Alec Baldwin to get a Show on MSNBC … Surely They Can’t Be Serious?

Could MSNBC become any more of a joke? Looks like the Magic 8 Ball says … signs point to yes.

As reported by Mediaite, Alec Baldwin is going to host a prime time show on the MSNBC cable news channel. According to Mediaite, Bladwin will not be replacing any of the stellar prime time news talent that MSNBC as assembled, but instead will replace the Lockup prison documentary series that airs Friday evenings. Are you kidding, that is actually the only show worth watching on the pathetic network. It would appear that MSNBC is neither confirming or denying the rumor.

Is the only reason why anyone would watch this to see if he has a melt down on live TV? But alas there is no way they would allow such a show to be taped live.

War on woman? Take a good look what MSNBC thinks should host a show on their network … Alec Baldwin calls his 12 year old daughter a “rude, thoughtless little  pig.”

Mediaite has learned from a senior source in the cable news industry with knowledge of MSNBC’s programming that actor Alec Baldwin is getting his own weekly show in MSNBC’s primetime lineup.

According to our source, the so far untitled show will air Fridays at 10 p.m. ET and will feature a large dose of Baldwin’s outspoken liberal politics.

The gig would make sense, considering Baldwin’s long history with the NBC family. He starred on the network’s award-winning sitcom 30 Rock for seven years, has frequently hosted Saturday Night Live, and hosted the network’s American airing of 2007?s Live Earth concert. Most important, Baldwin’s fiercely liberal and often combative political views make sense for a network that has become the place for progressive viewpoints on cable.

Twitchy is a flutter with some great tweets regarding Alec Baldwin to MSNBC. How comical, pathetic and telling is it that FOX News puts an intelligent, aspiring and up and coming female talent like Megyn Kelly to prime time on their network and MSNBC puts a tired, old cranky, child hating, gay bashing lunatic white man like Alec Baldwin on theirs? Really, is this how far this cable network has fallen? I am going to go out on a limb and say it will not be too long before Lock Up is back on Friday’s.

Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin.com could not have stated it any better, “If the story is true, it’s another desperate attempt by MSNBC to make Al Sharpton look like the rational one”. Amen brother!

Priceless, what a sell out, hypocrite. Alec Baldwin, infamous for getting into physical and verbal altercations with photographers, turns around and sells his pics the the tabloids, the very folks that he claims to despise. I would dare say that if it were not for Alec Baldwin getting free PR with his volital temper, he would get no PR at all. Now after all his complaining and grandstanding that photo-journalists are intruding on his privacy, he looks for $’s for his wedding pics. Just unreal. Although, with Baldwin’s waning popularity, maybe he might get a buck, fifty.

Actor Alec Bladwin appears to have done it again. TMZ is reporting Baldwin got into another fracas with a photographer. TMZ has the VIDEO of Baldwin once again losing it with a photo-journalist. WOW, one of these times this guy is just going to totally lose it.  Baldwin is a bomb just waiting to go off.

Alec Baldwin got physical with ANOTHER photog in New York City moments ago … verbally blasting the guy in the middle of the street, squeezing his arm and ordering him to scram.

It’s unclear what touched off the aggressive confrontation … but we do know the paps have been following Alec all over the place since the infamous shoving incident at the court house last week.

It seems Alec finally had enough …

This time, Alec — clutching a pink stuffed animal — approached one of the photogs who was hanging out in front of his apartment building and lashed out, “I want you to shut the f**k up … leave my neighbor alone … get outta here.”

It was just a couple of weeks ago that Alec Baldwin had punched a photographer outside of a Manhattan marriage license bureau.

According to reports, 30 Rock actor Alec Baldwin is being accused of punching Daily News photographer Marcus Santos after Baldwin and his fiancee Hilaria Thomas were leaving the Marriage Bureau in New York City. A complaint has been filed against Baldwin with the NYPD. Alec Baldwin had a different version of events, go figure. The narcissist actually said on Twitter, he later compared the incident to the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin: “I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over.” UNREAL. This fool would make light of the death of Trayvon Martin. Baldwin needs mental help.

However, when it comes to Baldwin’s temper and self-centered actions, his past actions speak for themselves. Maybe “smart” Alec Baldwin thought he was on a plane at LAX?  Folks like Alec Baldwin think they are special and live under a different set of rules.

The groom-to-be went ballistic when photographer Marcus Santos snapped him outside the Worth St. office after Baldwin and fiancee Hilaria Thomas picked up their license in lower Manhattan about 9:30 a.m.

“He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin,” said Santos, 42, adding that he was coming to the defense of another photographer. “And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. He lunged at me like raging bull.”

The incident was seen by a witness, Goran Veljic, who said that it  wasn’t pretty.

“He was very mad. He was mad, mad, mad!” Veljic said.

Veljic told CBS 2?s Tony Aiello that Santos and another photographer were indeed stepping back.

“I saw, they was, you know, far from him, take pictures, move back, he walked. They don’t touch him,” Veljic said.

A note to Baldwin’s fiancee  Hilaria Thomas, good luck with the marriage  toots, you are going to need it.

Alec Baldwin Thrown Off American Airlines Plane at LAX

Say it isn’t so, a liberal who thinks that the rules don’t apply to them.

What a shock, a liberal not listening to some one in authority and thinking that the rules do not apply to them.  Such was the case with NBC 30 Rock actor Alec Baldwin aboard an American Airlines plane at LAX. Baldwin was removed from the flight for not listening to the flight attendant. The incident caused the plane to have to return to the gate and delayed the flight for other passengers. What a smart Alec.

Hot-head Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight this afternoon in Los Angeles because he was playing a game on his phone apparently past the point when passengers are supposed to have turned off their devices.

On his Twitter account, Baldwin wrote: “Flight attendant on American [Airlines] reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving.”

Fellow passengers stuck on the runway at Los Angeles International Airport quickly tweeted about the incident moments after it took place.

“On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane. We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait.”

Baldwin was aboard AA Flight 4, which was delayed an hour, when the “30 Rock” star was booted for not listening to the flight attendant.

So here we have an example of some one behaving badly and not following the rules, yet Baldwin tweeted as if he was the victim.Oh and wait, he attacked women as well. I guess he must have had a flashback of leaving a message for his daughter calling her a little pig.  What would have happened if Baldwin had acted so rudely to TSA agents before getting on the plane?

An American Airlines spokesman declined comment, saying the company does not comment on “something that might or might not have happened” due to customers’ privacy concerns.

Meanwhile, Baldwin continued his criticism of the airline on Twitter.

He vowed never to fly American Airlines again.

“#theresalwaysunited,” Baldwin tweeted. “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950?s find jobs as flight attendants.”

Nice. How selfish could one be, but then again, He’s Alec Baldwin and he’s special.

UPDATE I: American Airlines fires back on Facebook of what took place to have Baldwin tossed off plane.

Since an extremely vocal customer has publicly identified himself as being removed from an American Airlines flight on Tuesday, Dec. 6, we have elected to provide the actual facts of the matter as well as the FAA regulations which American, and all airlines, must enforce. Cell phones and electronic devices are allowed to be used while the aircraft is at the gate and the door is open for boarding. When the door is closed for departure and the seat belt light is turned on, all cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off for taxi-out and take-off. This passenger declined to turn off his cell phone when asked to do so at the appropriate time. The passenger ultimately stood up (with the seat belt light still on for departure) and took his phone into the plane’s lavatory. He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked. They immediately contacted the cabin crew to check on the situation. The passenger was extremely rude to the crew, calling them inappropriate names and using offensive language. Given the facts above, the passenger was removed from the flight and denied boarding.
