Just Disgusting … Pope Francis Says 1 in 50 Roman Catholic Priests Are Pedophiles … Abuse of Children was Like “Leprosy” Infecting the Church
WHEN WILL THE CATHOLIC CHURCH PURGE ITSELF OF THIS SCOURGE?
Pope Francis was quoted in an Italian newspaper, La Repubblica, that 1 in 50 or 2% of Roman Catholic priests are pedophiles. The Pope said that the abuse of children was like “leprosy” infecting the Church. However, the Vatican was quick to backtrack on the comments and say that the Pope was misquoted. What, did the Pontiff quote a higher number? At some point the Vatican is going to have to come clean and rid itself of this terrible blight. If they think its an “infection” then they best find a cure pretty damn soon.
Pope Francis on Sunday was quoted by an Italian newspaper saying that about two percent — or 1 in 50 — of Roman Catholic priests are pedophiles, but the Vatican quickly released a statement saying the pontiff had been misquoted. Church officials also said that the journalist who did the story for La Repubblica had a history of having long conversations with public figures without taking notes or taping them, and then reconstructing them from memory.
“Many of my collaborators who fight with me (against pedophilia) reassure me with reliable statistics that say that the level of pedophilia in the Church is at about two percent,” Francis was quoted as saying.
The Pope likens pedophilia inside church to ‘leprosy’.
The Pope reportedly told Italian newspaper la Repubblica that abuse of children was like “leprosy” infecting the Church.
Francis said the “corruption of a child is the terrible and unclean thing imaginable” and vowed to “confront it with the seriousness it demands”.
He said that paedophilia was unfortunately common and widespread.
“The church is fighting for the eradication of the habit and for education that rehabilitates. But this leprosy is also present in our house,” he was reported to have said.
“Many of my colleagues who are working against it tell me that paedophilia inside the church is at the level of two per cent. Among the two per cent who are paedophiles are priests and even bishops and cardinals.”

17 Year Old Angelic Tracy ‘Anji’ Dean Missing Since 6/23/14 in Camas, WA … May Be A Victim of Human Trafficking: “If You’re Reading This, I’m Either Missing or Dead.” (Update: Found Safe)
17 year old Angelic Tracy ‘Anji’ Dean has been missing since June 23, 2014 in Camas, Washington. The missing teen left an entry in her journal that read, “If you’re reading this, I’m either missing or dead.” The police fear that ‘Anji’ Dean may be a victim of human trafficking after mysteriously vanishing from her Camas home. Prior to her disappearance, “She had been telling some people for a while that she was involved in something, that she was in over her head, that she was scared.” Anji is described as 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 135-145-pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Anji was last seen wearing exercise clothes, black tights that stop at midcalf, white Nike tennis shoes with light green soles, and a white, razor-back tank top. She may also have a white backpack.
A 17-year-old Washington girl missing for the last two weeks left a chilling message in her journal no mother should have to find.
“If you’re reading this, I’m either missing or dead,” the entry penned by Angelic Tracy ‘Anji’ Dean read.
Authorities fear she’s become a victim of human trafficking after mysteriously vanishing from her Camas home June 23.
The blue-eyed brunette left behind her cellphone, ID, bank cards and the eyeglasses she needs to see, according to the National Women’s Coalition Against Violence and Exploitation (NWCAVE), which is assisting in her search.
UPDATE I: Police believe missing Camas teen may be in danger.
Jorgensen said in recent months Anji had been dealing with what her family thought might be some episodes of “teenage angst” and “normal teenage girl depression.”
“Now we are kind of finding out that there was a different, underlying reason,” she said. “She had been telling some people for a while that she was involved in something, that she was in over her head, that she was scared. But they couldn’t get any more information than that out of her.”
Anji’s journal hints at some of those fears and troubles. In addition, she sent her boyfriend some ominous text messages the day she went missing, saying she was in danger, and that people had threatened to kill him and her family. Her boyfriend is cooperating with law enforcement.
“She has never been out on her own for more than a day,” Jorgensen said. “We assumed she was with her boyfriend, or something like that. We had the police talk to him as well. The moment we found out she wasn’t with him, that’s when we really started freaking out because we had no idea where she was.”
She left behind several items of importance including her prescription eyeglasses, bank cards, makeup and clothes, as well as some medications.
“What we see traditionally is if you’re running away from home because you don’t like the rules or you’re running away from something, that’s not against the law, but those types of individuals will take something with them,” Bart said. “If you’re being lured away, you are told to leave things behind so that nobody can track you. That’s the difference.”
Investigators with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office are interested in speaking to an African-American male, approximately 25 to 35 years of age, with a goatee, who drives a light blue older model, square body Volvo. He was seen by a neighbor dropping Anji off in front of her home on June 23 at 4:30 p.m.

Investigators said they received about 150 phone tips about the girl’s whereabouts, and numerous tips through social media. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit was able to locate Dean at the mall in Clackamas County, interview her and reunite her with her family, according to a news release from the agency.
“This is an active investigation that includes the crime of human trafficking,” Sgt. Kevin Allais said in the new release.
Dean’s mother, Lynda Jorgensen, spoke with reporters Wednesday at the family’s home in Camas shortly after getting the call from Detective Scott Kirgiss that her daughter had been found.
“We’re very, very thankful that she’s OK,” Jorgensen said.

Nancy Peosi (D-CA) Says After Tour of Humanitarian Crisis on US-Mexico Southern Border …”We are all Americans” … “Not a Crisis But an Opportunity”
UM, who was it that caused this humanitarian crisis on the US-Mexican border by not enforcing US immigration policy?
House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) held a press conference after her tour of the humanitarian crisis of thousands unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border and called it a “humanitarian opportunity”. HUH? Of course that was after she commented that “We are all Americans”. Which sadly is the real reason why San Fran Nan cares at all about this situation on the border … turning a crisis into an opportunity and making thousands of “unaccompanied children” US citizens and government dependent Democrat voters.
We have to ask ourselves, why did this happen under the Obama administration at this time? What else would folks think from South American countries when you do not enforce United States immigration policy?
Let’s make this an opportunity to crate future government dependent Democrat voters
Pelosi explained, “We are all Americans — north and south in this hemisphere,” and urged America to see this as not a crisis but an opportunity “to be helpful.” She also said she wished she could simply “take home” the thousands of children temporarily housed in the overburden facilities.
According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, in the past fiscal year more than 47,000 unaccompanied children have crossed the border into the United States through Mexico with the majority coming from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Put your money where your mouth is Nancy. Powerline points out that we could put many of these young people that you claim to care so much out in and on the many homes and property you own. Take them home with you, if you really mean it.
Pelosi said repeatedly that she wants to take all the kids she has seen in Texas home. Actually, she could: not all, but quite a few of them. The Obama administration certainly wouldn’t stop her from breaking the law. And Pelosi’s various mansions could house quite a few Central Americans. Her husband Paul, the brains of the family, is a very rich man, which frees Nancy to fool around with politics. This is the Pelosi mansion in San Francisco.
Nancy could house 20 or 30 Central Americans there. But that’s nothing. The Pelosi vineyard in Napa Valley could be home to several hundred. Look at the low population density!
