What Hypocrisy … Candy Crowley Asks Does it Matter if There is a Lack of Diversity In Obama Cabinet Matter?
Yet another example of media double standard and the demise of the MSM …
Just when you thought there could not be any more hypocrisy from the liberal MSM, they outdo themselves. It is simply amazing just how far they have sold their journalistic integrity when covering Barack Obama. The latest example is their coverage of Obama’s lack of diversity in his Cabinet picks. On CNN’s State of the Union this weekend, host Candy Crowley began a segment on Obama’s lack of diversity in his Cabinet picks by asking her guests, “Does it matter?”
From Newsbusters:
CANDY CROWLEY: There is a lot made about the president’s latest picks in the cabinet. Jack Lew, Senator Hagel, Senator Kerry in key positions here. Treasury, defense, state department. Something that your colleague Congressman Rangel said about the lack of diversity in the cabinet thus far. I’m sorry. Yeah, he said, “It’s embarrassing as hell,” his words. “We’ve been through all of this with [2012 GOP presidential nominee] Mitt Romney. And we were very hard with Mitt Romney with the women binder and a variety of things. And I kind of think there’s no excuse with the second term.” He was talking about where are all these, and there was a White House cabinet picture, a photo that went out and it was kind of astonishing in its white male variety. First of all, does it matter?
What a joke, even Democrat US Rep. Charlie Rangel from New York realizes it is an issue, yet those in the MSM like Candy Crowley who continually carry the water for Obama suddenly have a change of heart when it comes to holding Obama accountable. From Mediaite, Representative Elijah Cummings (D-MD) said that “it does matter” but noted “it’s a little bit early” to judge, because not all the cabinet positions have been filled. All during the 2012 Presidential election the MSM accused the GOP of a “war on woman” and continually accuse the Republic party as being one of white men. Yet, when Barack Obama does the same with his Cabinet, the media asks whether diversity matters. UNREAL. It is simply shameful that a media would provide Obama a pass when we all know that if and when a Republican is the president and did the same thing, they would be calling for diversity.
For the MSM diversity does matter, as long as Barack Obama is not President. They have sold their journalistic souls to be Obama’s propaganda machine.

President Barack Obama’s Popularity Wanes, Especially Among Woman, Now Negative 46-50%.
RUT-ROH BARACK … Women are turning on Obama.
President Barack Obama goes into the Democrat National Convention on a polling low as his popularity wanes. Only 47% of registered voters in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll see Obama favorably overall, down 7% from April. The most startling data is the fact that Obama has lost all of his popularity among woman and is now underwater with them. So much for Romney’s gender gap. So much for Obama and the Democrats claiming that the GOP is waging a war on women. Looks like it has backfired.
Full poll results HERE.
Barack Obama approaches his nomination for a second term with the lowest pre-convention personal popularity of an incumbent president in ABC News/Washington Post polls since the 1980s. He’s also at his lowest of the year among registered voters, with trouble among women.
Just 47 percent of registered voters in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll see Obama favorably overall, down 7 percentage points from his recent peak in April, while 49 percent rate him unfavorably. He’s numerically underwater in this group for the first time since February.
The decline has occurred entirely among women registered voters – from 57-39 percent favorable-unfavorable in April to a numerically negative 46-50 percent now. That’s Obama’s lowest score among women voters – a focus of recent political positioning – in ABC/Post polls since he took office.
As stated at Blue Crab Boulevard, isn’t it fitting that Obama is now underwater, so many Americans mortgages are under water and the Dems at the DNC is at this moment showing a tribute to Ted Kennedy. Someone else who left someone underwater. OUCH!!!

Black Caucus Chairman Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.) Calls Democrats For Claims GOP is Waging ‘War on Women’ & WI Gov. Scott Walker Comparisons to Hitler
Prominent Democrat calls Obama’s “War on Woman” comments absurd and a made up premise …
US Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) called out Democrats over the weekend and condemned them for making such charges like Republicans are engaged in a “War on Woman”. When directly asked whether it was wrong for Democrats to claim that the GOP is conducting a war on woman Cleaver responded, “Yes, that is wrong, and I have never said it, not one time,” he said. “I condemn it. If it’s a Democrat, if it’s my cousin, then it’s wrong.” Cleaver called such comments damaging to the body politic. However, earlier in the show DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was asked the same questions and responded with no direct answer while moving her lips. Debbie did all but say there was a war on woman. Cleaver also called such comparisons like GOP Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker to Hitler useless and unproductive.
The chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), on Sunday condemned the charge by some Democrats that Republicans are engaged in a “war on women.”
Cleaver appeared on an Easter Sunday panel on CNN’s “State of the Union” to criticize the claim by some conservatives that the Obama administration is prosecuting a “war on religion” through its policy mandating that employees of religious organizations have access to contraception.
“We’ve got to quit exaggerating our political differences,” Cleaver said. He pointed out that he had condemned fellow Democrats for comparing Wisconsin GOP Gov. Scott Walker to Adolf Hitler.
Who thinks that Cleaver will be getting a call from the Obama White House to cease and desist?
