Frank Luntz Focus Group Overwhelmingly for Romney … One Member Says Obama’s Lied & “Been Bullsh*tting the Public”

Frank Luntz focus group goes big for Mitt Romney …

An interesting thing happened following last nights Presidential debate in Long Island, New York. The Frank Luntz focus group was a group of voters from Nevada, many of who had voted for Obama in 2008. In the end about 80 to 90 percent of the focus group members who had voted for Obama in the 2008 election stated that they were voting for Romney in 2012. When asked by Frank Luntz to describe Romney, they said the following:

“Forceful, compassionate, presidential,” one participant said.
“Confident and realistic,” said another.
“Presidential,” another told Luntz.
“Enthusiastic,” another reacted.
“Our next president,” one man said.
“Dynamo, winner,” said one more.

The focus group was jazzed for Romney and extremely critical of President Obama. Actually, it appeared that many in the focus group were tired of being tired of Obama. One in fact was sick and tired of Obama’s lies and let it be known, sensors be damned:

“He’s lied about everything. He lied to get elected in 2008 that’s why I voted for him. I bought it. Bull. And, he’s lied about everything. He hasn’t come through on anything. And he’s been bullsh*tting the public.“

Frank Luntz overall analysis of the focus group was that so many undecided voters had switched to Romney that this was “as significant as Denver”. f this focus group is any reflection of what voters are thinking and feeling in Nevada, no wonder many consider that the Nevada in now in play in 2012.

More Media Bias … Obama Gets More Time in the Debate: Obama got 44:04, Romney got 40:50

Yet another shocker from the liberal CNN moderator, Barack Obama provided more time to talk lie during the debate as opposed to Mitt Romney. In the end Obama was allowed to talk for 44:04 minutes of speaking time, while Romney got 40:50.

Amid persistent complaints and interruptions from both candidates, President Obama ultimately got more than three extra minutes of speaking time than Mitt Romney during Tuesday’s debate.

According to CNN’s timekeeping, Obama got 44:04 minutes of speaking time, while Romney got 40:50.

When are Republicans going to demand that a Fox News anchor be allowed to moderate vs. always having to deal with these liberal, MSM hacks?

More Shameful Media Bias … CNN Moderator Candy Crowley Leaps to Defend Obama During Presidential Debate on Benghazi Act of Terror Question

Prior to the debate, many were concerned that CNN’s Candy Crowly was going to defy the debate contract. After tonight’s performance, moderator Crowly not only defied the contract but also decided to double-team GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney when she decided to interject herself into the debate and defend Obama on a key Benghazi question. Simple shameful.

In an interview with CNN this afternoon, Candy Crowley reiterated that, like past town-hall debate moderators, she intends to do more than just hold the microphone at tonight’s debate in Hempstead, N.Y. — an intention that has caused concern for both campaigns.

At debates end, it was only the Romney camp that needed to be concerned as the CNN Moderator showed her true colors and that she was in the tank for Obama when Crowley interjected herself in the debate as a real time fact checker and got it 100% wrong. But of course she was defending Obama so truth be damned. Watch the video below where the moderator steps in to defend Obama when the President had never called the Benghazi attack a terrorist attack in the Rose Garden.

News Busters has the transcript of the exchange. It was the only time during the debate that the moderator moved to correct one of the candidates. Because we all know that Obama told the truth 100% of the time.

“I think it’s interesting the president just said something, which is that on the day after the attack he went into the Rose Garden and said that this was an act of terror,” Romney said.

“That’s what I said,” Obama replied.

“You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, it was an act of terror,” said Romney. “It was not a spontaneous demonstration, is that what you’re saying?”

“Please proceed governor,” said Obama.

“I want to make sure we get that for the record because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror,” said Romney.

“Get the transcript,” Obama replied.

For the first time during the debate, Crowley moved to correct one of the candidates.

“He did, in fact, sir. So let me — let me call it an act of terror…”

“Can you say that a little louder, Candy?” Obama asked.

“He — he did call it an act of terror. It did as well take — it did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that,” Crowley clarified.

UPDATE I: Candy Crowley disgraced herself tonight by showing her true liberal colors and defended Obama when he lied and she was 100% incorrect. Way to shill for Obama you partisan hack.

UPDATE II: Obama: “no acts of terrorism”, 1:50 mark. Check out the video of what Obama actually said in the Rose Garden. The President never said it was an act of terrorism … HE LIED TONIGHT.

More from NRO …

His only mention of “terror”:

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.  Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America.

Gallup: Mitt Romney 50% – Barack Obama 46% Among Likely Voters

Wow, the Gallup poll is breaking for Romney. The most recent Gallup poll has Romney up over Obama 50% to 46% among “likely” voters. With one more good debate by Mitt Romney this evening or a poor or average showing by Obama, this race could be over tonight. Romney needs to properly explain the obligatory 47% question you know is coming tonight and needs to say the following with regards to Benghazi, and the terror attacks, A President delegates authority, a President does not delegate responsibility.

The Gallup poll is completely damning for Obama. With every single voting demographic, Obama is down from 2008, some down big.

More specifically, here are the key changes in Obama’s support by group since 2008:

  • Degreed voters backing off Obama: In 2008, Obama led McCain among postgraduate educated voters by a 30-point margin, while he ran roughly even with McCain among those with lower levels of education. Today, Obama’s postgraduate advantage has been cut to 14 points and he trails Romney among college graduates (those with four-year degrees only) by 22 points. His support from high school graduates and those with some college is also down slightly, providing no counterbalance to his major losses among the college educated.
  •  Southern losses: The South gave Obama the least support of any region in 2008, but still split their vote evenly for Obama vs. McCain. Today, Southerners favor Romney by a 22-point margin, the largest shift of any region. Voters in the East are also less supportive, while preferences in the West and Midwest are little changed.
  •  Young voters stick with him: Young voters were an important part of Obama’s 2008 coalition, and in 2012 they continue to support him overwhelmingly, at roughly the same level as four years ago. The difficulty for Obama is that he currently has less support among each older age group, particularly those aged 30 to 49 years.
  •  White support dwindles: Obama lost the white vote in 2008 by 12 percentage points, but that was more than offset by a 72-point lead among nonwhites. Today, Obama has a more daunting 22-point deficit among whites, while his margin over Romney among nonwhites is essentially unchanged.
  •  Men move away: In 2008, Gallup found a 14-point swing in gender preferences for president, with women favoring Obama by a 14-point margin and men tied in their preferences for Obama vs. McCain. Today, there is a 20-point gender gap. Women’s support for Obama shrank to six percentage points, while men favor Romney by 14 points.
