Mitt Romney Up 6% in Quinnipiac Poll in Battleground State of Florida … Romney 47% – Obama 41%

The presumptive Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney surges in Florida over Barack Obama.

According to the most recent Quinnipiac poll, Romney is up 6% over Obama and leads the incumbent President in the Sunshine state 47% to 41%. This is quite a statement for Romney, taking the lead in the key battleground state of Florida. What seems to be driving the poll is the 45 approve – 55% disapprove of Obama job approval and the 58% yes – 30% no likability of Romney.

Gov. Mitt Romney holds a 47 – 41 percent lead over President Barack Obama in Florida, where 63 percent of voters say the president’s support of same-sex marriage will not affect their vote, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Another 25 – 11 percent of voters, including 23 – 9 percent among independent voters, say Obama’s support of gay marriage makes them less likely to support his candidacy.

Adding Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio to the GOP ticket would give the Republican Romney/Rubio team a 49 – 41 percent lead over President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.

Romney’s lead in the horse race compares to a 44 – 43 percent tie in a May 3 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University and a 49 – 42 percent Obama lead March 28.

Florida is a truly representative swing state and could spell political reelection doom for Obama and what the landscape will look like in the rest of the battleground states up for grabs in the 2012 Presidential election.

VP Joe Biden to Obama’s Rescue in Three Battle Ground States of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida

Talk about a big “F’n” deal …

How bad is it for Barack Obama and his reelection chances in 2012? Obama has dispatched VP Joe Biden to the battleground states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. YIKES!!! My how the mighty Obama has fallen. Obama won Ohio (52%-47%), Pennsylvania (55%-44%) and Florida (51%-48%) in 2008. Now Obama finds himself in a desperate way in all three states as he has managed to lose the Jewish, blue collar and Independent vote.

A year from Election Day, Democrats are crafting a campaign strategy for Vice President Joe Biden that targets the big three political battlegrounds: Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, states where Biden might be more of an asset to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign than the president himself.

The Biden plan underscores an uncomfortable reality for the Obama team. A shaky economy and sagging enthusiasm among Democrats could shrink the electoral map for Obama in 2012, forcing his campaign to depend on carrying the 67 electoral votes up for grabs in the three swing states.

Obama won all three states in 2008. But this time he faces challenges in each, particularly in Ohio and Florida, where voters elected Republican governors in the 2010 midterm elections.

So Obama’s answer for help in these three swing states is Joe Biden. Really, imagine that? Many have thought that Obama should swap out Biden for Hillary Clinton for the VP spot. Now we see that a desperate Obama needs Joe to appeal the the common folk and those individuals who cling to their Bibles and guns.

Sorry Democrats, if Joe Biden is your secret weapon to win OH, PA and FL … you are in deep trouble. Take a good look at what the three swing states have in store for them … go get ‘em Joe. EESH!!!

Mason-Dixon: Another Poll has Obama Losing in 2012 Presidential Election, Polling Badly in Florida

Billy Joel sang, “Say Goodbye to Hollywood’, Obama might be sing saying the same to Florida.

Another day and another poll have President Barack Obama losing in the all important battle ground state of Florida. The latest grim news comes from a new Sachs/Mason-Dixon has Obama trailing GOP challengers Mitt Romney and in a dead heat with Texas Governor Rick Perry in the battle for the Sunshine state.Barack Obama has a meager 41% job approval, while 56% disapprove, including an incredible 55% of Independents.

Among the findings of the August Sachs/Mason-Dixon Florida Poll:

***51 percent of Floridians would vote for Governor Romney compared to 43 percent for President Obama;

***In a hypothetical matchup with Texas Governor Rick Perry, Perry leads with 46 percent to Obama’s 45 percent;

***President Obama leads Congresswoman Michele Bachmann 46 percent to 44 percent; and

***41 percent of Floridians approve of President Obama’s job performance while 56 percent disapprove. Fifty five percent of independents disapprove.

Just the other day, a Magellan poll had Obama with a 37% approval rating in Florida. As stated at the Business Insider, Obama’s swing state woes continue. If this trend continues, which with an economy that sees no sign of improving, there is no reason why Obama’s polling numbers will get better, the swing woes will turn into an election landslide.

Obama can thank his lucky stars that the election is not tomorrow.
