But I thought Obama said under Obamacare our premiums would go down … Not so says  Health Industry Officials.

What would the day be like without out another Barack Obama lie regarding Obamacare? The Hill is reporting that healthcare industry officials are saying that O-care related premiums will double in some parts of the country. This is in direct contrast to what Obama promised and (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius continually spins. As one industry official said, “It’s pretty shortsighted because I think everybody knows that the way the exchange has rolled out … is going to lead to higher costs.” Gee, ya think? Let alone they have missed their mark badly on the number of enrollees, and more importantly, the number of young, healthy, non-subsidy seeking enrollees.

Don’t worry Barack, they won’t find out the truth until it’s too late, Hope & Change, Hope & Change, lower premiums …  ah-ha-ha-ha!!!

Health industry officials say ObamaCare-related premiums will double in some parts of the country, countering claims recently made by the administration.

The expected rate hikes will be announced in the coming months amid an intense election year, when control of the Senate is up for grabs. The sticker shock would likely bolster the GOP’s prospects in November and hamper ObamaCare insurance enrollment efforts in 2015.

The industry complaints come less than a week after Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius sought to downplay concerns about rising premiums in the healthcare sector. She told lawmakers rates would increase in 2015 but grow more slowly than in the past.

“The increases are far less significant than what they were prior to the Affordable Care Act,” the secretary said in testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee.

Her comment baffled insurance officials, who said it runs counter to the industry’s consensus about next year.

“It’s pretty shortsighted because I think everybody knows that the way the exchange has rolled out … is going to lead to higher costs,” said one senior insurance executive who requested anonymity.

Will some benefit from Obama, certainly. But it does not even come close the the amount of people that will be adversely affected. It just goes to show you that if a lie is told long enough and loud  enough, and not questioned in any responsible manner, it can become the truth by an apathetic people. Oh yea, and if you like your healthcare plan and doctor, you will be able to keep them too.

Remember when Obama said that for those who get their healthcare insurance through their workplace, that through Obamacare your employers would see their premiums decrease by 3000% and would be able to give you a raise? Buying that American? Why do you think Obama has delayed the employer mandate for Obamacare, maybe because that is where an overwhelming majority of Americans receive their healthcare and the premiums would escalate, not go down? Or because your employer would toss you off the plan and onto Obamacare? And maybe, just maybe to get by the 2014 and 2014 elections.

Now the Obama administration are launching a new marketing campaign wrapped around the NCAA men’s and women’s college basketball tournaments. Seriously? First of all, Obama should not be filling out NCAA brackets. I would like to think that the President of the United States might have more important things to do. At least, he better! Also, stop attempting to pick winners and losers. With your track record, it has been mainly losers. Could we Americans just have something that is free from Obamacare? Please, we beg you!!!

Health care officials are launching a new marketing campaign wrapped around the NCAA men’s and women’s college basketball tournaments that start this week.

Starting Monday, Obama, some of his aides and celebrity athletes who back the health care plan will conduct interviews, make public service ads and use social media appeals as a key deadline looms on March 31.

Citing the popularity of college basketball during the tournament season known as March Madness, White House senior communications adviser Tara McGuinness said, “We’re putting on a full-court press to remind our fellow fans that there are two weeks left to sign up for quality, affordable health insurance.”

Russian State TV Says Russia Could turn US to ‘Radioactive Ash’

Look what Russian state run TV is saying as American Democrat run media remains silent …

Anchor Dmitry Kiselyov of Russian state run TV said on Sunday, Russia was the only country capable of turning the United States into “radioactive ash”. So much for that Obama/Russian reset, eh? The anchor went on to say, “Americans themselves consider Putin to be a stronger leader than Obama.” Newsbusters points out that mum is the world when it comes to the US media reporting on the story. However, it would appear that the media to the North did.

A leading anchor on Russian state television on Sunday described Russia as the only country capable of turning the United States into “radioactive ash”, in an incendiary comment at the height of tensions over the Crimea referendum.

“Russia is the only country in the world realistically capable of turning the United States into radioactive ash,” anchor Dmitry Kiselyov said on his weekly news show on state-controlled Rossiya 1 television.

Kiselyov made the comment to support his argument that the United States and President Barack Obama were living in fear of Russia led by President Vladimir Putin amid the Ukraine crisis.

His program was broadcast as the first exit polls were being published showing an overwhelming majority of Crimeans voting to leave Ukraine and join Russia.

He stood in his studio in front of a gigantic image of a mushroom cloud produced after a nuclear attack, with the words “into radioactive ash”.

“Americans themselves consider Putin to be a stronger leader than Obama,” he added, pointing to opinion polls which then popped up on the screen.

It’s Official, Democrats are in Panic Mode Ahead of 2014 Midterm Elections … Some Veteran House Dems To Retire

The New York Times has officially declared that the Democrats should be worried ahead of the 2014 midterm elections. Why so concerned, Barack Obama’s sinking job approval ratings, the GOP’s special election House win in Florida 13 and the continued dissatisfaction with Obamacare to name a few. Democrats have been in denial for quite some time when it comes to their chances of success in 2014. However, Barack Obama has become toxic and so have his policies and agenda.

Of course Barack Obama sent Baghdad Bob White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer to go out on ‘Meet the Press‘ this past Sunday and spin the obvious. Pfeiffer said,“the president will be an asset in every way possible to help these candidates” and that Democrats are on the right side of the issue that matters most to Americans, jobs and the economy. Okay, try not to laugh. Really, Americans agree with Obama/Democrats on the economy, polls would say a much different story.

Democrats are becoming increasingly alarmed about their midterm election fortunes amid President Obama’s sinking approval ratings, a loss in a special House election in Florida last week, and millions of dollars spent by Republican-aligned groups attacking the new health law.

The combination has led to uncharacteristic criticism of Mr. Obama and bitter complaints that his vaunted political organization has done little to help the party’s vulnerable congressional candidates.

The latest in a cascade of bad news came Friday when Scott Brown, a former senator from Massachusetts, announced an exploratory committee to challenge the incumbent Democrat in New Hampshire, Senator Jeanne Shaheen, and when the Republican-aligned “super PAC” American Crossroads said it would spend $600,000 to help his effort.

Earlier, another top-tier Republican recruit, Representative Cory Gardner, decided to challenge Senator Mark Udall of Colorado; the two races create unanticipated opportunities improving Republicans’ chances to take control of the Senate. No prominent Democrats predict their party will win back the House.

Over the weekend on CNN on ‘Inside Politics’, John King said that because of the results in the Florida 13 special election, look for a few more veteran House Democrats to retire seeing the handwriting on the wall and no chance for Democrats to win back the House.

Watch in the week or so ahead for a few more retirements by veteran House Democrats.

I’m told the Florida special election results were the last straw for at least two and perhaps more House Democrats facing tough 2014 races.

Are You Serious, Barack Obama Lectures on Budgeting, Obama Says … You Can Afford Obamacare If You Cut Out Cable & Cell Phones from Your Lives

El Ling Mentira: Hmm, I thought Obama’s ‘Affordable Healthcare Act’ was supposed to be affordable? Or as they say south of the border … asequible.

It would appear that even the Hispanics have problems with Obamacare. At a town hall-style meeting with the Spanish-language media, President Barack Obama had the audacity to actually arrogantly lecture others on budgeting properly in order to pay for his signature piece of legislation. What the hell would Obama know about budgeting? This from the president who has increased our federal debt more than any other one in history. When a consumer complained in a letter that he could not find affordable rates under Obamacare, Obama said smugly that maybe he has not prioritized health care.UNREAL!!!

“If you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill, other things they are spending on. It may turn out that, it’s just they haven’t prioritized health care.”

The difference is Mr. President that it is their choice to own cable or a cell phone, not a federally mandated law to purchase a product or be be hit with a punitive tax for a service that one does not even purchase. As all can see from this Spanish-language town hall, even Hispanics loath Obamacare. Hint, hint GOP!!!

“If the President actually believes that a family earning less than $40,000 per year can afford nearly $4,000 in health insurance premiums, then he truly does not understand middle-income families. Americans do not need the President to tell them how to Budget their households. People are already cutting back on things like cable television and cell phones, just to compensate for an awful economy.This President promised he would deliver on affordable health care. Instead, premiums are up, out-of-pocket expenses are up, and overall cost of living is up. The President simply doesn’t get it. And his condescending attitude adds insult to injury.”

The Gateway Pundit reminds us of more of Obama’s lies to the American people regarding the cost of Obamacare. In the video below, Obama says that the cost of Obamacare will cost less than a cell phone. Now he tells people they have to prioritize and give up their cell phone to pay for Obamacare. What a joke. How would that political slogan have played prior to the 2012 presidential campaign … You can have Obamacare or your smart phone, not both … YOU DECIDE!
