Quinnipiac University National Job Approval Rating is Underwater, 44% Approve, 48% Disapprove

President Barack Obama’s job approval ratings are floundering as they are back in the negative as his administrations in plagued by multiple scandals and ineffective leadership. According to the most recent Quinnipiac poll, Barack Obama finds himself in the negative as the American people do not approve of the job he is doing. The poll states that 44% approve, while 48% disapproval of his job. One has to wonder how his job approval rating is this high with a continued bad economy, Obamacare imploding and the Middle East on fire.

American voters say 61 – 27 percent that it is not in the national interest to be involved in Syria and oppose 59 – 27 percent providing arms and military supplies to anti-government groups, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today.

Republicans, Democrats and independent voters all agree that helping Syria is not in America’s interest and all oppose providing arms and supplies to rebels. Republicans and Democrats support drone/cruise strikes, while independent voters are divided.

American voters give President Barack Obama a negative 40 – 52 percent approval for the way he is handling foreign policy, his worst grade ever on that score. The president’s overall job approval is a negative 44 – 48 percent, little changed from a 45 – 49 percent rating May 30.

The president has lost support among women and independent voters – the folks who supplied the key votes for his re-election just eight months ago. In April, the president’s overall 49 – 45 approval rating included a 44 – 46 percent verdict from independent voters. Now he gets a negative 36 – 53 percent rating from the same group. Since April his approval among Democrats is down from 89 – 8 percent to 83 – 11 percent, while his negative 9 – 87 percent score from Republicans is virtually unchanged.

Reuters’ David Rohde on Obama Administration : “Terrible Optics” of President Barack Obama Golfing and Sec. of State John Kerry Yachting after Egypt Over-Throws Morsi

So somebody in the MSM finally decided to say it  … What the hell is Obama thinking?

David Rohde of Reuters criticized the Obama Administration on CBS’ Face the Nation this weekend. Rohde stated that the optics were terrible following what was supposed to be a strong statement by Barack Obama regarding the situation in Egypt. So some one in the media is finally questions Obama’s optics … “Terrible Optics” of Obama Golfing and Kerry Yachting as Egypt burns.

” … you have a bit now in Egypt where the president has a tough statement and then I don’t know how this happened, but it was terrible optics. The next day the President goes golfing, Secretary Kerry’s out on his yacht. What does that say to young people in Egypt, across the Middle East–whether they’re part of the debate–about America’s interest in the region?

RCP – VIDEO

Just curious, where has Reuters’ David Rohde been for the past 4+ years with regards to the “terrible optics” of Obama golfing or vacationing as record number of Americans are on food stamps, continued 7.6%+ unemployment, Americans are forced into part-time work rather than full time due to Obamacare and Americans losing their homes? How come no one has questioned those optics? Face it … Egypt and the Middle East is just learning what America has had to deal with, this president is apathetic and just does not care. Barack Obama has gone golfing 130 times since in office. Where was the MSM questioning those rounds of golf? Did theu just happen to missing those optics?

Bystander in Chief Obama Not Making Phone Calls, But Joe Biden Is … VP Biden Asks Ecuador to Turn Down Asylum for NSA Leaker Snowden

Looks like Vice President Biden was not too good to make a phone call regarding NSA leaker Edward Snowden.

Earlier this week President Barack Obama, the “Bystander” in Chief, made it known in a smug and arrogant manner that he was too good to make any calls to Russia, China or Ecuador regarding Edward Snowden. Obama stated that there was a process and he would not be making any calls because he didn’t have to and he “wouldn’t be scrambling jets” to get Snowden. So glad that he is taking the situation do seriously and making flip responses to reporters questions. Obama lowered the bar on Snowden’s espionage calling him a “hacker” after others in his administration have referred to Snowden’s actions as the greatest security intelligence breach in US history. So which is it? How bad is it when Biden becomes the adult in the White House? Thus, Biden got on the phone and called Rafael Correa to turn down Snowden’s asylum request

Correa said he had a “friendly and very cordial” conversation with Biden, and told the vice president that Ecuador hadn’t sought to be put in the situation of deciding whether to harbor an American justice-dodger. He said Ecuador can’t consider the asylum request until Snowden is on Ecuadorean soil.

“The moment that he arrives, if he arrives, the first thing is we’ll ask the opinion of the United States, as we did in the Assange case with England,” Correa said. “But the decision is ours to make.”

The question that needs to be asked Biden by Wh reporters is whether Snowden is a big “F’n” deal?

Biden-phone

Biden – Am I the 100th caller? Oh President Rafael Correa, how are you?

Vice President Joe Biden has asked Ecuador to turn down an asylum request from National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, the country’s president said Saturday.

Rafael Correa, in a weekly television address, offered little sympathy for the Obama administration’s view that Snowden is a criminal who should be swiftly returned to the U.S. At the same time, he vowed to seek American input on any asylum request and suggested Snowden will have to answer for his actions.

The Friday phone call between Correa and Biden – it’s the highest-level conversation between the U.S. and Ecuador to be disclosed since Snowden began seeking asylum – added to the confusion about Snowden’s status. Facing espionage charges in the U.S., Snowden is believed to be holed up in a Moscow airport’s transit zone and seeking safe passage to Ecuador, the country seen as likeliest to shelter America’s most wanted fugitive.

Basically, Obama knows that Ecuador is going to tell the United States to pound sand when it comes the the extradition of Edward Snowden, so Obama would rather throw Biden under the bus than provide any form of leadership himself. I guess Obama will learn what happens when the media reports it.

The Bystander in Chief President Obama Hasn’t Called Russians, Chinese About Snowden … “I’m Not Going to Be Scrambling Jets to Get a 29 Year-Old Hacker” Edward Snowden

The Bystander in Chief Barack Obama … Talk About leading from Behind.

And now we have more proof that President Obama just does not get engaged in issues unless it has to do with “green energy”, a war on oil or coal, or attacking conservatives and the Tea Party. As reported at The Weekly Standard, President Obama hasn’t called the Chinese and Russians about NSA leaker Edward Snowden, the man wanted by the U.S. government for espionage. HUH? Obama said smugly, “I’m Not Going to Be Scrambling Jets to Get a 29-Year-Old Hacker.” REALLY? Just a hacker? Hasn’t it been reported that Snowden had taken US intelligence? Hasn’t Snowden’s actions of disclosing NSA surveillance secrets been touted as damaging and one of the worst cases ever? Now we hear from Obama, Snowden is just a hacker. Obama really has no credibility any more. Just curious, how damaging or severe was what Snowden did if it does not prompt a call from Obama?

How does some one go from super spy potentially telling China and Russia some of our greatest secrets saved on a thumb drive and public enemy number # charged with espionage, to just a common hacker? Maybe if it was a campaign stop or fund raiser Obama would have made a call.

“No, I’m Not Going to Be Scrambling Jets to Get a 29-Year-Old Hacker”

Isn’t this the same president that did not meet with his jobs council for 6 months during a recession? And the same president that no one knows where he was the night that the Benghazi consulate was attacked by terrorist and four Americans were murdered?

UPDATE I: But then Obama says according to CBS News, he is “concerned” Edward Snowden could leak more. How concerned could he really be, if he refuses to engage. Talk about a weak, weak president.

“I continue to be concerned about the other documents he may have,” Mr. Obama said at the joint news conference in Dakar with Senegalese President Macky Sall. “He has those documents. He’s released some of them but not all of them have been released.”

My How the Mighty Have Fallen, 2008 Candidate Obama Berlin Speech 200,000 … Only 4,500 for President Obama Today

Looks like Obama has also lost that Lovin’ Feeling of the German people as well … Obama’s tried to “TAP” into Germany and fails.

The International rock star status of Barack Obama has gone the way of the do-do bird.  Remember in 2008 when Barack Obama spoke in front of over 200,000 people. Everyone fawned over the “Hope & Change” candidate. However, that was then, this is now and Obama experienced a far different experience this time.  As stated at the Weekly Standard, Obama spoke to only 4,500 people today in Berlin, Germany at the Brandenburg Gate. It would appear that the Germans have wizened up to Obama’s game. It was simply Barack Obama’s Spinal Tap moment. Not only does the emperor have no clothes, he also has no audience, influence or magic.

TODAY

Marty: The last time Tap toured America, they where, uh, booked into
10,000 seat arenas, and 15,000 seat venues, and it seems that now,
on their  current tour they’re being booked into 1,200 seat
arenas, 1,500 seat arenas, and uh I was just wondering,
does this mean uh…the popularity of the group is waning?
Ian:   Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no…no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think
that the.. uh.. their appeal is becoming more selective.

2008 When Obama had the World BS’d

Just curious, what was the point why Obama went to speak at the Berlin Wall? Could it have been any more weak? Could Obama have looked any smaller? President John F. Kennedy spoke at the Brandenburg Gate (VIDEO) following the Berlin airlift. President Ronald Reagan (VIDEO) made his famous “tear sown this Wall” speech there. Obama, well Obama spoke from behind a glass wall and just looked small. Just how “Lost in Smallness” could Obama be? Who on earth thought that having him speak here was a good idea? The visual of 200,000 vs. 4500 is simply embarrassing.

When he arrived here on Tuesday evening ahead of a full day of talks — capped by a speech at the Brandenburg Gate — the reception was far more restrained.

Almost five years later, Germans have undergone “a brutal sobering up” with regard to Mr. Obama, said Ralf Fücks, who heads the board of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, a nonprofit political organization in Berlin. It is, he said, as overdone as the euphoria of 2008, but also a bit alarming.

Mr. Fücks and other Germans say there are several reasons for the change in attitude. The most commonly cited: the president’s inability to close the prison at Guantánamo Bay, continued killings by American drones and, most recently, the disclosure of an extensive program for surveillance of foreigners.
