • There was also a suicide note, read by Simpson’s close friend Robert Kardashian. It was never heard in court. Neither did 911 recordings from the police’s famous low-speed chase of the white Bronco on Los Angeles highways.

3 Inmates Escape from Canadian Jail Using a Helicopterin Quebec City … Suspects: Yves Denis Yvon Lamontagne, Denis Lefebvre & Serge Pomerleau (Update: Canadian Escapees Captured)

Movie-like prison break in the Great White North …

Three inmates escaped from a Quebec City, Canada jail Saturday night with the aid of a helicopter. A Sûreté du Québec spokesperson confirmed to CBC News that the prison break occurred at 7:45 p.m. ET from Orsainville Detention Centre and the inmates fled westbound in a green helicopter. There is currently a massive manhunt under way in Canada and the United States for Yves Denis Yvon Lamontagne, 35, Denis Lefebvre, 53, and Serge Pomerleau, 49. All are considered involved with organized crime.

In a daring operation worthy of a movie, three men escaped from a Canadian jail by helicopter, prompting a massive manhunt, authorities said.

The men escaped from a detention center Saturday night in Quebec City.

“A helicopter touched down briefly in the courtyard before taking off with the three prisoners,” Ann Mathieu, a spokeswoman for Quebec Provincial Police, told CNN.

“We are talking closely with the detention center to figure out exactly how the escape transpired,” Mathieu told CNN partner CBC. “The priority … is to find the helicopter.”

A manhunt is under way for Yves Denis Yvon Lamontagne, 35, Denis Lefebvre, 53, and Serge Pomerleau, 49.

UPDATE I: Quebec manhunt widens for escaped inmates after helicopter jailbreak.

The three men were originally arrested on drug trafficking and gangsterism charges in 2010, according to police.

Denis is also facing first-degree murder charges, while Lefebvre and Pomerleau are facing charges of murder and conspiracy to murder, according to the Quebec provincial police website.

As the search continued Sunday, police added the escapees to the list of Quebec’s 10 most wanted.

The status of the men’s cases in the court system was not immediately clear. Provincial jails in Canada normally house people awaiting trial or those sentenced to offenses of two years or less behind bars.

Police said the men were swept up in a major 2010 police operation called Operation Ecrevisse (Project Crayfish), aimed at bringing down a drug trafficking ring in northwestern Quebec.

UPDATE II: Escapees in Canadian helicopter jailbreak captured.

“The prisoners were arrested at 1:30 in the morning in Montreal. The SWAT team made the arrest and those three people will appear in court … Monday in Quebec City,” Quebec police spokesman Sgt. Ronald Mc Innis told CNN.

He declined to say any more about the arrest as the investigation is continuing.

The helicopter’s pilot hasn’t yet been caught, according to police, but more arrests are expected, Mc Innis said.
