Barack Obama’s toxic presidency could cost Democrats control of the US Senate in 2014.

In 2008 many Democrats were swept into office on Barack Obama’s coattails like Mark Begich in Alaska, Kay Hagen in North Carolina, Jeff Merkley in Oregon, Al Franken in Minnesota, Jeanne Shaheen in New Hampshire, and Democrat victories in Red states like Max Baucus in Montana, Tim Johnson in South Dakota, Mark Pryor in Arkansas and Mary  Landrieu in Louisiana. However, that was then, this is now and 2014 presents the Democrat party with a Barack Obama “no-fly” zone to stay away from Senate races. From Obamamessiah to the toxic president in just 6 short years. Other than going to maybe Minnesota or Oregon, Obama will be a no show in the rest of the states. However, voters do not let that fool you … all of the Democrats above are fully behind Barack Obama’s agenda and have voted for Obamacare and illegal’s getting amnesty. Once the election is over, all of the above Democrat Senators will go right back to doing Obama’s bidding.

In an election that Republicans want to make all about President Barack Obama, the White House is determined to make him all but disappear in the battleground states that matter.

The White House is putting the finishing touches on a post-Labor Day schedule that will send the president to states where he’s still popular, such as: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Illinois and California, Obama officials and Democratic operatives said this week.

But in the red states that will determine control of the Senate, Obama will remain scarce. That means no personal campaign visits to states like Arkansas, Alaska, Louisiana and North Carolina. He may do some targeted outreach through robocalls, digital ads and conference calls, but the campaign plan is clear: Stay away from candidates he’s already hurting.

Obama’s no-fly zone for certain Senate campaigns reflects the deep concern among Democrats about his drag on the national ticket. Obama can’t seem to get his poll numbers out of the low 40s, he’s struggled through an endless stream of foreign policy crises, and he’s the last person that many candidates want to be forced to defend on the campaign trail.

There are 36 U.S. Senate seats up for election in 2014. Of those seats, 15 are currently held by Republicans and 21 are held by Democrats. The GOP need a net pick up of 6 seats to retain control of the Senate. The control of the Senate will be determined by the below 13 states: 1 incumbent Republican, 1 open Republican, 6 Incumbent Democrat and  5 open Democrat.

Kaiser Family Foundation Poll: Obamacare is More Unpopular Than Ever … Now at 53% Unfavorable … (Update: Even Barney Frank Calls Obama Admin Lies)

OBAMACARE AS UNPOPULAR AS EVER …

According to the most recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation is more unpopular than ever. Fifty-three percent now view Obamacare unfavorably, an 8% increase since June 2014. As the Lonely Conservative opines, someone should tell Nancy Pelosi about this poll as when Democrats passed this horrible health care law and said we would then find out what was in it, they will like it. What is most comical about the WAPO article is their disbelief that Obamacare could become more negative after so-called manipulated data that there was a major drop in the nation’s uninsured rate. A note to the WAPO, maybe it is because individuals personal experiences are not the same as fabricated numbers.

Even after survey after survey has recently shown a major drop in the nation’s uninsured rate, Obamacare just had its worst month in a key health-care poll.

Kaiser Family Foundation, which has done arguably the best and most consistent polling on the health-care law in the past four-plus years, found that public opinion on the law sank to a record low in July. More people than ever (53 percent) last month said they viewed the law unfavorably, an increase of 8 percentage points since June — one of the biggest opinion swings ever.

As the foundation notes, more people seemingly made up their minds about the law last month. The rate of those without an opinion on the Affordable Care Act dropped from 16 percent in June to 11 percent in July.

The unfavorable opinion of Obamacare has not even come close to its apex. Many Americans have not experienced the train-wreck of Obamacare yet. This was purposely done by Obama and Democrats with targeted delays until after the 2014 midterm and 2016 elections so to lessen the wrath of “We the People” against Democrats. Once the ACA has its full impact on Americans, it will be over 60% unfavorable.

The American Conservative Union (ACU), gave Lamar Alexander a 60 percent rating for 2013, 68% in 2012 and a lifetime rating of 76%. What does that tell us? Lamar is becoming more and more liberal in his votes.

The Heritage Action scoreboard gives Lamar Alexander a dismal 49% rating.

Freedom Works gives Lamar a 63% lifetime score. and 50% in 2013.

CNN’s State of the Union with Candy Crowley Interview of Lois Lerner’s Attorney William Taylor III … He Actually Made it Worse, “I get that it’s convenient to create suspicion”.

So let’s understand this, Lois Lerner pleads the 5th, yet her attorney goes on the liberal media to speak for her?

William Taylor III, former IRS employee Lois Lerner’s attorney, went on CNN this Sunday in an interview on ‘State of the Union’ with Candy Crowley and actually made matters worse. His client has decided not to testify in front of Congress as she Plead her Fifth and applied her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. So then why do we need to hear anything from her attorney? If Lerner and her missing emails does not have the honor to tell what happened and her involvement in the IRS scandal of targeting conservative non-profit groups, then we really do not need to hear spin from an attorney. Hey Lois, Put up or shut up! Her mouth piece tried to divert the story by saying, “There’s 2,000 e-mail crashes – there’s 2,000 computer crashes in the IRS since January 1 of this year.” However, when asked by Crowley whether all of the computer crashes were irretrievable, he had no idea. And their lies the rub. Let’s look into those 2000 email crashes, other than the ones that are connected to IRS-gate and see how the IRS handled those. What a novel concept.

TAYLOR: There’s 2,000 e-mail crashes – there’s 2,000 computer crashes in the IRS since January 1 of this year.  It’s no – it’s not…

CROWLEY:  Are all of them irretrievable?

TAYLOR:  I don’t know, but I…

Then Taylor stated that Lois Lerner was upset as anybody when she walked into the office and her screen was blue, having lost all her emails. They called the IT guys in but never bothered to contact the tape retrieval back up?  Hmm, then why so silent Lois? If you were so upset and have nothing to hide and have done nothing wrong, why plead the 5th, not once … but twice?

Attorney William Taylor III then channeled his inner Hillary Clinton and blames a “vast Right Wing conspiracy” for Lois Lerner’s emails. He had the nerve to say that the GOP was politicizing IRS-gate when the reality is this IRS scandal took place to fix an election. Lerner and the IRS contributed in the swaying of an election in 2012 and now her lawyer says she will not be a political, election year scapegoat. Seriously? Taylor said his client did nothing wrong and did not violate the paperwork – federal paperwork law. Oops, then Taylor said, “She printed out some things, not others.” Hey dude, you don’t get to pick and choose with the federal law of backing up emails.

TAYLOR:  He called me – he called me one, too.  And I won’t respond to that, except that – except to say he’s wrong.

It’s convenient.  This is an election-year politics.  It’s convenient to have a demon that they can create and point to.  Let me tell you something basic about this.  People who want to give money to elections and do so in a tax-free way have to submit themselves to the scrutiny of the IRS to be sure that they’re complying with the rules that limit political activity.

If the IRS is not looking at political activity in the (c)(4) applications, which is what this is, they’re not doing what they’re supposed to be doing.  So, it’s like saying they’re examining us for political activity, when that’s exactly the criteria that they’re submitting for their applications.

CROWLEY:  Did your client violate the paperwork – federal paperwork law?

TAYLOR:  No. She did exactly what the IRS required that she do.

CROWLEY:  But she didn’t back up her e-mails, which was IRS – you’re supposed to print out things.

TAYLOR:  She printed out some things, not others.  You can’t print out hundreds of thousands of e-mails.  We will be back – we will be back to the days…

TAYLOR:  Well, it’s not just what she said.  The record that was created at the time in terms of e-mails is undisputed.

She walked into the office one day, and her screen went blue.  She asked for help in restoring it.  And the I.T. people came and attempted to restore it.  They even went so far as to send it to another expert to try to restore the e-mails.

There’s 2,000 e-mail crashes – there’s 2,000 computer crashes in the IRS since January 1 of this year.  It’s no – it’s not…

CROWLEY:  Are all of them irretrievable?

TAYLOR:  I don’t know, but I…

CROWLEY:  I think that’s what is sort of blowing people’s minds, is, we get it that computers crash.  But to then say, you know what, we couldn’t get it, and so then we shredded the hard drive, you know, as an attorney, that that’s one of the things you would pounce on and go whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute.

TAYLOR:  Sure.

CROWLEY:  Yes.

TAYLOR:  But, you know, you do the best you can under the circumstances.  Nobody was thinking about trying to keep anything from being discovered.

She was as upset as anybody else was about the loss of the e-mails and the other documents which were on there, which were quite important to her.  But the truth is, this – this was one of those things that happened.  At the time, she did everything she could to retrieve it.  She reported it right away, and that’s the story.  That’s all there is to it.
